I need an efffective treatment for face dandruff. Does anyone know? I saw a dermatologist ten or so years ago, and was told there was no cure or treatment at that time. It's disgusting and embarassing. I don't have it on my scalp, but only on my face. I am in peri-menapause. :-( My skin seems to build up a tolerance to whatever peel I am currently trying, like a callus effect. Also, almost all the sebum glands are inactive. Thanks!

I don't know if what you have is the same as I did but my dermatologist told me I should wash my face every other day with normal head and shoulders shampoo. My skin rash/dandruff has gone away.

i tried head and shoulders but it hurts my skin. it removes dandruff but after that my skin was very irritated...
my derma told me to use use efficort(hydocortisone aceponate) to remove the rash and dandruff,
and use oilatum bar to wash my face.
now i use oilatum bar or other moisturizers and dandruff never return
its very effective.

I tried a whole bunch of soaps and even used this really serious topical medication that my doctor prescribed. Nothing worked and in fact usually made it worse. The ONLY thing that works for me is those pre-soaped facial sheets that you can buy that the store. They seem to have the perfect combination of abrasivness and mild soap. My dandruff is gone in a few days and it's not painful at all. I have to use it everyday until all signs of the dandruff is gone, but it's amazing!

hI I FINALLY FOUND SOMETHING THAT WORKS,. T/SAL BY NEUTROGENA . iTS A SHAMPOO BUT I USE IT FOR MY FACE. WITHING 2 DAYS MY FACE WQAS COMPLETELY CLEARED. :)
