You should never let anyone make you feel bad about how any part of your body looks!
There a woman on this thread wishing they had a labia minora and over on another thread there a woman wishing they didn't have great big flaps (there words not mine), just like any body part they are all different in some way on everyone, its what makes us all unique.
It's not so unusual for a girl/woman to have no visible labia minora so try not to worry ☺

I find a minimal inner labia very much to my liking. It gives a clean tidy appearance to the Vulva. Other than the basic purpose of protection from the dirty bad old world by covering and keeping things moist, (back when women had tails) the labia minora serve little purpose, and have minimal involvement in sexual satisfaction. The need for so many to be as common as possible is almost amusing if it were not such a problem for them. You should not feel like a freak. If a man wants to be with you, your hair color will not stop him. PFollow?

Anatomy studies ("Structure and Innervation of the Labia Minora: More Than Minor Skin Folds", by Ginger, et al., 2011) have proven the inner labia are densely innervated (full of nerves), are full of erectile tissue, and are heavily supplied with blood vessels. Beside protecting the delicate inner structures of the vulva, the inner labia engorge with blood during arousal, causing the inner lips to swell and become more sensitive to stimulation. They also have specialized glands that emit additional lubrication. They are attached to the glans of the clitoris and tugging on them thru intercourse helps to stimulate the clitoris to orgasm. Anatomy studies have also proven that women with larger inner labia have about 50% more nerves in their labia. That's 50% greater sexual sensation. More nerves, more sensation, more pleasure.

Engorged inner labia are also thought to act as an "extension" of the vaginal canal during sex, and provide the male partner with more stimulation. Anecdotally, inner labia are thought to provide a bit of 'cushion' for thrusting during sex.

Unfortunately, I now know all this as I had a labia reduction years ago that I now regret. Had I known all this back then, I would not have subjected myself to surgery that took away my normal, sensitive flesh. Now I have no inner lips, no nerves, nothing to touch, nothing to feel, nothing to swell and engorge with blood. Nothing for him to feel, nothing for me to feel him with (the sensation of my lips wrapped around his penis is one I deeply miss). I put form (appearance) over function (how it works and feels) and I made a huge mistake.

I'm lucky in that I was not left with chronic pain like so many women who have undergone labiaplasty have been. I can't imagine having to live with that every day.

I'm tired of hearing the inner labia have no sexual function so it's no big deal to cut them off. That's BS. My sex life was 1000x better when I had my large, full inner lips to add pleasure and sensation, for both me and my partner.

I don't have any either. But to be honest, I'm kinda proud of it. It seems like they could get uncomfortable. And personally, i don't like the way they look. I'm just here to see why... Nevertheless, don't feel any less because of it!! Nothing gets in the way now, right. I'd be alot more self conscious if I had labia.!!

lol even I used to look at porn and think what's with those flaps but now I know! Even I don't have a labia minora that hangs. When I was younger there was a little bit but as I got older I don't even see a trace of labia minora.
