Ya, I'm 13 and around 120-125 lbs. I really want you lose weight but am not getting anywhere. My New Years resolution was to eat healthy and I'm eating a little better but I definitely need to minimize my portion sizes and exercise everyday. I just don't know how to tell/ask my mom that I want to lose weight. I know she will give a really long talk about how I'm perfect just the way I am. Let's just say I'm not looking forward to going swimming. Hopefully, 2 months is enough time to shed a few pounds! And I'm sorry to all girls on this page right now, and remember to never change who you are!

I'm just trying to research on how to lose weight so I can make weight for my wrestling tournament in Reno . I'm also a 13 year old girl and I weigh 111 and I need to be 106-108. I have 5 days to lose 3lbs. To lose weight you need to push yourself hard and eat a good diet (less then 1,200 calories a day) but I'm running out of time so I'm going to start fasting. And damm you girls are skinny. I'm 5'6 tho and 1% of my body is fat so idk how I'm gonna lose anymore weight I need help

Hi, I am the same age as you. Last time i checked I weigh about 146 lbs, I'm not sure if that is overweight for my height (I am almost 5'7) but i can't help and feel fat. My brother doesn't make it easy always teasing me, and my mom can't really afford all the healthy foods i need. What do you do to keep confident and not let people get to you?

Hey, I'm 13.. I weigh 115 pounds you do not need to lose weight but walking,jogging, and track helps.. Try some intense ab workouts!! Good luck my dude!

I'm 13 and I'm around the same weight.. My Mom does the same thing, she thinks I'm obssesed with trying to lose weight. Just start eating lots of fruits and Vegetables.. Drink TONS of water. And you can eat the same amount but put them in smaller more frequent meals.. it'll raise your metabolism! Good luck! I'm on the same journey..

No. That is not overweight. It depends on if you do sports and are muscular. I am 13 and i used to weigh 165 pounds but now i weigh 150 and lost a total of 15 pounds. You might not lose as much weight as you want because when you work out you gain muscle. i don't think you need a clinic but if you want to shed some pounds just eat very healthy and work out everyday. Some peoples bodies are different like some peoples bodies shed calories faster or dont gain weight but others are different. Just be yourself and dont listen to what other people say, be you! Well, you are at a very healthy weight now and it is unhealthy for you to lose more weight. It is good to stay at your weigjt now ans juat keep being active and doing sports

HI! I am in the Club of the 13 year olds and I am 133 pounds. I have problems shredding weight to but this is natural. Right now we teens are in this stage where our body does not use any calories for growing upward because around 13 yrs old is when the end of our first growth spurt is. Almost everybody my age has gained a bit of weight after they turned 13. This is Completely normal and something you should not worry about. But if you really want to lose weight
, then be happy and be active. A body at rest will stay at rest
, but a body in motion will stay in motion.

Hi, I'm a 13 year old girl and I weigh 115 lbs. When you exercise a lot like you do and play sports, it will make it so you create lots of muscle. When you have lots of muscle it makes you look bigger than you really are. So, I definitely wouldn't recommend any more sports. I would try to eat LOTS of fruits and vegetables, no junk, and drink lots of water!

Hey, I'm 13 ands girl, I am 112lbs. I feel like I'm fat all the time because all of my friends are like 90-100lbs. I've been looking for a safe way to loose some Weight. I do 3-4 mile runs everyday and I go on little runs around my neighborhood but none of that seems to help. I am known for the fastest times for 400 meter runs for track Andrew fastest time for 100 meter. Not even track help and me. If any of you girls know what can help me please reply. I also have slowed down on snack foods such as chips, crackers, etc. But that doesn't help.

Was 47 lbs a typo? If you are 13 and weigh 47 lbs, you need medical help right away. It is very unhealthy to wright 47 lbs when you are 13 years old.
