Thank you Georgia and Ben. Milli I know people who are on like 80mgs. Seems to me they are going to keep raising it becouse you said you wanted to be on it for life. So I slept GREAT and woke up with hot and colds, but not that bad. I have yet to take a second dose and wd's are minimium. I also want to place my order for more becouse the store I went to had only one kind, and was expensive and far. I am in a good place mentally and am just so happy to have found this. I'm going to go back through the thread to try and figure out what and where to order. I will keep everyone posted. Georgia did not go back to work. I slept alot. Thank you all!!!!

Georgia this doesn't seem possible don't get me wrong I don't feel great, but I don't feel wd's. I feel skinny and unhealthy a lil beat up. I did not get the heavy depression that is the worst for me. Cravings are not bad i'm almost repulsed with the drug. Everything turned last night when I took the right amount of Kratom for me. Is this going to bite me in the long run. If I run out of Kratom will I go into full blown wd? I dosed 1/4 of the total amount I took yesterday ate a piece of pizza and feel fine. Georgia I don't know that I could have stuck it out. I feel like this is to good to be true.

Hey Purrrpill,
I am so glad you are feeling better! That is what Kratom did for me as well, it was like I had a bad cold, nothing more, I was amazed. I kept up Kratom for about 7 days, as I went into PAWS, had some real bad days there for awhile. But each day I spaced out the time I was taking it. first couple of days was every 5 or 6 hours, then next few days was every 8-10 hours. I did this up until I was taking once a day, just to make sure there was no WD relapse. If you just stop, you will most likely have some of the WD come back, as it is going to take some time for your body to get over it, but it will not be as bad as it first was.

By "it" below I mean the H. From all I have read on Kratom, is that for most people it is not addictive, but if it is, it is NOTHING, like what you are going through now to get off it, and it takes months of hard use to get addicted. Go check out kratomassociation.org for the whole story on this tree.

Now, before you do that, I got one more song for you, go to Youtube and search for 7cYRs2SReps
"JJ Grey & Mofro - The Sun Is Shining Down"

I am not a very religious person, but cannot help but shout this out when I listen to this song, and now a'days with tears in my eyes :-)
"Glory Glory Hallelujah! The sun is shining, shining down!
Glory Glory Hallelujah! I'm alive, and I'm feeling lord, feeling fine!
and the world lord, the world is doing fine..."

That makes sense. I took about half the amount today and I'm just tired. How are you Georgia?

This is really beautiful!! Also Georgia I meant to say I'm sorry about your brother. That was a really touching story about the Chicago airport. One that I'll prob never forget, and I just didn't feel right not addressing you about him at all. Not sure sorry is the right thing to say. I thank you for the new song. I thank you for putting your story up to begin with. You have given me strength, hope, and comfort both through your words and advice. I made it another day!!!! And I will be sleeping tonight!!!

You don't know how happy I am for you! You are still not out of the woods, but you have made it a LONG way!
with my experience in Kratom, the powdered leaf is the best way to go. It really taste bad, but you get use to it. (I mean bad) Some folks mix it in fruit juice, some with yogurt, I just put half a tea spoon under my tongue and take a sip of fruit juice, swish it around and swallow. (be careful as it is a powder, so if you breath in or out it will go every where.)
The strains are Meng Da and any of the Green type, Bali or Indo.
4 oz is enough for a month (for me) at about 2 teaspoons a day.
I would say get a sample pack, that will have several different strains and see what works for you. As far as vendors go, I have had good results from these two below and the prices are fair.
KratomConnoisseur.com
and
organickratom.com
They do offer "enhanced" stuff as well, I found that to be hit or miss, some is good, some I cannot tell the difference from the powdered kind.

Thank you, Purrrpill, I wish I had known about this plant back then, maybe things would be different today, or not, I don't know...he was very troubled.

You rest easy tonight and tomorrow Keep on keeping on!

I wish you all success and to come off the methadone or the drug their onto. But what makes u so sure that you will be a normal person, function normall without any pill. I mean,if u were for years on a drug that damaged your brain, and u were in another world without the pain cause people start using drugs cause they have familiy problems, mostly),or some other. How will u deal with the problems now when u are sober ?

You will not anymore take drugs to feel better,You will have ti deal with your life problems and period ! No exuses anymore!!

Can you do that ? Can you handle that without a pilll ? Can you !?! That's real thing you should question yourself ! Life is a battle ,a hard one..when you were born the first thing u had to do is to cry and fight for oxygen. LIFE IS A LIFETIME BATTLE! You make something of your life to have a job the cursed money,or you DON'T. It's up to you, only you.

Miligram, Life is a battle and so is this addiction, but it's a battle I chose to win. Of coarse anytime something goes wrong I'm gnna want to run to dope or pills, but that is not the life I want. Exactly I will have to deal with everything I been running from and whatever else gets thrown my way. Well bring it on. I don't want to run from things I can't escape. For me it's now or never i been messing around to long. It is possible it is a test of my strength. And yes I truely believe when this is a distant memory I will be able to deal with every and anything without a drug that only holds the promise of a life of misery.

And I don't know the future, but I can sure as heck try with everything left in me to live a drug free life. Nothing good in life comes easy.
