Hello, I have been having really bad headaches for about 10 years... lately too many sinus infections and finally, a month ago i started feeling so sick, flu symptoms, headache, neck pain, pressure and pain in my ears, my head feels like its being crushed with a clamp, i also have pain in my back(spine) has anybody felt that? i had chills from my head to my back and low fever,,,, after antibiotics and ibuprofen for about 2 weeks i was feeling better, but i had still some congestion.... Now all the symptoms are back, the doc says i have to see an oral surgeon, but its been difficult finding someone that will treat me like a human being, without having insurance.... i hope i can solve this soon.

Hi! I have been really worried lately, thinking I have oral cancer. I have what feels like a soft, rubbery inflamed lymph node on one side of my neck and ear pain on that side as well. It has started to get sore when I swallow. Slight headaches as well. I'm only twenty and my wisdom teeth are coming in. I have no health insurance. Also, one of my molars chipped on the side where I suspect my wisdom tooth is impacted. Is there anything I can do to deal with these symptoms until I get health insurance? Please reply. This has been worrying me for ages. Thanks!

I have been having extreme pain in my neck and molars as well. Last time I went to the dentist they told me I would need to have my wisdom teeth taken out but after that visit alot happened and I lost my insurance and couldn't afford to pay for the surgery. So over the months some of my wisdom teeth came in and on the lower right side the wisdom tooth that came in became infected and has been causing me severe pain and a weird taste comes out from it like a gross salty taste. On my lower left side the wisdom tooth started coming up under one of my molars but didn't fully come through so I assume it is impacted and recently it has started to hurt more. So now the left side of my neck has become swollen and sore I can barely eat much less swollen without being in pain and it has caused my left ear to hurt quite a bit and I can't hear well out of it anymore. My teeth have always been prone to cavities but now it's like im getting cavities left and right. I don't know what I can do since I don't have any insurance and I haven't got enough money for the surgery. I have been taking ibuprofen and it helps with the pain but having to take ibuprofen everyday several times a day isn't good for me and has been causing me alot of stomach problems. I just don't know what to do anymore.

I have a friend who has an impacted wisdom tooth and in excruciating pain - has no health insurance and is making minimal money right because of the economy - basically my friends was told by all dentists and oral surgeons - until you have money for a down payment and money to pay every month (the price per month is more than they make) then come back. Does anyone care? the so called free clinic won't do anything until other cavities are taken care of so basically suffer with the infection - money conquers all

Well Friday Feb 17, 2012 I will be put to sleep to have a impacted wisdom tooth and 3 other teeth removed at the same time.  One of them is the top wisdom tooth that seems to try every few months to finish coming but never does.  I was told this removeal of wisdom teeth should be done in your 20's I am 58 and they say they could fracture my jaw and maybe even loose the feeling in that side of my mouth.

Hi Well, I'm 47!!! and I have my second wisdom tooth growing, I had my first when I was 45 without any major problems, I was told this is unusual at my age to get wisdom teeth, mostly people get their wisdom teeth in their early 2o's. after much research on Google,it appears that it is in fact, not the case and you can have them at any age 35, 58 and me 47.

I am so please I decided to Google my symptoms as clearly,  I have all the same issues... trouble opening my jaw, swollen neck, throat, headaches ,neck ache ,ear ache, sore throat... blocked sinuses cracking /popping ears blocked ears. I have been to my Doctor, as I was uncertain whether to go to my Doctor or Dentist but clearly ,my Dentist is my neck appointment. I have antibiotic and this hasn't made any difference along side anti inflammatory pain killers (works short term but how long can you keep taking them), my Dr advised me that all the pain was due to an infection but I sense, it is rather like a child going through teething process( poor little things, know we can empathise with them, what they must be feeling with several teeth shooting up at the same time.) it needs to either grow through or come out!!! not sure I CAN WAIT FOR IT TO GROW THROUGH with this amount of pain.

I have serve allergies and I'm always congested in my nose and I have A constant itchy & sore throat. This past week, I had my upper wisdom teeth removed, and the following day, I felt relief from my sinuses, it was awesome, I could actually breath. I still have an itchy sore throat, but I thinking and this is just an educated guess, that my wisdom teeth could have been pressing against nerves that connect to nose and throat. My next step is remove my lower wisdom teeth, and see if I have relief for my throat. Wish me Luck. Btw, I wish I had them removed when I was 19, not 41yr, ugh!!!

In response to your assertion that antibiotics "do not relieve pain," I would like to note that although antibiotics are not painkillers, they often do help get rid of the pain associated with infection because they get rid of the infection. Speaking as someone who has had tooth pain due to abcess, sinus infections, and tooth pain diagnosed as sinus infection, I can assure you that when the infection is gone the pain is certainly less. Much of the pain and symptoms are signs of the infection, and when the infection is gone the symptoms (and much of hte pain) is alleviated. This is just a thought, added late because I am currently trying to determine if I have another impacted wisdom tooth or a sinus infection, and this is one of the top of the results of my Google search. Best of luck to anyone with the same problems.

Ackording to tons of german medical books about teeth, wisdomteeth and especially wisdomteeth that has not broken out can be a huge cause of healthproblems.

Wow, Thanks. I thought it was only me who thought I had TMJ. I originally had top, left molar drilled (very, very deep according to Dr. Kavorkian) I think too deep because now I have nothing but PAIN, head aches, ear aches, temple aches neck aches, upper and lower inside gums frickin hurt BAD!!! and gland pain. No relief from Vicodin. Dr. Kavorkian told me to take anti-biotics and didn't even know if there was an infection. Hmmm.

Now am going to see oral surgeon. At this point he can yank all these mothers out. I just want relief from pain man.

I have my teeth coming out and I went to see a doctor because I thought I was coming down with flu but the flu medicine did not help so I decided to see a dentist and they told me my gums were infected and gave me some antibiotics and painkillers, my tooth got better but I still get dizzy and weak and have head aches once in a while and my body gets painful. I am not sure whether to go back and see my doctor or dentist
