Perhaps you are holding back because the new feeling scares you a bit. I would suggest a small vibrator with multiple speeds to use on your clitoris. I think the reason you don't climax is because your not relaxing your tightening your muscles too much down there and when you masturbate you need to relax and take your time don't rush . And if you masturbate on your bed maybe your scared to get your cum on the bed so my advice is to keep masturbating on your bed so you can tell if you actually cum because masturbating in the shower/bath can make you not realize if you have climaxed or not.
