but what i think started the whole thing for me was a big collection of gases.i was riding a plane and my stomach collected alot of gases and it hurt,so when i went to the rest room all i realised was gas i think that major event of gas collected, changed my stomach system.

Hello,

Im 27 and had the same problem since 3 months, every day i had stomach noises and gas at anytime of the day sometimes i could feel strong movements in my stomach, the stool was hard like constipated 3 or 4 times a week. I only register here to tell what the colonoscopy test said and what medicine cured me and hopefully will help you because i know how embarrassing it is.

Its a bacteria that if is not treated it could cause Ulcer so they gave me 2 different antibiotics Klacid 500mg 1 in the morning 1 in the evening with food 7 days and Co-amoxicillin Sandoz 1g, 875mg/125mg 1 in the morning 1 in the evening for 7 days with food and then Agopton 30, 1 in the morning 1 in the evening with the other medicine for 14 days + some bioflorin for the flora.
I have seen 5 doctors in 3 months, and only the colonoscopy could tell exactly what i have, so dont waste your money and time with doctors have a colonoscopy done because you do have a nasty bacteria if your stomach its noisy every day.
Im am very happy i dont have the noises any more and hopefully would make you have a colonoscopy done witch is not so bad except the liquid you have to drink before.

Good luck!
Anna

Hi there:) Do you know that Jesus has all wisdom in the world and He is always there to help us? I had the same problem with my stomach and I asked Jesus to give me wisdom. He led me to the Sparkling Mineral Water in the grocery store. I drink it when I have a meal or just after and my stomach stays quiet. Try it, it works really good for me. :-)

Hey Everyone! I am a fellow frustrated individual with excessive stomach growling. I have been reading all of your blog posts for almost 1.5 years now. I always thought about writing here, but procrastinated since I didn’t find a cure to this problem. So at last, I’ve taken the time out to sit down and update you all on my version of the story. But mine got really long; so just decided to update it on Google Doc. This way I also get to update my post as any new findings come up and you always get the latest version of the story. Here's the link:

Around the same time every day (right after lunch) my stomach starts making noises. NOT simple rumblings or the sounds made when food is digesting, but sort of whining noises. I've tried antacids, they cause nasea. I added more fiber into my diet, got rid of most 'bad foods' took walks in afternoon (how thats supposed to help?) I just started a new job in a cubical and everyone can hear! Its really embarrassing and I try to type loudly when it happens, but its almost constant some days. On bad days when its really loud, i can feel a pressure in my lower abdomen....I'm at my wits end.

Hi, I’ve just searched around the internet for an answer to my problem, and i came across this post.
I have almost the same problem, but by me, i have it any time in the day! My body is making noise just anytime! i t is so embarrassing when i am between other people and it happens, i cannot know when it will happen, it just comes up any time. I went to the doctor and he recommended Gas-X, but this only helps some times, and not too good.
I am about to start a new job in a quite office, and i do not know what i will do! This is almost running my life! I am always afraid when I’m in a quite place maybe my stomach will "start to talk"!!
If anyone has any knowledge whatsoever into this matter please let me know, so i could try to take care of it!
Thank you.

Hey! ME TOO! For quite a long time now I've had the SAME THING!! I had stomach pains too, but I found a type of bread to help those pains go away. It was "Oatmeal bread" But I STILL have problems with the noises! My stomach never takes a rest, and I know you mean when you say it's embarrassing. IT IS! At school it's embarrassing because it will be quite in the room, and then BAM! It starts and I get sooooo embarrassed! I'll have to try Gas-X! I thought about trying it before, but now I think it's a done deal! :D

i have found that drinking atleast 2 litres of water a day has really helped me. i keep a bottle of water with me everywhere i go now.
also, i have started drinking either black decaf coffee or simply water as pure fruit juice was a trigger for me i think. it may sound strange but i have had to cut down on fruit. apples were bad for the Quote:

stomach talking

i think because high in natural sugar. i still allow myself chocolate and stuff, ive just cut down.. oatcakes have been great, a small snack throughout the day, you can get different flavors too. i've heard people saying dont drink and eat at the same time, so i've tried that, i've only done it for a day so can't really see if it works yet lol so if anyone can tell me if it does that would be great:), and any other tips as im going back to school in a week, dreading it, its hell having people either side of you so close you touch and can hear everything. hope this helps somehow :)

Hello to all my buddies with the same problem. I have developed this problem more in my late fifties and getting worse as I watch more for my diet and excercise more. IT is embarrasing when I am in any quiet moment or anywhere is quiet. Actually I noticed that if I am in a movie, and I know a quiet no sound scene is coming is like my stomach starts to get ready to rumble, that makes people on the front row to turn heads. Awful. So thanks for all the advise and next I hear from my doctor I will be happy to share with you. :-( IF somebody has some good advise, please send it this way.

I have the exact same problems as you all do...I have been taking VSL#3 this is Scientific evidence shows that dietary supplementation with probiotics may help restore balance to your body’s natural bacteria especially if it is consumed in adequate amounts.

This has helped me to settle my noises and cramping so i can keep working...It does cost $130 for 1 month supply.

This also happens to me! I'm female,17, and it's ruining everything! I always need to make excuses to my partner so I don't spend infinite times with him. It kills me I hate it. And I have my HSC exams coming up and I'm worried it will disturb everyone in the exam room. I really don't want to be the reason for others' failure because it can be pretty disturbing at times. I've done many test but nothing showed up. And I'm a very dairy person. I love my milk but I don't drink water. Yet again, milk is 97%(or something like that) water (before being pasteurized) and so that's plenty of water. So I'm not sure if it's the water issue or not. I really need a solution. Anyone with suggestions?

PLEASE READ THIS! THIS HAS SOLVED MY INTESTINAL NOISE PROBLEMS.

Hey guys, I understand your suffering. I went through all of that too!
I used to hate it specially in class.
Believe me I had been suffering of this for years and I have finally found something that works for me:

I went to a Gastroenterologist with suspicion that it might be IBS, he did a Colonoscopy to rule out other problems.
after the procedure, he told me my colon was fine, STRESS is the major trigger, followed by not exercising regularly.

The best thing though:

He gave me Hioscyamine (generic name for Symax)which are godsend. And he told me about Align, which are probiotics you take daily.
These two things have changed my life!!!
I also have been drinking Chamomile teas regularly, they seem to soothe my stomach. and I also take this infusion of Macela tea leafs (I found an on-line store that sells it ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed )

The Hioscyamine basically kind of stops my digestive system for a while, I take it first thing in the morning with breakfast. My stomach is completely quiet for hours. I have been eating Penut butter toast with a chamomile tea for breakfast every day. I also have been praying a lot.

Please, go to your doctor and ask him or her to prescribe you Hioscyamine, they will give you relief. My first prescription has 6 refills but he said to go to him if I needed more. It's been a month since he gave me those and I haven't had a problem since then.

Now, it may be a combination of doing all these things that have helped me get better or just the Hioscyamine along with Align that are doing the job. Give it a try!

Bless you all and hope you find a solution like I did.

I am so happy to see that i am not alone in this embarrassing situation . My stomach gets so loud i think the people around me think im passing gas!! it happens all times of the day , no stomach pains, when im full or when i have not ate it doesn't matter. I wanna wear a sign saying '' thats just my stomach''. the growling , rumbling and whining has to stop!!

I am also 26 and really skinny. Same problems. My stomach makes so much noise in class and while I'm studying. It's definitely worse after eating or if I drink coffee. The ONLY thing I've found that works is excercising. My stomach will be making noises and I will go for a run and as soon as I sit down from my run, my stomach is silent. Eating really simple foods seems to work sometimes: when I have something rich and heavy for dinner my stomach will be making noises all night long, but if I eat crackers and cheese for dinner it's pretty quiet. Hope this helps. Other suggestions would be welcome!
