i am only 12 and i weigh 92lbs and i am 5 foot 2. everything you siad never worked for me much either so my solution is to have 1 meal per day and you will be loosing weight in no time

hey u know u gotta be true to ur self stop eating fatty foods it will help eat ur fav fruits or blend them into a nic esmoothie :) hope this helps:)

Hey don't worry about it! But, if it is really that bad and you really want to do something the drink plenty of water and exercise for 10-30 minutes a day and in about 2-3 weeks you will probably notice a difference. I'm nearly 13 and i'm 114 lbs. Btw, sit-ups are great and help you loose fat! Good Luck! :-|

I get where your coming from...I am also 12 and weigh 74 pounds, I suggest cutting out any kind of unhealthy junk food. Run alot, umm drink LOTS of water and you should be fine.

I completly understand what you are going through. i weigh 132lbs and am a little uncomfortable with that.we all find somthing imperfect about ourselves, as we get into our teen years, but God loves us all no matter what we look like. even thought i dont like the way i look, i still have plenty of freinds and making more! some easy ways to exercise are: taking your dog for a walk, jumprope while watching tv,go to the mall with a freind. thanks

I dont have the same problen in 12 and i was 111 pounds and compared to all my friends that big. But now i have lost about 20 pounds in 3 months.

First off you dont want to lose weight to fast its not heathy for your diet

Drink lots of water and eat fruits and vegtables

AND LAST IF SOMEBODY IS MEAN TO YOU THEY ARE JUST INSACURE ABOUT THEMSELEVES STAND UP FOR YOURSELF DONT BE AFRAID TO SHOW WHO YOU REALLY ARE ITS NOT WORTH IT.

Well thats good that you're playing 3 sports all at once. Its good exercise. So, why don't you balance that with watching what you eat. For example, eating fruits and vegetables and drinking a lot of water. Also try to eliminate soda and juices. Try to eat smaller portions than usually. Whille your doing all of that give it a little time and I pretty sure you will loose weight. You just have to have patience.

I kinda have the same problem  i'm a little over-weight but i'm not fat, and when people see me they don't think I'm fat or chubby. I also am 12 years old and weight 138pounds or 63kg,  but I don't look that fat since I'm really tall for my age (165cm) and have a big built since both my parents are quite tall and big-built and are athlethes, so if your fat and someone else in your family is/was fat, then u might have got their genetics, when means u might have inherited it from them.

You first of all need to be determined to lose weight, and keep trying, but that doesn't mean starve yourself to death and do some super hard, strenous exercise routine each day. Second of all, don't get put down or bullied by others, be confident with who u are and keep saying ur beautiful no matter what, and anyway beauty in the inside matters more than beauty in the outside. Also, when people say rude comments about your weight, just try to ignore them the best u can (even if it really hurts deep down) and take it as a challenge, and say to yourself u have to prove them wrong.

This is what I suggest:

- If u do take junk food, don't completely shut all junk food and only eat vegies, just limit your junk food and only take them once in a while. Also a good idea that works is that plan to do a exercise routine (let's say 15min of sit-ups, crunches, jumping jacks etc. and 45 min of walking and running) then at the end give yourself a small treat, it really works since it helps keep u motivated, knowing their's a small treat for you at the end, but make sure it isn't something really fatenning, since you don't want to regain all those calories and weight that you just loss!

-Also keep exercising, don't exercise for a week then stop, u need to keep on continuing, even after you lose weight u need to keep on doing exercise, not only to lose weight but to be healthy!

-Also do sports! its a fun way of losing weight, and if u really love sports, u won't even be noticing that your actually exercising! ignore if people make fun of you for doing sports, show them u can do sports. and some people will even appreciate you for making an effort. Even if your terrible at sports, keep practicing and you'll eventually be so much better after u practice, and if you don't like sports that much, try dancing and take dance classes! dancing is another super way of losing weight, and if your really good, dance can be a way of show-casing your performing talent!

 

-Don't do some hard diet, just make minor adjustments to your diet and tell ur parent/s or guardian ur plan, I'm sure they'll support u and u can even tell ur mom to try cooking some delicious, less fatenning meals for the whole family. Healthy food can be delicious!Also drink loads of water! since it cleans out any toxins (bad stuff) from ur body, and helps in digesting food.

 

so yeah also follow some other suggestions, other people suggested, their really good as well! take this advice from another 12 year old girl, who is quite mature for her age, but is other wise just like u! and actually knows what ur going thro!

and if u have real good friends, that u can relly on no matter what, tell them ur plan and they can try to help 2!

i have the same prob so ur not alone im 12 i used to wiegh 1 40now i wiegh 127 and im short i get teased i am also a guy so all i do is skate play football then to cool me off  and go home get a goodnights rest................ and dont be ashammed be proud i think like bone skinny people are kinda gross

well i am 12 i used to b humungus but i started dancing and i have lost over 1 1/2 stone so that worked for me trust me no one will laugh if they do they aint ur real friends

im am the same way i am 12 and i need to lose weight i am 152 pounds and all my friends are bulling me about my weight and i dont like it i dont have any friends because of it they even told me if i lost weight i could be there friends so i went to the docter and my mom ask her what i could do she said workout well i did for about 3 months and i only lose 3 pounds so then i was driking water NOTHING!!and i really want to lose it i never went to hang out with my boy friend because of it and he broke up with me :(!!!!CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!my parents dont have the money to do a sport!!:(please help me!!!

Victoria...your cry for help did not fall on deaf ears! First of all let me tell you that YOU MATTER and don't you ever forget that. I was bullied my entire school age years, and I don't care what people say WORDS DO HURT. I would like to help you with your transformation if I may. I want to ask for your permission first. Too many adults these days don't allow kids the time to be heard...I am not one of those adults. I know how you feel and I can help you without any special diets or pills which is WAY out of the question at your age. I know, because I myself lost 50 pounds all on my own. I hope to hear from you, and next time those bullies mess with you...You tell them "I'm busy right now, can I ignore you later?" I bet you they will have to stop and think about the question because they are too stupid to know what common sense is. And that is that Bullying is NEVER OK!
I am on your side here honey...They will NOT affect you if you choose not to let them have that power over you. And I know that is so easy to say but so very hard to do especially in school. But I really hope I can help change that for you.
