I have had these whitehead bumps for at least 3 years maybe longer, but there are at least 5. Searching the internet has gotten me nowhere. Im not sexually active so i know it cant be an STD. I see that alot pf ppls ObGyn has said nothing about them. Has anyone found a cure to make them go away? Or tried the vagisil like the other posting? Im desperate to get them gone.

white heads are just that--white heads! when pores get clogged from sweat or oil production, they get clogged--and that can happen anywhere on the body. sometimes ingrown hairs occur. don't worry! whether or not you are sexually active, you should always get a PAP smear/HIV test every year no matter what!!!! you should be able to find an orginization that will provide one free whether that's with your state's health dept. or with an organization like planned parenthood. remember--dr. patient confidentiality!!!! your medical health info is your own. if you choose to share that with your parents/guardian, it's your choice. i have found that using an anti-acne body wash or even an anti-acne face wash around the affected area will work in a few days. just like a pimple on your face--if it's infected, it takes awhile to heal and disappear. remember, ladies: you're not dirty from having these symptoms. you just didn't know how to handle the situation! while i'm not a doctor, and i can't diagnose your condition, i am married to an M.D. so i feel like i can share some of my practical knowledge.

It is just a hard white head basically, perfectly normal. As you see alot of people get them. Just a clogged pore.
If it is soft, its a pimple. If it is hard and you cant pop it it is a cyst! DONT FREAK OUT! a cyst is no big deal!!! is almost the exact thing as a pimple! it can go away on its own, but might not. It might even grow, in which case you need to go in to the Dr. Dont worry, they are normal. ALSO its no form of a std/sti. I hope all of this helps! One more note. small white like bumps can be normal. Each labia is unique. If there is oozing, crusting, pussing, then you need to go in to the dr. Also try to wear cotton undies, they absorb more sweat (yes grose but we all sweat) and allow more air. Hope this helps! Have a happy va-jj :-D

Concern. Mine wasnt white when I seen it. It looked like a razpr bump. After some days, i felt discomfort. When I checked it out, It was hard, like something curled in it. When I did squeeze it, white-creamy puss came out. But the size is not little. Everytime I squeeze stuff keeps coming out. I want it to go away. ANY SUGGESTIONS? I did use something that was mixed with menthol and it seems to be pushing out white stuff. I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!
I had one of those too, and I popped it. I used my thumbs and just kept putting pressure on it, white puss came out. It is gone now, I would recommend doing the same (but don't use yours nails, breaking skin could lead to an infection).

Thanks to each of you for your comments. I have the same thing, for about a year, just one and I've been worrying about it. After reading these posts, I feel better and will ask my doctor at my next checkup. I agree that it is not because a person isn't clean. I have gained weight as I've gotten older and I perspire in places that I didn't used to, so I can see now how that could contribute. I'm going to quit worrying about it.

God knows i have tried hot baths then squeezing them to no aval. I have also tried to break the skin with a needle but only it only inflicts pain on the area and still nothing comes out. I have the doctors tommorrow for a rountine smear test and as i have stumpled accross this site and relaized i'm not alone i am going to mention it to the doctor and let you all know what she says :-D

I just had one on my leftish side for the past couple of days...didn't hurt or anything...just annoying when I would accidentally rub it when using the restroom. Today I popped it and it hurt! but it did the same thing...nasty whitish fluid...I will look and see if there are any ingrown hairs....although I don't know why I would have any...I've never shaved down there...I am a virgin and 20 so I didn't think it could be an STD although anything is possible these days I suppose.

I have sort of the same thing. It's white looks like a white head, ive never had sex and i noticed it as soon as i got done masturbating. It doesn't hurt or anything.
Hi! so i have the same little white thing as well, small world....it just appeared a few days ago. i had a faint itch down there and felt it. so i guess i can say it itches once in a while, nothing too bad. but it still has me wondering. Im thinking maybe its because i just recently switched condom brands after a year of being active... what do you think?
The little white bumps aren't anything to be concerned about but have it checked out *just in case* it's something else. But these common whitehead like bumps are normal (so says my Obgyn). She mentioned it's like a small cyst? I believe. I was freaked out when I found one, and I had myself checked 3 times because I was overly paranoid. But each time I har an STD test performed, it came back negative. Best thing every woman should do when you find something is to get it checked out regardless if you're scared or not. I mean if it's something serious, do you really want to let it worsen without medication because you're embarassed or afraid?
