I'm 14 and when I started a year ago, I realised I shot up almost double as fast with growth and other. think of the things that will happen in puberty and when u lift weights with correct form all the things that happen in puberty come about 3 to 4 times farster and your hearing this from past experiences, don't worry about this bullcrap, it strenthes u and your bones plus gives the benefits of growth faster

Lifting weights will not make you grow faster or more during any stage of puberty any more than a good diet and regular exercise will and it certainly won't strengthen bones if anything it will have the opposite affect you need a good source of calcium in your diet to produce strong bones!

Yes, I have been experienced this it affects your growth as if you are a teenager you should avoid weight lifting. You should at this point of your age try exercise which avoids weights You should go for cardio which will give you more effective results.

If anyone is looking for weight lifting in the teenage age approx 13-14 then i would suggest you that do not try or go for weight lifting it may affect on your height growth.

You are not tall unless you are 6’4” or taller. 6’2” is just a normal height with being 3 inches over the male average. Every short buff trainer will tell you lifting doesn’t stunt your growth. Every older tall guy over 6’4” will tell you to not lift until you are at the height you want to be. Swimming, biking, calisthenics, yoga, sports, are what you should focus on if you want to work out while you grow........so it’s up to you. Listen to the small buff trainer who tells you it doesn’t matter or listen to all of the tall guys that tell you to wait. ;-)
