I am female and only 17. I'm having the same problem only theres no burning or itching so far. I think the fact that I have bowel problems is part of the problem, since I've had Irritable Bowel Syndrome for a year now.
Well, I tried two different colon cleanse programs, on for 6 weeks, and the other for 3 weeks. With both, I took their parasite elimation capsuls, also. My condition is the same as it was before trying these products. I did, however, get a refund of my money for both.
My conclusion is that it is either a tear in the intestinal lining which may heal on it's own (except that there has been no bleeding), or just plane stress. Guess it's time to bring it up again to the doctors.
I sure will be glad if and when I can freely release some gass without concern about leaving a wet spot on my clothing. It's not good to hold back gass on a regular basis.

Well, after several months of monitoring, it appears almost certain it's a milk allergy.
I can be clear of the symptoms for weeks, but then eating just a small amount of pizza, ice cream, pudding, real butter, or etc. the symptoms are back, either that same day, or at least within 2 days. It can take up to a week to be clear of the symptoms again.
Actually, eating cereal with water tastes OK, as long as I mix more than one type of cereal, and add cinnamon sugar, fruit, and a graham cracker with the cereal and water. 8)
Hope this helps others solve their similar symptoms.

Did this ever go away after stopping milk. I have a very similar problem and after all the tests under the sun i was just told i had IBS, which hasnt helped!
a couple of weeks back i had the same problem. i was traveling around the country for a week and was completely fine at the start. on day 3 i felt really ill and had to spent a good while in the toilets and had to remain seated the rest of the night because i felt i would faint if i stood for longer than a minute or so. then that night when i returned to my apartment i passed a fair amount of clear liquid and was very confused as i didn't know what it was or what could have caused it, i wasn't under any stress and i was eating pretty much the same as usual with alcohol intake being about the same too. there were no other symptoms either.
on day 4 it happened again several times but wasn't too bad, then by the evening of day 5 i felt like i needed to go about every half hour, though i could hold it off.
the morning of day 6 was the day i was heading back home again and faced a 6 hour coach drive but luckily it all seemed to just stop.
this was about 2 weeks ago and i have had no problem with it since.

I get this a lot and it is normal for me it is nothing more than getting the sniffles to much. I have sever allergies and a lot of the mucus with sinus drainage goes straight to your stomach. Get enough of it in your sotmach and it can give you an odd feeling in your stomach like when you have eaten to much and are constipated. Always remember what goes in your stomach has to come out in one way or another!

I also had this same problem, and only when traveling. I went on a trip for five days and had this happened every day through the trip. I did not have one normal bowel movement the entire time, just this clear liquid. However, it cleared up the day I got home. I also just recently went out of town for the weekend and it happened. I haven't really been stressed at these times, as they are supposed to be times to have fun. The only connection I can find right now is traveling. I didn't go out of the country or eat/drink anything I normally wouldn't, but my diet consisted of more fried foods, soda and alcohol than normal, and much less dairy than normal. Don't know if this helps.
I am 21, female and from the UK and I went on a trip to Wales for the bank holiday weekend with my boyfriend. After a night of heavy drinking and high consumption of not-very-healthy foods from the past few days, oh and holding in my gas because I'm not at that comfortable stage in my relationship with my boyfriend and his family, I suddenly start getting this diarrhea feeling, first couple of times I went to the loo - I had tiny bits of faeces in the clear discharge, now I have none and after getting home last night and having a good nights rest - I wake up, go to the toilet to see if I can pass faeces normally (because I felt like that's what my bowels were telling me) and all I got was bad gas and even more clear discharge, and then I noticed that it had leaked into my knickers. So I don't even have to be passing wind to have the clear discharge, it just seems to want to come out anyway. I also had SEVERE gut pains, i.e. spasms, etc. (not good when you're trying to drive home and trying to battle fatigue as well as that).
I have no idea if it's the stress of staying in a completely different environment, holding in my gas, the over-consumption of fast food over the past few days and/or something else entirely. Either way, it's getting annoying and embarassing, and at times painful (although the pain isn't as bad today, after a full nights rest).
I do tend to have A LOT of wind compared to others and my doctor said some just pass wind more than others, it's perfectly normal. I usually find a way to pass wind without my boyfriend hearing or when he isn't in earshot (this all probably sounds highly amusing, lol) but when he's around I hold it in, and like yesterday I held it all in because he and all his family were in close proximity as we were staying in their RV. Hmmm...do we think that holding in my gas has caused my guts some irritation and too much bloating to cause a physical injury (i.e. a tear), or could this just be coincidence?
My bowels are bubbling as I type this, it's like it's passing wind internally - so it's not easy for me to pass it off as my guts making the noises when it sounds like I've passed wind. (By the way, in all of this - the whole passing wind things is not my main problem, lol! I am just rambling with that part.)

My last entry was Jan. 17, 2007. Wow! It doesn't seem that long ago.
Since then I have definitely confirmed by experience that my mucus problem is a milk product allergy,
BUT I have found truely cultured-type of cheese like cheddar, colby, etc. doesn't bother me. Thank goodness.
Some cheese is a "manufactured" product of milk and not a cultured milk product. Those do seem to affect me,
just like milk, ice cream, malts and all that good stuff.
It's difficult to avoid general milk products, especially when eating out, since
much food uses whole milk and butter in it's preparation.
And then there are things like cheese cake that are worth the after-effects,
as long as I can stay near home for a few days afterwards. ;-)

R Stressed,
I just wanted to thank you for posting here consistently while you were diagnosing your problems. My issue is similar except it's constant and increases with heat, stress, and movement, but not when passing gas.
My doctors have ruled out crohn's, UC, hemorrhoids, polyps, fissure, fistula, bacteria, parasites. My last doctor said my body just creates too much and she can't do anything about it, and then on the way out she says, "you know it could be IBS, yeah, it's probably ibs", and then showed me the door.
I've went without any milk or gluten for 2 months, but perhaps I wasn't careful enough in reading labels. It's possible I didn't completely avoid milk.
An allergic reaction to some type of food does make sense to me, because of the extra mucus (even though it's clear), but I think it could also possibly be candida. Right now I'm a little bit at a loss. I'm in the military and need to get better as soon as possible or I'm going to be discharged. So I need to figure out what's wrong with me and go with it. Previously I had minor fecal leakage after a bowel movement, but that decreased (but still present), and developed into mucus leakage consistently throughout the day.

Quest,
Remember butter is a milk product, and cake, cookies, French pastry, biscuits, etc. can all contain butter, and some of it has lots of butter in it. Most of the time, toast is served with butter already applied, so I have to order my toast "dry".
Once I got the mucus under control, I have found it easily to identify the culprit when an allergic response flares-up.
With time, I've found which milk containing foods can still be enjoyed. Quantity sometimes is not a factor, and other times it is.
I've also found that a small amount of mucus can actually help the flow of bowel, but too much can be a hinderance.

Folks:
Thanks for your posts and sharing your experiences on the common problem of passing clear odorless clear liquid from the anus. I have had this problem for about 10 years and I think I have narrowed it down to food additives associated with the extension of shelf-life.
I have the symptom after drinking white wine, eating commercial salad in restaurants, pre-packaged pork, pre-packaged turkey, Chinese Food, and I'm sure there are others that I don't remember. 2% Low Fat milk has no affect on me whatsoever. Steak and roast chicken have no impact either. I'm convinced that the problem is food-related. Please let me know what you thoughts are. My Doctor thinks it is food-related as well. Good Luck in trying to stay healthy with the kind of food that is available!

Hello,
I'm sixteen years old and I started having this problem recently. I googled this problem like within 2 days after it first happened and after i read something of the posts I was thought it was food related but didn't know forsure. I recently started using a Tranquility Bath Salts as a subsitute for cocaine. I had been using them for about 3 weeks before i first had this discharging problem. When i googled the side effects of the salts I saw that one of the ones listed was anal discharges. I think that the salts and similar products are the cause of it. Or it could be something that's in the salts, I don't know if anyone here does anything like that, but the salts are supplements, so the ingredients in them are natural and are probably in lots of other products.

do some research on kidney trouble. For this problum i read somthing about two years ago dont remember know it had somthing to do with the kidneys
I'm 16 years old, I've been having trouble with anxiety (affects me in the stomach - makes me need the toilet), stopped going to school and had home education for the last couple of months before my final exams, I'm supposed to be learning to drive in the next couple of months but I find it hard to go far from my home, lately i've been worried about wether i'm going to be able to drive or not, and how i'm going to get self-dependant in the next couple of years, over the last couple of months i've noticed a yellow liquid when I pass stools, not much but I still noticed it, however recently i've had days where I need to use the toilet 4-5 times in a day, but today my stomach has been irritating me all day, twice today i've gona to the toilet thinking I need to pass stools, just to find it's this discharge, this has never happened until today, i'm looking for what could be happening with my stomach and a solution, hopefully without going to the doctors because that will be a real struggle for me, I don't really eat healthily, i'm quite over weight and I stay up until early hours in the morning, any help or advice would be appreciated!
