For a little over a week now I have had similar symptoms. Started out, after an alcoholic beverage, which I was truly having maybe 3 a week, as a knot, like a softball in my stomach, not pain, but just THERE. I could FEEL my stomach, don't know how else to explain it. Finally it went away. I have had this before after a cocktail, and avoided them for 3 or 4 days and that was it. This time it has hung on. I have actually gone about 3 days without it being bad, burping, not more than usual, but none of that rock in my stomach. Then this morning I got up, felt great, had to start work early (work at home), and before I could get going I had a tremendous sensation of another rock in my stomach accompanied by severe hunger and almost nausea. I had piece of toast and peanut butter, drank water and it finally abated. Husband made me an egg and toast and that went down well. This can either happen AFTER eating, OR it will be alleviated with eating. But it does go away, and then I'm fine for the day. I have actually had a couple of days without it at all. I thought, wow, it's gone. I work for a medical transcription company, so as you can imagine, I have self-diagnosed myself. I am almost thinking it might be H pylori. There is gurgling and gas from both ends. No pain, no bleeding anywhere from any orifice, loose stools from time to time, but probably more anxiety than anything else. Husband is afraid I have stomach cancer, but don't have the symptoms of that. I WAS diagnosed with a peptic ulcer in 1990, treated with Pepcid and that was that. I also have been diagnosed with IBS, and like I said I have had these symptoms before, but they never lasted this long. I probably should be checked for H pylori at least and go from there. I want to wait until Feb 1 as that's when my Medicare kicks in and I won't have a copay. Feels good to see other with the same symptoms. I have energy for bicycling and walking and everything. I feel great EXCEPT when this damn knot appears, and I burp it out. How long should I give this before calling the doctor? Thanks for any input.

Many of these complaints are associated with improper digestion cause by low stomach acid. Many doctors misdiagnose as stomach acide being too high but reflux often occurs when stomach acid is low. Try taking a stomach acid and digestive enzyme supplement.

Read a Book called Trick or Treat by Barry groves. Excellent. Tells us how we are all eating wrong.
No grains or low fat foods.
Have a read. Very interesting.

Some digestive aide and probiotics (at least 50 billion a pill 3-4 times a day should help. Your craving for sweets may mean you have Candida which is overgrown yeast in digestive track. I have been fighting this for 7 years. Have had much success with probiotics and digestive aide. Hope this helps

If someone could help me, I'd be eternally grateful. I've searched the web up, down, and sideways, and I've found nothing conclusive to give to my doctor. I'm on a single income, and going to see a gastroenterologist would be the obviously solution, but I can't afford all those tests. I'd rather go in knowing I have something specific and be tested for that. Here is my story.

Back in October 2015, I was hit with daily diarrhea, peeing out your bum diarrhea. I never had any other symptoms what so ever. Didn't matter what I ate: diarrhea. My poor bum become obviously sore but that is not the point. Sometimes, the diarrhea would be semi solid, and often times it would be...shimmery, like mica powder was mixed in it. There would also be a fine coating of either oil or mucus (don't know which) on the toilet water. In January 16', I decided that it must be lactose intolerance and immediately started taking lactaid pills with nearly every meal. For a few days, it worked. When I had a normal BM, I nearly cried with relief. Everything, however, was short lived.

I now (and have for over a month) get extreme gas, pressure (pressure feels centered below my sternum), fullness after eating ANYTHING. One bite, a whole meal, or liquid I get the extreme gas/pressure that WILL NOT go away even with GasX or Beano. And I cannot pass gas. Not being able to pas gas is so excruciating. I will try to lay on my side, anything but no relief. Usually, the pain and pressure is in the same location but as the gas moves, so does the pain. Finally, if I am lucky, I will start to pass small amounts of gas, have a small BM, and feel better. Next morning, I will feel normal again...until I eat. This is not living to me, but a level of hell.

I've searched and searched, but my symptoms are not exact to anything I've reasearched. No IBS, no gallbladder, pancreatitis, Crohns, colitis, diverticulitis...nothing. I still suffer from diarrhea more than usual, but sometimes it feels like I am constipated (maybe because I am unable to pass wind). I'm at my wits end, really.

I'm a very overweight female of 30 years. I also suffer from chronic migraines and daily headaches (have for years, not related) and spondylolisthesis. If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me. It's not gluten intolerance, because I do not have weight loss, the rash, or any of the other symptoms of celiac. I don't want to afford to go to the doctor just to be misdiagnosed with run of the mill symptoms. I'm so miserable :(

Try Oregano.
Dry oregano in a cup with some hot water, sill and drink.

Take out ALL soy. My problems all stemmed from an intolerance to both wheat and soy.

This may be a lot of things going on due to an imbalance in the stomach and gut. Could be gastritis, hypochloridia, candida, sibo infection from PPI's(prilosec), Could be all of the above-I had similar symptoms and had all of these things. Recommend getting tested for Sibo.
