constant urge to urinate and pressure in rectum

Hey guys!
Every symthoms you have described here, I have been suffering from for almost 12 months from now... and I also had to take CIPRO becuz intially my doctor thought that probably i have caught some urinary track infection... now I guess I have kind of hemaroids... thanks to your comments... this saturday I will go for hemaroids examinations!!... by the way, when I take hot bath, I feel relife for sometime...

I have had the urinary s/s for almost 4 years now. I had a cystoscope done then and he saw nothing wrong. He said I had a bladder neck spasm problem and surgery was needed to correct it and even that could not work and leave me infertile. That was 3 years ago and it is still there. I am lucky to get 4 hours of sleep a night. Now the gas and GI stuff is happening which is totally new about 6 months. When i pass gas it feels like urinary pressure is gone. I am so sick of this that I dont know what to do. Oh yeah and the gas is absolutely horrible smelling. I am only 32 and cant remember the last time i put two good nights of sleep together. Anyone ever had a definitive diagnosis?????

Hey guys, check out 'Interstitial Cystitis'. You'll read a lot of stuff about how it only affects women, but don't let it fool you. Men get it too. Mine got really severe and I had it for years. I think it's a long-term stress-related illness. Only thing that has helped me out has been anti-depressants (Effexor specifically). If you get a doctor or urologist that tells you you can't have it, got to a female urologist.

.i have a problem from 11th  july and now is 8th January...........i wanna pee all the time...........i never stop to want............so it effect my life very bad..........................these months i get closed to my house because i don't feel well with the urge to pee .............i can't dance....i can't go trips as i  need to pee every 3 hours because if i don;t do that i feel more and more the urine inside me....................i have gone to many doctors , i have done many many many  tests and i have took many  drugs, but nothing make me well !!!! all the doctors say that my constant urge of pee is psychosomatic.............it has destroied my life.......i am a fourteen years old girl and i  can;t be like the others...alla my friends go everywhere.......but i stay at home as i wanna pee.....the pee don't leave me to relax......................i feel my bladder full all the time :'(

Omg me to I had a bad uti took cipro for 5 days got really bad side effects doctor checked me all results came negative:) now I feel this pressure too pee and my stomach makin lots of noice my left hip been hurting me :( I'm 24 femaly health and doctors can't figure out what's going on :;(

did anyone ever figure this one out?  I am having identical symptoms to the first poster but it started almost 3 years ago, I was then on prilosec for 2 years for reflux and found this actually helped.  Since off the prilosec (reflux is better off of it...go figure) this is coming back full fledged.

It all started after 5 days on cipro, evil fn drug.  I was thinking the same about bacteria imbalance in the colon, but how do you treat taht permanently?

Anyone also get a fluttering feeling around the waistline also, feels like your bowels (or bladder) are fluttering....i cannot tell.  this is driving me crazy though, anyone ever figure out what was going on and how to treat it ?!?!

Amazing, we all have very simlar symptoms, most of us have these symptoms after taking antibiotics but not all. I have had these same problems off and on for 30 yrs. The latest bout started after 20 days of Amox. And is still going strong after 6 weeks. I have started on 8 strain probiotics and cutting out most white food, carbs, from past experience it just takes time but I know stress is a big part of our problem. Canidida is or could be a big part of the problem also. Wish a good smart doctor would get on here and give some suggestions.

Im dealing with the same thing right now.. i have ibs, acid reflux, lactose intolerance, pretty much everything u can name.. ive had colonoscopys and endo scopes due to the fact that my mother passed away from colon cancer.. my question to you all and this is a serious ?.. do u guys masterbate a lot because this could be the cause of a lot of it.. it creates anxiety and many other health problems over time.. im 25 and have been sexually active since 14 way to much and ive been researching alot because recently i have been dealing with this pain from the rectum to my scrotum that makes me feel like i have to urinate or poop but then i dont really have to and is Your guys pain feel kinda like a pulled muscle? I dont wish this upon anyone but im glad i found others dealing with this makes me not feel like im in it alone

dude im 23 this started at 18 for me and has made life living hell if you find anything please tell

dood this is exactly what i have i am 23 and had it for bout 4 years and it seems to have been getting worse with the gas problem....farts seem stuck ....muscle in ass hurts wtf right this is so bad of a problem and these f*****g specialist do nothing i hope theres a reasonable cure soon for us all

I have all these same symptoms... I'm 30 years old... I've been dealing with this for a year... The only thing that gives md temporary relief is pain pills... And it's not like that is a permanant solution... I've seen 3 doctors and was prescribed antibiotics that did not help... This is a curse... Someone please help

i had a urninary tract infection that i took antibiotics for(2007)....antibiotics kill off good bacteria that is needed to properly regulate ur digestive system and my insurance cut of just before i was gna get full tests done ..the constant pressure went away but i never felt the same after i always had seemed like slight pressure behind the penile area before i even had to urinate..after time it got worse and finally i started to get all syptems of ibs(gas feeling stuck in rectum and frequent number two's not fully formed followed by constipation)......feelings of tight muscles in buttoxx and lower back pain for no reason....i also have to tickle lol the buttox after a number two to get the last of the urine out unless i want wet boxxers/underwear...i beleive what started it all was being under diagnosed in the first place back in 07 cuz i never got the full tests done...and some how was initially developing "Interstitial Cystitis" even though im a male...IC is where your organs fight itself due to deformed wall in the bladder and the antibiotics i took actually killed off the good bacteria in my bladder simulatiniously while fighting off the infection....due to my identity being stolen and being robbed 400 in my credit line and paying lawyer fees to get it resolved its been 4 yrs plus and i have only diagnosed myself so you can understand that my stress and anxiety is only making it worse...i have finally purchased health insurance and goin to see a uerologist soon again....this time im ready with everything i belive that is going on writtin down on many notecards...rannging fromt he disorders i believe i have to everyone of my on and off symptoms to my washroom habits....i screwed up my life so bad and its really hard to cope...but in the end it is what it is and with proper diagnosis i must keep faith that the pressure and pain will reside and less of a weak stream and leakage...thank god i dnt have any smell comming from my ass that would be the death of me ...though i have very small poops on ocasion if i eat some bad food that somehow seems to come out way way to early and nearly struggle on the toilet for over 20 min........and now i have small hemmeroids due to the constipation..which is what i believ is causing raw feeling and itchy dry feeling on my anus"sphincter muscle"

so these were the steps
1. urine track infection
2.under diagnosed start of "Interstitial Cystitis"
3.IBS
4.weakening sphincter muscles
5.small hemmereoids


note...this has all been self diagnosed from pains and symptoms that i have that are 100 percent not mental...i am a very inteligent strong person but this sh*t must stop...besides the hemmeroids cuz i just went to the gaserologist first and he found those...now i am about to go to the uerologist the 2nd time in 6yrs and finally get real test which must be done is full.....wish me luck or at least pray lol
