I also have large boobs, I recommend triple antibiotic to get rid of pain and paper towel folded in half i use bounty. It will suck out the moisture and start to go away. a shower or bath is a good start but this will get rid of it. u can even use triple antibiotic from the dollar store it's all the same. bounty is the strongest paper towel. and you can wear a bra. hold up your boob and put on antibiotic and then after fold paper towel pull up boob and place paper towel under boob and lay boob back down. lol i know it sounds funny but it works and its cheap. hope this helps everyone lu lu ;-) :-D

I appreciate all the entries and will try some of the remedies. This morning I tried using a little of my Grand Daughter's desitin cream for rashes.
I do believe though that wheat products, esp bread....also sugar....and dairy all seem to contribute or even cause not only the rash under my breast but also behind my right ear and now on my neck. It's very difficult to totally cut out all those products. I'm pretty clear now that all this is about candida or too much yeast in my body. I'm concerned too about the possibility of diabetes as my blood sugar was pre-diabetic last time I checked about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Also sometimes skin issues are related to liver issues....I'm going to research this and probably try a cleanse. I have found in the past that when I have been able to eat a very pure diet....it does clear up. I will keep posting results and check in for more from you all!

I too never thought I would see the day when I googled "breast rash"

I thought mine was just a heat rash, that's when I noticed it the most, after walking and sweating. Wearing the tight bras and squishing them together made it even worse.

I'm glad I found this.
I did google Hidradentis Suppurativa and it is nothing like that, thank goodness.
I also googled Inflammatory Breast Cancer and I also have none of those symptoms , again, thank goodness.

I will try some of these remedies mentioned and hope something works. I did start to notice that it gets worse when I wear certain bras with spandex. So back to cotton bras only. I also will use gold powder on them and it has helped some.
Guess I was just really wanting to know for sure what it was.

I am seeing my gyno in april so I will also check with him.

Thanks ladies!

I have the same problem. I have tried all the other stuff. It didn't work all that well. I found that using Desitin removes the smell immediately and clears the rash in a few days.

Hello Ladies,

I've experienced a lot of the same problems as all of you. There is an all natural moisture absorbtion product called Swoobies
that provides relief and healing for irritated breasts. Just go to swoobies.com to learn about them.

I've had this a milion times and been to the doctor about it. It does suck, but is pretty easy to cure. Vinegar works, so does rubbing alcohol. If the skin breaks, try cortizone cream. Powder can prevent it, but can also iritate the rash. I wouldn't use the yeast cream from the drug store, because it's expensive and takes too long to start working. In the future, if you get sweaty, just use some rubbing alcohol under each boob before you hop in the shower. That sould kill any fungus on the surface. Just like other yeast infections, it helps to watch the sweets you eat. I've also found that I can usually prevent it by wearing a white bra that has been bleached in the wash when I know i'm going to sweat.

Lordy, thanks for the internet as I thought I was alone. I have large breasts and noticed the other day a rash under my left breast. I have read everyone's tips, written them down and will head to the drugstore. Thank you people for posting your suggestions.

:'( I just recently developed this problem. It's awful and painful. I tried talc, medicated and not, and it didn't help. I tried wearing a bra at night to "air" out the area. Too uncomfortable. Just plain washing frequently and drying... nope. Mine cleared up last time by....wait for it....moisturizer! I know that sounds crazy, but it worked. I've got it back now, months later. I'm going to try the apple cider vinegar to wash the area. I think that sounds good. The acid should kill anything growing there. Then moisturizing soap and the moisturizer. Hope it works!!!!

I have been the same "size" for many years, as I have had 3 kids raging from 8-14, and was very "busty" as a teen as well. Last summer was the first time I had ever experienced this issue. And it only started after I got a job outside working in the sun. This summer hasn't even technically started, and have only had temps in the mid 70's... I started with baby powder, graduated to Gold Bond Medicated powder, and these helped the first few times... well, this time it is quite sore. and raw. I am sure it is a combination of heat, improper fitting bra, and medications that I take daily. I have noticed for "comfort" I put guaze to keep it dry, and when I am super uncomfortable, I apply neosporin cream to the guaze. this helps comfort when it is cracked and dry, or even raw. and the gauze helps draw the moisture away. I have had someone suggest a non-scented maxipad to draw moisture away, at night. The "sweat-sox" is a great idea, but if you're anything like me, I don't need (let alone want...) added "pushup" to my chest area... You could go to a sporting store and get bra's and clothing that draw moisture away. I personally feel I have more support in a sports bra, and spend the extra money getting the material that helps draw moisture from skin. (unfortunately, they are not cheap, and I don't have one for every day of the week... and working full time, coaching soccer, volleyball, and working on musical performances and having 3 kids and being super active at their school, I do not have time to do laundry every day!) This has helped. And the apple cider... it works... but hurts like he**... Good luck and thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been trying the apple cider vinegar....HURTS LIKE CRAZY....haven't seen any relief yet, but it has only been 2 days of using it! I am going to call my doctor on Monday because this is very painful. The yeast infection cream did not work for me. Not something I would wish on anyone, mine has started to crack and open up and wow does it hurt.
