Can I get pregnant at 48 ?

I conceived at 45. My bloods showed a 1 in 14 risk of downs but I declined further tests and gave birth complication free to a beautiful 8lb 5 ounces girl 12 days past my 46th birthday. No downs either . My baby is 1 next week and a true blessing. I absolutely love being a Mum again ( I have 4 other children age 30, 21, 20 and 16 !

my mother was 48 when she had me after a 16 year age gap ,I was always embarrased about her age and she died when I was 3 .I am now 62 and have 3 grown up children who have never known their grandparents .My health has never been great ,don't know if that is connected .I would think carefully about trying to get pregnant at that age -think I was an 'accident' .I had my last child at 39 and felt that was old enough

Well, goodness sake. This is incredibly rude but everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I am 48 and I have a two-year-old, and an eight-year-old. We had four children in our 20s and never conceived in our 30s. At 40, we were blessed and surprised with the wonderful pregnancy. Our son is eight. We had five miscarriages after him, and then a sweet baby girl on the way at 46. All of our children came without fertility treatments and all naturally. Thankfully, we have been so blessed! I look 35 and I am extremely healthy, as is my husband. My two-year-old snuggling on my lap as I write this, is certainly not concerned with my age. She just loves her mommy. Bless you.

I was told by my doctor it was impossible at 40.well I got pregnant naturally 4 months after leaving her office. I had a beautiful baby girl at 41.no complications. It all depends on your health one takes care of there body. I'm now 48 and would love to have another

im 48 I found true love he's 32 a love is amazing a magic I'm also going with flow eat well take vitamins etc. I got pregnant at 38'so now I'm ready to try at least one baby for my man or twins is fine to. However never give up I don't listen to anyone but my innocent a my soul. Still have periods and healthy never been sick or in hospital. So I'm giving it a shot never know. If happens it's all because of god .
