If your 5'6, 110 is underweight. I am the same height and weight as you, and im 14. My goal is 130. I try exercissing and eating 1150-1300 calories a day. Just look up aerobics exercises, and try to go on walks(think of the walks as sight seeing it helps) . Keep it fun, switch up your routine. Dont eat junk food after your exercise. Eat fruits, fats(healthy ones), veggies, and protien. Eat a big breakfast, a bit smaller lunch, and a small dinner. Try not to be too hard on yourself, self hate is a scary and lonely place that will make you cry at 5:30 in the afternoon and lie to your doctor when she asks you how your moods have been doing.

If you want to lose weight trust me I know want that feels like. You need a hormone on your side called leptin. Leptin is an either fat loss or fat gaining hormone, if you get it on the fat loss side it makes weight loss a hell of a lot easier, keep in mind that dieting can lower leptin levels which can make weight loss really hard. Make sure u have at least on cheat day ( eat your favourite foods) every week. After this the next leptin levels will again begin to decrease so add an extra 10-20 Gra s of carbohydrates.

Good Luck Bud

Hi I am in your same situation I am 14, 170 and want to be 120. I've been gaining a lot of weight, like 50 pounds, over just one year. It has taken me months but finally I have started eating better, before I ate like six meals a day. First what I did was almost completely cut out carbs for a few days. No bread, no pasta, and no healthier types of bread or pasta either cause they're still not good. I made smaller meals, but I made sure they were mostly protein because it fills you up more and gives you energy. I also ate a lot less cheese, corn, and potatoes. I didn't start with super small meals start by gradually making them smaller and stop at a good place. For me it's about half what I used to eat. Once you stop you can eat very thin slices of bread for sandwiches, and brown rice pasta which tastes just like regular but is healthier in small portions. Don't eat any more cheese though only a little each day. You should have a homemade smoothie for breakfast each day or eggs and a piece of fruit. Also once you stop at a good meal size start counting your calories. I have a very slow metabolism so I am only eating 1000 a day but the lowest most people should go is 1200. Also drink 2-3 cups of iced green tea a day. And if you want to sweeten tea or smoothie use honey not sugar. That's how I lost the first three pounds in a week now it's becoming harder but I think it's because I started eating too much again and stopped drinking tea on accident. Also try to exercise as much as you can but i hate exercise so I don't do it much even though I try

Make sure you are at a safe weight. If you lose too much, and become underweight, it can be dangerous. I don't know how much weight you want to lose, but the basic are eat healthy and exercise, which I bet you already do as a 98 pound cheerleader. Consider drinking more water. It flushes out the body and gets rid of toxins which helps you lose weight. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF. Might seem like a good idea, but is extremely unsafe. And it puts your body in starvation mode, which makes it harder to lose weight and you gain it back right away. Do not try it. Make sure you are safe about it. Do not endanger your health.
