hello, I am a 32 years old female and I have been suffering from buzzing sensation in the head for over 3 months now. I also feel a flickering all over my body ( back, legs, arms) but mostly in the head. I have seen a nuerologist, MRI,MRA,MRV, results are normal. I was also reffered to an ENT because before all these symtoms started 4 months ago I had a nasal congestion and when I tried to blow the mucus out, I became very dizzy, felt like the wall was spinning for a few seconds. Since then I had foggy vision for 2 months. My vision eventually better after a few months but the buzzing sensation in my head has not gone away. feels like its gotten worst because now I also have flickering and pulsing sensation all over my body mostly in my head. I have seen almost all type of specialist but cant seem to find whats causing the problem. The back of my neck has been hurting also and I do hear a sound more like a sizzling sound, not sure if its coming from neck, throat or ear but these feeling are very disturbing. I feel like I had developed anxiety because its been going on for a while now and still cannot rule out whats causing it. Please help if you have an idea, thank you in advance!

THe internet is a great thing, to my amazement its refreshing I'm not the only one with this weird thing. I am constantly checking if my phone is vibrating! After reading this post, I see one thing in common with one of you. I just recently started taking Cymbalta, about 3 weeks give or take, and that is when it started. For now, I'm going to finger that as the reason. I'll monitor it once I switch to Prozac to see if it goes away,, if it does, then bingo!
it seems as if their are some sort of radio waves in the air and our brains pick them up, The thing I want to know is, is it a medical problem or could it be the goverment or something like that behind this.
I am a 67 yr old woman and have had this buzzing for 5-6 yrs. After all the usual tests, no one could provide an answer as to the cause. I can go for weeks without hearing the buzz (eminating from center of head) and then wake up, open my eyes and there it is! One thing I have discovered is the barometer (rising or falling) often brings it on. It's buzzing like crazy right now and we're expecting rain. I also have sinus issues and believe this contributes to the problem. Early on, I read all I could about Tinnitus and some of the recommendations for helping this have helped with the buzzing -- discontinue coffee, limit aspirin. Since doing this, the episodes are more infrequent. Like many of you, while the buzzing is taking place, I get really sleepy, nervous and anxious and this seems to intensify. I always thank my God when it stops.

I had buzzing sens. for almost 4 years. it decreased slowly when i did: lots of esoteric sports like yoga (tibetan and indian), tai chi, kung fu, qui gong, tensegrity and a bit athletic sports. I just kept training (of course, with breaks) even when I felt like the golden a-bomb is exploding in my head. i read now a louise hay book, she says im responsible for my pain. so if thats true, i should be responsible for the cure, too (with Gods help)
I have had buzzing in my head...accompanied by other systems like electrical impulses and rocking sensations. I am currently being seen by a neurologist to see if they can pin point the problem. I have not felt well for a month now.
There is a buzzing sensation associated with Cymbalta withdrawl. It's often called brain shivers. Right now I have a buzzing sensation in my head that is similar, but different as it doesn't radiate down my body and isn't really triggered by motion like the brain shivers were. I am having sinus problems right now.
JR, how did you solve the buzzing problem in your head.
I have the same problem. My neurologist found nothing wrong with me after running a bunch of test. Please let me know if you found a solution. Its very frustrating. I have had the problem for over 2 months now. Nobody knows what is wrong. I went to an herbologist and I am now on an herbal regimen. I will let you know if any improvement happens.
orandum est ut sit mens sana in corpore sanem. this is latin, it means, we must pray, that in a healthy body there is a healthy mind. i quite think i get lost of my buzzing by the help of, you know, God. im not the typical bible freak! why I think, God helped me? (1) because I didnt create the buzzing for my head, so this means, I could not have get it away, by myself, too. (2) before the buzzing i did lots of sports for years, but that didnt matter, i nevertheless got heavily buzzed. so who healed me? was it ... a german Goddess? a friend says, eastern and eastereggs are rooted in a pagant german female-God tradition. Isch dont think so. now i think, i just lost the main dialogue between me and God. I was quite a pagan, i believed in strange esoteric topics. even now i do esoteric sports, that helped me a BIT to get the buzz away. so why am I sure, God helped me and nothing else? i will prove this indirectly: i showed some good attitude to a very poor woman. (now i think, i could help her even more, me egoist, but once the bird has flied away, you cannot reach it anymore!) and after I helped her, very very miraculous things happened to me: for example, she said, God talked into her heart ("email from God") that I should stay away fr. drugs and from friends with drugs. the next days two "friends with drugs" wanted to have a bad influence on me. the poor woman also said, God loves me. I was surprised. I just can say, if he loves me, who did some bad things to living beings, than he must love YOU, buzzpeople, too. so if he loves you, he may heal you, if you ... when I think about my past life, I can remember of several situations when I was offered help by "fate", but because of stupid attitude, i denied, and was without luck and happiness for many years. so if I deny His "email" now, my fate will be bad, you can be sure. so the other miracle was, when I completely lay my fate in Gods hands, (I do that very very scarce) and and I and the poor woman got away from a quite dangerous situation in the subway. (she had no ticket) u may think, my buzzing affected my brain BUT the day the miracle happened, my wallet was empty, no coins, no paper money. so not only the 2 ticket-officers didnt fine us, they just said, ok, you are poor, just go & buy 2 tickets. when I desperately needed money (for the tickets) I opened my wallet and found ... 30Euros in it!!!! You can imagine how surprised I was, that money "materialized" in my wallet. if this small wonder can happen, then you must believe, that your buzzing can have an end, too. God is the greatest doctor, said a super-healer (Bruno Gröning) in the 1950s when he mass-healed sick people... ;-)
Hello! I'm here because just a few hours ago, as I was sitting up to get a drink before heading to bed, I had this heavy buzzing feeling in my head. I started to panic, and it felt like I was going to black out. I'm not sure if the faint feeling came from the panic or the buzz, but it has me worried. I'm just eighteen. It could possibly be related to: me being overweight (5'2" and 205lbs), my having metabolic syndrome (pre-diabetes), anxiety (rare, but sometimes occurs - never like this) or something unrelated. I'm going to discuss it with my mom tomorrow, when she comes by my place, but if any of you have any idea what I should do - or what it could be. Please reply. Thanks, Crystal
Hi Crystal, I have had a buzzing/vibrating in my head on and off for 2 months now. I had surges of what felt like electical currents going to my brain that almost knocked me out. I have seen all kinds of doctors, even neurologist from Barrows Neurological Institute. I have had all kinds of tests and CAT scans done. Every test has come back normal. No doctor has been able to tell me what is going on or really even suggest anything. I know how frightening the feeling of almost blacking out from these sensations can be. I finally saw an herbologist and it was her opinion that I had some kind of parasites. She put me on an herbal regime to get rid of them and I am in my 1st month of a 2 month treatment for it. I am feeling better but still have relapses at times. I'm a 36 year old male and I exercise daily. I did read somewhere that someone with similar symptoms took 1000mg of vitamin C and it helped them. You might try that. I would also suggest vitamin B12. Most everyone with these symptoms say the same thing, that no doctor is able to figure it out. Let me know if you keep having symptoms. Kent
please help
Hi David I am also 19 and have had this problem for about 3 months. I'm glad there is another person my age who shares the same issues as I am
Don't you guys noticed a pattern you all are in your early and late 30's. You all are Jesus Christ. Don't take medecine for it. Fight them back with the same sound or listen to music Heavy metal the buzzing sound will stop with head phone. Experiment on the human mind from people that pray on the weak.
