2 weeks ago I was worried I had signs of prostate cancer, and even had a prostate exam to make sure (my grandad died of it so I may be at a higher risk of it). Crazy experience of worry and awkward pants dropping at the doctors scenario all for what may be down to me giving myself too much dairy.
Its only over the past year or so I've really been getting a strong idea of my lactose intolerance, and only the last 6 months or so I've had the mucus symptoms.
Thanks to this topic I have more of an idea of what things may cause this, so I'll try switching to oj and toast for breakfast over ceral and tea, or at least give lactose free milk a shot before I cut back on my love for a bowl of cereal in the morning.
I am a 67 year old male who had pancreatitis and ended up having my gall bladder removed about 8 months ago, and open heart surgery 3 months ago. The above has been interesting reading for me since my symptoms of clear anal discharge have been very similar and frustrating to me. I also have Benign Prostrate Enlargement which seems to make the discharge problem worse when I attempt to urinate.
1. I seriously doubt that my heart operation has anything to do with this, but I am still taking a number of drugs in connection with that condition. I have talked to my Cardiologist and Cardiac Surgeon about it, but they don't seem to have a clue.
2. Prior to my gall bladder operation, I never had this symptom. My bial ducts were cleaned out at about the same time. I had a colonoscopy about a year and a half ago. I seriously doubt I have parasites after all that. Since that operation, I have had temperory incidents, but recently they have become more common. I thought that perhaps stomach bial was some how causing the discharge.
3. In between clear discharge incidents, I have had periods of constipation, even though I take Metamucil daily.
4. Since my heart operation, I have made significant changes in my diet, which is now plant based about 1/2 the time. I have seriously reduced my intake of meat and cheese and I use almost no dairy productes, while increasing my consumption of beans, broccli, spinich, and other greens.
5. My lower GI gas production gets really wild some times, and this seems to corrolate with the discharge problem.
I would really like to know if this problem is connected with my gall bladder removal, or the pancreatitis.
I've had this problem as well. Not gay, don't eat any milk products, health food fanatic, watch everything I eat (so not food related), etc.. The only thing that makes sense is not being relaxed enough even when you think you are. Reading everything here, it's likely because we are "hyperactive". Producing heavy acids and just "destroying" those foods that come down as liquid feces. Why? Likely our determined and overly active personalities. Taking the world on your shoulders. Even when you think you're completely relaxed, you can't help but process everything as quickly as possible (some kind of stress command). We just have to relax and give body some kind of break as these changes happen.
I have been having a problem with bloody bowel movements and stomach pain since the end of 2010. I have bowel movements about 20+ times a day which prevents me from going a lot of places. I'm only 20 years old and this issue is causing me to go into a state of depression. Recently I begin to have clear liquid bowel movements that feel like the runs. I can not hold them and they also have blood in them. Due to how often I use the restroom the skin around my anal is raw feeling, sensitive and irritable. It scenario itches. Doctors blow me off about the situation. Since the problem started I've been in the hospital over 45 times with liver, kidney, and stomach problems. And left with questions no answers. A few doctors suggest that it may be ulcers (ulcertive colitus) excuse my misspelled words. After my test i hope ill know.
Like the mouth, There are glands to keep it Wet and not dry to protect the flesh from tearing or creating sores.
When the anus has this discharge and has no signs of itching, pain or discomfort it is nothing to worry about.
This can be a sign that the Male has an over stimulated prostate and if he has had sex recently in the past 24 hours or 48 hours that could be a reason of why he has this discharge. Ofcourse sex doesnt have to be an issue for this to occure, everything in your body is constantly moving and its bound to get rubbed so its gonna discharge alot, but 90% of the time the male doesnt notice.
This doesnt apply to some males, as it applys to all males, If you are having large amounts of discharge where you feel you need to go to the washroom, all you should have to do is do the usual routine when in the washroom.
Nothing to be worried about.
