big blood filled bump on my inner thigh

I had one of these develop on the outer side of my left buttock two days ago.  It was about the size of a quarter, very tight and tender, and very warm.  Any contact or pressure applied to it was extremely painful.  Finally, this morning, it had developed enough of a white head that I could pop it.  I did so in the shower and, as everyone else has said, it bled a ton.  It stung like hell, but it was worth it.  After draining as much as I could and relieving the pressure, the warmth immediately disappeared--it actually sent a feeling of coolness through my entire buttock.  It felt so good!  There is still a dark spot where the bump was, but the tenderness and pain are completely gone!  Based on other answers, I guess I expect it to come back soon, but I hope that's not my case.  A thorough hand wash and some antibacterial sanitizer later, I feel like a new man!

i have one of these now and a friend of my Girlfriend(PA) said i need to see a doctor but my appointment isnt for another week i think im going to use the wine bottle method as Ida suggested. I will update in a week after Dr. Appointment.

i have one too, i tried artichoke tea, it helps unclog pores and cleanse your skin. it helps for a little while, i think you would have to drink it more than once a day for it to make a big difference

i have a spot on my left inner thigh, it was small at first several years ago, but the last 2 years it has grown and looks like a nipple thats usually on ur breast, its not full of blood, and doesnt hurt, but worries me, seeing if anyone else has this problem, thx 

So I also have one in my thigh except mine is the size of a golf ball. it hurts to walk, sit, or anything at all, and it won't even pop because it hurts to much I just don't know what to do

i have a boil on my leg that wont go away what can i do?u

im fat I get them to they hurt . I feel nasty af and its gross . how do I fix it . I also get the under my arm and my stomach and on my hinny . ita kinda mix blood and puss . my legs rub my tummy hangs over l have fat arms . I justa had a baby and gain so much wait.

I have one of my inner right leg. It is sore and I squezze the bump and I got yellowish looking stuff that came out of it. It is still swollen I would like to know what it might be and what I can do for it? Will I have more to come on me? Thanks

I got one, not long after I started increasing my workout a ton. By the end I'm just sweating like crazy. No other routine has changed so I assume it would have to be from the sweat(as previously mentioned in a post).I started making sure to shower directly after working out every time. I used to wait for my girlfriend to get home because she wanted to do the abs exercises with me. There was about an hour between the end of my workout and the beginning of the abs. After I pushed my workout up by an hour it gradually started to go away. it isn't gone yet but it is getting smaller quickly. I hope this helps

Mine is in the TOP of the right thigh, about 4 inches down from the leg crease.  It is oval and about two inches wide and three inches long.  About a month ago my husband used one of his lancets to pop it and drained it down to a large pea size (mostly puss and a little blood) but then it started hurting enough that I had him stop.  It came back but as I was traveling with work I didn't do anything about it.  Over the past two weeks it started bruising so I had a purple oval bruise slightly larger than the bump in my leg. (It does not hurt and until it bruised you couldn't see it at all - deep not on top of the skin)

I got home last night and was showing the bump and bruise to my husband so he tried to drain it.  Like everyone else just dark blood came out.  The SCARY part....second or third squeeze a large blood drop shot up on his arm, then several squeezes later it shot up on the edge of his T-shirt sleeve.  When it shot a spray over his shoulder I had him stop, my thought was only artery blood sprays like that....SCARY!!

When I woke up this morning and checked it, it is back to its original size :o(

I get these as well. It usually happens in the summer months and they leave scars of hard round places under the skin. I have been getting them since I was a kid so I know it is not a STD. I thought it was a risen for a long time. I finally found a doctor that told me it is actually a common problem. It is MRSA (staff) on our skin. It can not be cured. When we sweat, our pore open and swallow the staff that is living on our skin. It is not that we are nasty, it is very easy to come in contact with staff and somewhere along the way in our life, we came in contact with it either on a toilet seat or with our hands and scratched down there. At that place on our thighs, it is easy for the staff to settle in our pores and get infected because our legs or pants rub against it which irratates and causes it to get to the size it does. They are very painful. The only thing we can do, sadly, is take antibiotics when they act up and buy HibiClense from Wal-Mart. It is Chlorahexidine. It cleanses staff from our skin so there is less of a chance for it to spread and cause these abseses. It will still happen but you can cut it down alot by using hibiclense daily. i was told by my dr that is was called a "blood cyst" cause by inpurities in the blood..kinda like an risen.. that u have infection in your blood like dead blood cells from after an infection and the body has to find a way to get rid of it..so it pools ususaly in the fatty tissue of the epidermas. the are very painful but harmless..

I have one of these on my scrotum.  I noticed it for the first time today.  It is like a tick with no legs.  It is tiny, like a tick, where it attaches to the scrotum.  Any ideas?

 

 

I just discovered a bump around my inner thigh very close to my private part and it disappeared a couple weeks ago but I found it in the same spot again yesterday. But this time is looks like a nipple, I had MRSA before and I'm hoping I don't have it again. I don't know what I should do. Right now I just have a bandaid over it. The last bump was filled with pus so I tried poking at this new one and it is filled with blood instead of pus so that is what scares me. Anybody know anything?
