Yes, they area yeast infections. I have gotten them and have had much success with baking soda. Dries it up and seems to heal it quickly. I think it kills the micro-oganisms, which candida or yeast is. They come from too much sugar in the body, from sweets, starches, alcohol etc. The way to get them from coming back is to limit the sugar levels (in big way) in your body. Candida which is a fungus, lives and breeds and needs sugar to be fed. That is why we get major cravings when trying to come off. It lives in both men and women and can really cause havoc in your body.

I have the exact same rash as all of you do, happening right now. It is very painful for me as most of it might be for all of you. I get it atleast 2-3 times a month. It has gotten so bad it is effecting my life and my work. I can hardly move. The medical term for it is: Intertrigo. It is due to the overgrowth of yeast called candida albicans. These yeast do not normally live on the skin so this is considered an infectious process. My mom gave me a hospital strength spray called DERMOPLAST. It is an antiseptic anesthetic antibacterial pain relieving spray that helps with the pain that this rash causes. I have done my research on this rash and the one thing you do not want to do is continue putting alot of creams on it. It just irritates the c**p out of it and just welcomes the rash back. I am going to go talk to my pharmicist and see if she can recomment any powder on it. I will post again when I figure it all out. :'(

:'( I have this same issue. I have tried EVERYTHING recommended on here so far, and NOTHING has worked. While showering tonight, I noticed the new layer of skin just peels off. My dr is completely baffled, its not yeast or fungus, or inflammatory breast cancer...NO idea. But its horribly painful, itchy and just beyond annoying. Im currently trying gold bond medicated powder. Although it hurts like no other when you first apply it, it does seem to be keeping the area dry......I guess we shall see! All i know is, why did I have to be the only girl in my family blessed with these things..... DAMN genetics!!! :'(

i must say, thank all the gods, i thought i was alone. normally i use the same butt cream i concocted for my daughter on the this horrid rash, which is equal part A&D with zinc and bag balm. completely cover the rash then cover the cream with baby powder to help keep the cream in place (the powder shouldn't touch the rash). mine is directly related to crohn's disease. that normally works for me. but this time, it won't go away. please help!

I'm large breasted as well, and usually get rashes under them when I've been outside working. I live in California so it gets rather hot and I'm more prone to them in the summer heat. I found that keeping them dry (once the rash shows up) works. I had some rashes about a week ago and I put some toilet paper against them and went to sleep. I replaced the toilet paper and kept it there for the next day and that night it was all dry and gone. Now when I know I'm going to be doing something that will cause this I just put toilet paper there to avoid the problem in the first place.
I also have pimples...but I haven't yet figured out what to do about that...

I had this same problem and tried all the remedies suggested. Some worked for awhile and then the rash would come back worse! I have found the answer tho with one of the suggestions! I finally remembered to buy some solid deoderant. I bought "Secret Solid" and put it once or twice a day under my breast. The rash has completely cleared up!!! I just wanted to let everybody know. Good luck!

Hi All-
Count me in to this problem. I've tried all of the suggestions here and then some. Every kind of cream imaginable....... prescibed and over the counter, antibiotics, soaps, vinegar, medicated powders, etc............NOTHING works. I am now trying Hydrogen peroxide and Psoriasin Gel...........We'll see what happens. I have no idea what the results will be but I'm giving it a go. I am miserable, worn out and sick and tired of this rash/infection. At least the smelly ooze has cleared.................But it is spreading to my stomach and the other boob..........
If something doesn't give, I don't know what I'll do. I am going on 6 months of this with very little relief.............Uggg! :'(

I absolutely agree with getting into a chlorinate pool! I also have a rash under my breasts, for the second year in a row, and ended up going for a swim last night in my pool and it almost cleared it up! You can get a prescription ointment called Clotrimaderm that helps as well. Get some good bras that completely lift your breasts up so that they aren't touching your upper stomach. Keep the ointment on and dry the area very well after each shower. It's a horrible itch, like nothing I've ever felt before! If you have access to a pool, that's the best cure. The chlorine really helps.

I've had this problem as well for a number of years. I got this one cream from a dermatologist a few years back which did absolutely nothing but leave me feeling wet under my breasts all the time and didn't help my rash. Then I had tried this cream called Dermarest and it's Psoriasis medicated cream. It worked well for me, stung a little when I first put it on but got a felt of relief after and within a couple days it disappears, of course I'd have to put it on everyday to not get rashes. Most times when I remember I use deodorant to keep my breasts from getting rashes, but sometimes even that doesn't help.
So anyway, I went to a grocery store instead of Walmart only to find they didn't have my Dermarest Psoriasis cream, and then I see this product called Psoriasin Gel (the same makers of Prosacea which I also use for my face that I find works great) so I figure since it's made from the same who make Prosacea I figure it probably will work wonders. We will see, I put it on like 12 hours ago and it actually looks like it's going away a little, and it's still DRY under my breasts which is a relief. I just wish they made something that makes it go away FOR GOOD, but that would be too good to be true without using something daily.

Ok, I have nailed it. Everyone please try Psoriasin Gel. I've been using it and I don't even need to put it on daily, maybe every few days. It keeps the rashed area dry even if it's in a skin fold. My rashes under my breasts have gone away and haven't come back so far.. first product that makes me feel that I have nothing on under my breasts, lol.

! :-) HAVE A HEART!! Do not use vinegar under your breasts for this. It will sting VERY BADLY and be horrible. Absolutely it is a yeast infection. It thrives in dark, moist places. What I do as soon as I notice anything is wash in soapy water, rinse well and dry. Then, put a layer of baby powder on it and put a folded washcloth under each breast inside of my bra. Takes a couple of days and ity it heals itself.

Never thought I would google breast rash, but it was nice to find out that I was not the only one. As I read through all of the posting I thought yeast, yeast, yeast what have we all been told about yeast infections. So after another google search, I decided to try a natural solution. If yogurt works on other areas of the body why not under the breast. So I tried it!! cleared up the rash in 2 days. I rubbed yogurt under my breast for about 30 mins than wash it off with warm water dried under breast and a little powder. Now I started putting yogurt in my bath water. No burning, no expensive doctors appointments, Hope this helps someone else. Google benefits of yogurt on your skin.
