Naproxen is extremely hard on your stomach lining. This is a really old post but definetly take the Prilosec. Before any other meds then eat something before you take naproxen esp, there is a naproxen EC and this is less harsh on your stomach lining. Hope all is better for you!
Can anyone help please my grandwighter is 10 years old,she was healthy and sporty,then 8 weeks ago she started to say thing's stuck in or throat.then the chest pains started.she's very skinny anyway but in 2 weeks she lost half a stone.she's taking strongest pumps for her age she now can't do length of pool without getting out of breath. She's taking pumps properly. Chest xray clear and heart steady she's waiting for tube in mose to c.and waiting for blood tests.we r so concerne for her health without getting any answers.thankyou
This just started for ame a few days ago. I am a 19 years old male in college. It is such an inconvenience because I am hungry all the time and i experience a burning sensation in my chest whenever I eat or drink something.
I have something similar, it only happens when I swallow liquids, or when I'm just swallowing in general. The pain can also occur when I take a deep breath. The pain is only on the right side of my cheat, and feels like someone is squeezing my lung for about 5 seconds.
My rt side of chest and lower throat hurts badly when I swallow.Pain is constant but worst when swallow drinks or food.Been very painful.

Hi, thank you for writing about this problem.I too am suffering the same problem.It is so painful and it feels so distressing.I too think it's due to dehydration.I have been working long hours in the garden and I have ignored the signs when I got thirsty.I know not to do this because it usually brings on a migraine.But this time, oh! my the pain, the sharp stabbing searing pain in my chest and trying to swallow.I'm now on day 4 and the pain is lessening.I could only drink hot boiled water but I can now manage a plain diet blended into a mush.I too tried lots of antacids with no effect. I am drinking hot water frequently and my symptoms are getting better. I won't ignore my body again because this pain is enormous. Cazzy.
