It's pretty annoying. I've been getting these for the past year and they're really irritating. I figured that they were caused by friction since they only appeared after I had walked a lot or had done some activity that rubbed my inner thighs together. They're pretty painful, in my opinion. It makes walking hard because I'm constantly trying to avoid the pain of rubbing against the blister. Trying to pop it just hurts even more, so I usually just wait it out and stick a bandaid and some antibiotic oitment over it when it breaks open.

Guys be careful when popping these. First one I got, I popped it and within about 10 mins it had doubled in size and wouldnt pop again. It quickly got infected and I went to the doctor thinking I had a blood clot or something. She had never seen anything like it. Had to go in for emergency surgery and the way the surgery works means they cant stitch u up after so means many re-trips to the hospital for bandage dressings and packing the wound to let the skin grow around the packing, and then the packing to be pulled out. Very painful, and it takes about 6 months before u are anyway normal again. 2 years on and I still get infections and discharge from the wound. All to pop a small staff infection. Lots of morphine though so at least there is 1 positive.

This sounds like CA-MRSA. My brother has them and they are antibiotic resistant to most antibiotics, which would explain there short disappearance but reemergence within a month.

I have found that taking Lysine helps get rid of the bumps whenever I get them. I take one a day for a week straight.

You have dysfunction of the adductor muscles beneath.

Chronically tight muscles, like sponges, soak up your circulatory fluids. Insofar as these fluids contain impurities, the body will try to excrete these impurities through the skin. Reoccuring pimples are a sure sign of muscle dysfunction beneath (as is abnormal patterning of body hair). Since the pimple is big and nasty, assume the dysfunction beneath is quite serious, at least to your gait and available energy.

The cure is to release the adductors below the pimple. Massage and foam rolling help, but ultimately you will have to strengthen your glutes contralateral to the boil and address rotation in the pelvis. When you have restored alignment and proper circulation to your lower body, these pimples will stop appearing.

Easier said than done, however.

Go to a dr. A part of growing is dealing with things like this. There's nothing your dr hasn't already seen and is more than willing to talk you through. I wouldn't go for years, but I finally learned to suck it up and move on. You'll feel better when you do. It's a big weight off of your shoulders.
