My daughter is 15 years old and she was having periods regular until she had 1st shots and she haven't had her period for 2 months. She is not sexually active. I wish the doctors would of said something about this
I was happy because i thought i was finally getting my period. Nope. Stopped the next day. It is now the 27th of December and im supposed to be on my period. I have the symptoms; cramping, sensitive breasts but nothing. My next shot is in February but reading your comments, i think im not going to get it. I should also add im a virgin.
On one hand,I keep thinking 'I already came this far and got the shot, might as well finish it.' I might have overreacted when I saw other people's comments on the shot. Everyone has said that they were 3 months late etc but I was only 1 day late. We all have different bodies so I might have not been affected as much as some people.
But another part of me doesn't want it because the shot screwed my cycle up. I feel different because i'm constantly worrying if i will ever get back to normal. It might sound weird, but i loved my heavy periods. now i feel scared and unsure. will this always happen? will i spot in-between? these never happened before the shot.
Will update again.
My gyn basically begged me to finish out my gardisil injections...I got the 2nd shot 2 weeks ago and now I'm 3 days late with no signs of it coming (not sexually active at the moment so no chance of pregnancy) however I was supposed to have an iud inserted and now I can't because my period is late and I have no clue when it's coming (you have to be on your period to have it inserted) this basically screwed up all my plans I should have went with my first mind and not gotten the vaccine...not to mention I've had a rather large very painful knot at the injection site for 2 weeks
