The condition is called intertrigo and is caused by fungal infection. Treatment is over rthe counter antifungal cream like miconazole or clotrimazole combined with over the counter 1 % hydrocortisone cream to be applied twice a day till the rash resolves and keep the area clean and dry as much as possible.

I just got this...i wear a non cotton bra but I have been sweaty even tho it is fall and cool outside. Our room is overheated in school. I do overdose on sugar and potatoes. I need to change my diet and go back to being thin. I have fibromyalgia and take a medication for it thatseems to make me hungry and unmotivated. I am seeing my rhumey today to get off this medication.
As to the rash, I realize I had been getting it on my tailbone as I sweat down my back and it drips right down to my tush. That cleared up as i kept it clean. The thing is with the rash under the breast is I had not been keeping it clean enough. I have bursitis in my right should making it hard to wash, thus the rash. I make the effort tp shower each day now and clean and dry under the breasts. It is quite red. The vinegar worked...also the hydrocortizone worked but as soon as I sweat it is back with a vengence....I got the monistat cream and it healed almost immediately. I also took ascidophilus 3x a day. It helps with yeast when you take an antibiotic, so I tried it as well. I just recently *within the last couple of months) took antibiotics and got a vaginal yeast infection, so it was already rampant in my body...eating the way I do to keep my overweight made it last longer.
The problem seems to be large breast which makes me thing we are all big beautiful women for the most part, i could be wrong....but I know I am over weight by 90 lbs and I hate it. Thiis rash is forcing me to change my life and i am kind of glad for it....
Gooos luck to you all and I apologize in advance to the ladies who are thin and big breasted....Having been a 36b my whol life, breing a double D is wicked and hurts my back...Being a size 18 instead of a 8=10 is devastating. This all started when my husband died 9 years ago and I never got over it. He was 37 and he was my heart...tho I am better, I never felt like me again. I am going to throw myself back into life and get off all fibro meds and let God heal me.
God bless you all and thanks for ALL the good advice! You are lifesavers!

Not sure about the pimples prob worth seeing a doctor. I got a scaly rash under my breasts which the doctor said was a sweat rash. I got a low dose hydrocortisone cream made by cannesten to use for a week. Then I had to switch to normal cannesten or talculm powder. Also doctor recommended to take a multivitamin as immune was probably low. Took a while but is now gone. Obviously the key is keeping the area dry and wearing cotton clothing or a bra that is not underwired helps.

I have this issue every now and then and it's because heat gets trapped there and it has no where to go. I notice when I take a shower it gets better and feels better very quickly. Also I like to use about a cup of oatmeal (not blended, whole sized) and wet it enough for it to soak up water and make a ball of it and put it under my boob, hang out with that for about an hour, or sleep with that underneath the boobs and when I wake up, it feels better, and is less red. The oatmeal helps the skin to detox!! Which is why it's all irritated, it's trying to push out toxins and it gets trapped between both fleshes, chest and breast. After, I take a shower and it feels so much better, like it can breathe and I notice the rash goes away in a day. I usually only do one treatment and it fells better.
I was wondering if other girls get this issue, I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one!

Hi there. I get this rash a few times a year, worse in the summer months. I will try some of the natural remedies on here, they sound like good ideas. Was also wondering if anyone has tried deoderant/antiperspirant? Just a thought. Seems like it would be a good preventative measure if there are no side effects anyone can think of...
Thanks for all the feedback ladies.

Have posted earlier. I got this rash had to use a hydrocortisone cannesten cream when really bad then switch to talc or normal cannesten.
Saw the nurse as it came back just mildly and talc no help this time. She said clean the area twice daily and put vaseline on the area and tuck a clean piece of tissue under your bra, works a treat.
I was really embarassed by this but all sorted now.

Hello Ladies - have any of you considered that maybe your problems are "hardware" caused? While I was researching the internet as I am too suffering from irritation, I came across another forum in Canada that has identified a class action law suit against La Senza. The company that owns La Senza is called Limited Brands Inc. that also include brands from Victoria Secret and Bat & Body. Just so happens that the bras I have been wearing are from La Senza, although not the ITEC line which seems to be the one involved in this law suit.
Anyway, just another avenue for you ladies to follow ... here's the link regarding the law suit:

To the person who says getting pimple on the breasts is a form of cancer is very wrong. It's pimple....you can get them anywhere on your body. It's very common.....what a way to scare people to death.

once you get the rash to clear up, I have found that keeping your underarm deodorant under breasts daily helps keep the rash at bay most of the time.

clinical strength dandruff shampoo with selinium sulfide coated under the breasts it burns a little at first . I've had issues with this for years and the last bout was awful i"ve tried everything above and some worked for a little while but it always came back i read an article on it and it said it is sometimes a fungal infection. So per the article i boiled all my bras to kill off any lingering spores. Because sometimes it would be almost gone then come back in full force. then i keep the dandruff shampoo in the shower and use it when ever i shower. I have been rash free for over a month and it has been in the nineties i have 42DD breasts and thought sometimes it would never go away.this works...better than the diaper cream and i'm not staining my bras anymore. i will sometimes use a fungal cream like tinactin just in case ...but this REALLY WORKS
