Hello I wanted to see if you ever got the plan?

I just started this diet today. A co-worker of mine has used it thru one cycle and lost seven pounds in the 11 days so I thought I'd try it.

The reason no one can share the "book" with you is that it's an online generator. You have to go on the site, log in, select the foods you'd like to eat and then it will give you an 11 day menu. Someone could post their menu but if it has something you don't like on there then you're not going to be able to use it. Plus it's really really long with even more pages for rules.

I'll give you my day 1 menu so you'll see what I got:

Breakfast: oatmal, boiled egg(s), cheese slice(s)
Lunch: tuna salad on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes, apple(s), non fat milk
Snack: ham slices, chicken
Dinner: tuna salad on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes, turkey slices, bowl of green and/or red vegetables

You can eat the meals they give you in any order (so for those getting a meal of peanuts, you could just eat that as your snack for the day and use one of the other meals as your dinner).

You also don't have to eat every item listed. For example, I didn't eat the cheese slice this morning.

I also went to the website I use to track my calories/fat/carbs/protein and it was just the right amount of calories, carbs (a little on the low side) and protein.

I have a feeling this is going to work. I don't think it's a long term solution but I think it will be good for a jump start to losing some weight.

I am a working mother. I just recently had my second child and gained a lot of weight on top of the weight I never really lost from my first pregnancy. I really need to lose weight but I'm not good at following diets. I am very active since I have an active job and a daughter in karate and soccer but for some reason I can never drop the weight. I think my biggest problem is that I skip too many meals because I just don't have the time. I'm just now reading about this fat loss 4 idiots and am intrigued. I know this diet has been out there for some time now so I'm hoping for some real comments about how it's going for those who have tried it. I have read many posts stating that they will try it and post their results but have not come accross any posts from them stating one way or another. I am also interested in knowing if anyone has tried it, been successful but as soon as they got off of it...what happened? Please help me, I want to be a healthier weight to keep up with my 2 kids. And for the previous guest who stated to eat less, exercise more... that doesn't always work!

I hear what you're saying "workingmom"...I followed this diet faithfully about a year ago. I wanted to loose 20 lbs but NOT look unhealthy doing it and it worked beautifully...for me. I don't think there's any diet that will work for all of the people all of the time. My favorite meal on my plan was the one that called for Turkey. I would buy ground turkey and brown it with onions and spices. It was very simple, but filling. I got off the diet after I reached my weight loss goal and although my weight fluctuated give or take 5 lbs over the last year, it remained pretty steady until a few months ago when I learned I was pregnant. I will DEFINATELY be back on this diet once I have the baby which by the way is my 2nd.

For the dissenters on here who feel that there is no way this diet could be real...I beg to differ. I don't know how or why this program doesn't have more PUBLIC recognition, but my results combined with the group of 4 friends who stuck it out with me last year tell me that there's something right about it. (By the way, 20lbs was a lot of weight for me since I only weighed 140 when I started the diet. I just wanted to get back to pre-baby size.)
