I'm 25 years old and worried about a new change in me.I have protected sex with my boy friend. We have protected sex , even not completed.I mean we both not released. But after that I am having Off white DISCHARGE with lil smell and have pain in my lower back.Is it symptom of pregnancy?
My boy friend is saying that I must get pregnancy test ? He thinks that When he was wearing condom , a pre cum liquid was in is finger which later he used his fingur to reach my vaginal area [Sorry for my bad english] ? This thing can make me pregnant ? One thing he cleaned his figure with cotton before accessing my vaginal area.
After two days my periods will start ? I'm worried about it if missed than it means that I'm pregnant but if it comes normal than is there any chance that I will get pregnant? Please kindly give my both answers. Many thanks

to respond to both guests i had the same problem over a few years. and my obgyn ended up giving me some heavy heavy yest infection stuff and i had to take monistat after that because she said there was so much bacteria... all i can advise is see your doc, get a second opinion and take care of it asap... [if its like cottage cheese] even if the cottage cheese like discharge is NOT ending up in your undies... its still there... take care of it... like everyone said always feeling wet is ok... lotion is okay... but when its thick and white it isnt
i have discharge right before and right after my pd and i am always skeptical when my bf goes down on me but if u guys have a proper relationship you can share this info with him and he will understand... make sure hes not getting any symptoms cuz then it could be chlamydia... chlamydia looks a lot like yeast infection.

i have had lotionlike vagincal discharge since my last pregnancy.. it almost soaks my underwear! (sorry!).. ive had all the proper tests done with my gyn but everything comes back negative. she has told me that i have naturally high levels of bacteria in my vagina, and has perscribed me metraconizole plenty of times but it has no effect. she thinks that my bacteria level goes down & rises because my boyfriend & i are spreading it back & forth to one another.. he wouldnt show symptoms & would just be a carrier.. im just putting this out there. anyhow. theres nothing i can do to get this discharge to go away & it alaways seems worse around the time before my period, its annoying, and sometimes makes sex messy! :-( anyone have any advice ? or similar experiences!?
Yea, that's how it is with me too. I'm 22. It really sucks, because it's excessive and I always have to put on a pantyliner. Has no smell doesn't itch or anything but it's like lotion and sometimes thicker like gel kinda. I'm married and it's embarrassing because If I'm really in the mood to do something with my husband I have to stop everything and run to the bathroom to make sure nothing is there..it makes me uncomfortable. The constant feeling like you put on wet panties doesn't feel good either. I went to the doc to not because I thought it was a disease but to see if there's something that can make it go away, he said that was normal. Some females get it some don't. IT SUCKS!!! Some old Ladies say wash your thingy with Baking Soda and water and it would go away...my little cousin tried it said it worked for her.....Never tried it myself though.. ahahahah
Hi - i can definitely relate to most of you- i really don't think you should worry too much espescailly if you have been checked out and test have come back NEGATIVE (as in the all clear). i have had heavy thick discharge- white in colour since i was 12- and I just turned 22. It began right before i started my period and hasn't really stopped since- rarely do i have a dry day- but it isnt really to the extent that i feel as though im on or about to start my period (unless i am close to it and then the discharges can be heavier).
It doesn't have much to do with being a virgin or not- because mine has been pretty much the same before and after. I think it depends on your race too- darker women like myself tend to have heavier discharges from what the Doctor tells me and experience of talking to women has
hope this helps
Don't woory so much- its nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about- its natural and im sure guys will merely assume you are wet for them !?

im so relieved. i was embarrassed and nervous that iv had something but i feel more normal now. (: i guess everyone just has different stuff. :-D
HI... um this is kinda embarrassing... im 15.. and im going to be 16 in about 2months and i have the same issues since i was like 12 or 13. the only difference with my situation is that there is NO itching... %-) I keep researching to see if its a yeast infection but i dont have any itching and its not really clumps... here and there its white and clear. So i have no idea what it is. It's really gross... :$ cause it seems like i have my period but sometimes i dont... so i always seem like i have to go to the bathroom a lot :$ ... my parents dont take me to the doctor to get a pap... im A VIRGIN soooooo it cant be an STD... i really want to cure this... is this normal???? if it is... is it possible to cure it %-)
The white lotion discharge is normal. We are go through it and throughout my life it has sometimes been less and sometimes been more. What I found out through my experience is my anxiety about it made it worse. I was cleaning in there with regular soap most of my younger life until my ob/gyn told me that I was killing off the good bacteria by using such harsh soaps and that makes the bad bacteria take over (causing a bacterial infection). I have been using my mild shampoo for cleansing for years now, and never got a bacterial infection again.
This is in response to guest. It almost seems to me as if it is Bacterial Vaginitis. What can be occuring, is that your boyfriend is not showing symptoms but is a carrier. When you take the meds your body is ridding itself of the infection but once you have sexual activity unprotected the bacteria is transmitted again... which is why it is an endless cycle. I recommend that the two of you visit a doctor together. He/She will perscribe something for the two of you so this vicious cycle will end.
Hope it helps!

Dude.... so... you said... you weren't sure if it was because you quit your meds or not.... This is what happened to me man! Once I stopped taking my trinessa... all this happened with my vag, the discharge... which isn't like... creamy cheesy... it's just whiteish... and weird... kinda... slippery. Used to, it was perfect though!!! I was also thinking... I was like.. what if as us girls get older, are vaginas get realllyy different... but I think the meds thing makes more sense. I don't know....
I am 38 and I have had this same discharge as long as I can remember. It happens around ovulation time, only I can't have kids. I produce cysts instead on eggs. It happens when I laugh hard, cough, sneeze and when I get through peeing and have everything tucked in, zipped up and hands washed. It gets on my NERVES!!!! 2 nights ago I felt it again and went to the bathroom. It was the most I have ever seen. It was covered in my underwear from stitch to stitch. I was tripping out. I dont find it getting any dryer since I'm getting older. I never have asked a Dr. about it though because I forget. I've never had ANY diseases. It is VERY frustarating. If I wear an outfit or dresses that you can't wear underwear with, I have to wear a tampon !

Hi, I have had this kind of discharge for years now, I do not have any kind of obvious discomfort. No itching, burning ... though sometimes during intercourse I will feel some pain or burning, I changed the condoms we were using to non-latex and it has helped as far as the burning. Anyway, I went to see my doctor to get a papsmere, after examining me (down there) she said I had alot of discharge and she didnt want to continue with the papsmere, she decided to give me a vaginal cream treatment called TERCONAZOLE- this is used for fungal infections. My doctor explained to me that sometimes after taking antiobiotics we can create fungal infections which 'cause vaginal discharge. I will start the regimen after my period and then the week following that I will get my papsmere. I'm not 100% convinced that it is a funagl infection because I have not gotten my papsmere done yet but my doctor did obtain a culture for the discharge- this will be a little more clarified after the culture result. Anyway, this is just one of the possibilities of what the discharge may be.
When I was young I had the same"problem" with discharge. But it really isn't a problem. If there is not an offensive odor or burning, stinging, itching, or redness associated with the discharge. If there is, it could be a yeast infection, BV, of a urinary tract infection - all of which should be taken care of as soon as possible. Otherwise, YOU ARE FINE.
The vagina is a wonderful thing because she actually self-cleans! The discharge you are experiencing is the stuff your vagina cleaned out of itself which is why it makes sense if it happens a lot after sex (especially if your partner was wearing a latex, colored, an/or flavored condom). It also makes sense if it happens more often with hormone surges (like when you are really stressed.) The pH balance of your vagina is sensitive to changes, so "she" will be affected with any hormone change. Furthermore, when you ovulate, discharge is very likely as your vagina would self-clean to prepare your uterus for the possibility of housing a child. Then, there is the everyday things that you are exposed to (good and bad bacteria is everywhere, including good ones in your body.) Your body is healthy and was created to keep itself balanced and clean, and amazingly and ironically enough, it uses bacteria to maintain health.
While the discharge is normal, remember that if there is burning or an offensive odor as well, get it checked out. Also make sure to clean before and after sex (even if he did not fully penetrate) to avoid yeast infection or recurrent yeast infections (also Bacterial Vaginosis or BV). If you get so caught up in the moment, understandably, at least let your vagina air dry after sex. If he is offended that you cuddle with him with your legs open, he's got a lot to learn about the wonders and heath of the female body. What is more important - your health or his acceptance?
While your vagina is naturally moist, try to not lock moisture. Only wear cotton underwear, avoid really tight clothes, and let your vagina air dry after washing. This is a way to avoid uncomfortable yeast infections (which is an imbalance of bacteria).
Last but not least, the ability to be wet quickly and often is a GIFT that men love, and some females have to buy products to do. So enjoy your body! Others would love to have it :0). You just may have to wear pantiliners, but at least you have them!
