Hello everyone,
I am envious of all those ladies who manage perfect winged eyeliner! I have watched the videos, know about the business card trick, know about Beauty Blender's design your liner tool (don't have that but people say business cards are just as good) and you know what?
My eyes look different every single time. I just can't seem to get them equal.
That's to say, if you were to look at just the one eye it would be fine, but them looking different messes the whole look up.
How do I get my eyeliner to look the same on both sides? And what other hacks do you have for achieving the perfect eyeliner look?
Ah well, yeah. The business card trick will get you straight lines for sure, but it doesn't equalise both sides. What you gotta do to achieve equal looking, though not necessarily actually equal, eyeliner on both sides is point that business card up to the end of your brow, which yeah, I advise you draw on first if you need to do that, which I do. (My brows are non-existent as well as really short so I make em longer.) If you do that, yeah, you'll get a flick oriented towards the brows, and it'll look cool. Good luck gal.
See, I think that BeautyBlender Liner Designer (that's what it was called, right?) could actually help you get both sides looking the same. It's a triangular kind of shape, not rectangular. Placed right, the end of one side would teach your outer corner of the eye, and the other the end of your brow. I don't currently own this tool but I saw it in the store as well as on YouTube. There are plenty of people slamming it, saying it's a useless thing to get, but I could see myself investing in it quite easily. I think it would be useful.
Anyway, different kinds of eyeliner also have different effects. Black is bold. Gray brightens your eyes. White on the waterline makes your eyes bigger. Nude makes you more awake, more healthy. And different bright colors like blue, silver, turquoise, can complement your eye color.
What you use is all up to you. With some playing around, you should quickly figure out what works best. (And yes, you can use the same brush for all if you clean it.)
