Hi there! Interesting that your anxiety came on after you fell. I had a similar situation! I too get dizziness like crazy right before my period. I have had every test and they don't have a clue what's causing it. I think that I will never know. The good news is that sometimes it's there and sometimes not. I really don't think this one is anxiety it I guess it could be related to Migraine. Did you ever find anything out??

Hi there! I also suffer the exact same thing and I was diagnosed with "migraine associate vertigo" by dr rausch (so?) a Mass Eye and Ear (in Boston. Most of it is diet related, but hormones are a huge trigger as well. The dizziness is awful. And scared, trust me I know. It might be worth looking into. Go to a specialist (ENT) for this, no one else knew what was wrong with me.

Possibly a Vertigo affected Migraine, I had them for years...Vertigo without headache. lots of yawning and itching eyes. See a neurologist and keep a detailed diary of when and what you were doing as well as eating.

My periods last about 7 days and on the 3rd or 4th day I get this excruciating pain in my lower stomach, and it feels as though something is twisting my organs. The pain last about 5minutes then goes away. The city day of my period then here comes the migraine and it last 3 to 4 days. But Doc can't find anything wrong. Anyone else feeling this way? HELP ANGRY MENESTRATIONER.

I am 28 and i have had migraines for 1-3 days after my cycle since i was a teenager. OBGYN says it's due to the static change in estrogen level at that time in the cycle. I take MAXALT perscription medication when/if i feel it starting and it usually works pretty well.

Research PMDD particularly for the mood swings and depression particularly before a period. It was happening to me and my OBGYN put me on a low dose Birth control for about 3 months and it worked I noticed even the headaches stopped. Apparently it is related to some hormonal change and the Birth Control can help to regulate that. Consult your OBGYN about it.

Check out the book magnisium miracle - You may need more magnesium than you've been taking and if you were severely deficient then it may take a while to see results. Chinese medicine and acupuncture can help too. I've been combating migraines for years and am finally getting a handle on them - magnesium has been a huge part of that. I also take fish oils, butterbur, coenzyme Q 10 and a few other things regularly. It's been helping me.

Be sure to let your doctor know about the migraines before prescribing birth control. With some types of migraines, the combination of birth control can put you a greater risk with heart attacks and strokes.

I am a regular runner, and running does not help my headaches.

I always fall sick after my period. What are the causes

My obgyn suggested these type of sinus like headaches are due to water retention so I will ask her whether she can prescribe anything for that.
I used to get worse migraines - taking 2 capsules of flaxseed oil and a supplement SPM-Ok daily (the last one nit during my period) has helped.

I would not recommend taking birth control. I made this mistake because I suffer from these miserable headaches. My OB thought it would help. The first day I took it, I experienced a headache so severe I couldn't even talk. I stuck it out for about 4 more months but the only change was the headaches were WORSE!
