I can fix your life very easily. Have your dermatologist prescribe soolantra. Doctors spent a lot of time in college, so they don't like it when you tell them what to prescribe. Tell the doc that you have hooked up with lots of similar people online and soolantra has worked for them. Ask his opinion on letting you try it. Download the coupon from the soolantra website so you will only pay $25 out of pocket for it. Try this for one month and it may change your life.
Another thing I recommend is radically changing your diet. You can research elimination diets online. It took me over a decade to figure out that fruit was making me break out in the same way as what you describe. You always assume, how could fruit be bad for me? It's the healthiest stuff on earth. So, forget what you know and do a few scientific tests on your own diet.
That's the way to get your life back. Good luck. Others on here will vouch for Soolantra.

I've developed open patches of skin on the back of my hand and on one of my shins. They're always leaking an orange liquid that dries into crusts, but they don't appear to be infected (no pain, no redness, no swelling). They haven't healed in a month. They started as clusters of raised, itchy bumps that began to leak fluid.
Yesterday, I had a sudden outbreak (appeared within minutes) of small bumps mostly on my cheeks and forehead. The skin of my face appears pinker around the effected areas. Even after applying a moisturizer, the skin feels dry and tight. They're constantly leaking a yellow fluid that dries into crusts. When I wash them away, they just begin leaking again. I also have small, less concentrated (meaning no clusters) bumps on both of my arms, which do not leak.
I'm really worried because I thought that the scabs on my legs were from bad shaving advice, but it hasn't healed in a month. It feels like a kind of hives or bacterial infection have spread from my legs to my arms and now to my face. I try to take really good care of my skin, keeping it moisturized, not wearing makeup often, not scratching, not overwashing, etc.
My skin is so sensitive lately. If I scratch it, it swells into bumps that may leak or last for days. This is unusual because I've never had skin problems like these in my life, and now they're suddenly appearing. So far, I'm using hydrocortisone cream and antihistamine tablets to try to lessen the symptoms.
I would appreciate it if anyone could share if they've had something similar and what steps they took to treat it. Thanks for reading.

I attempted to treat my rash with over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream, anti-itch cream, and aloe vera gel but to no avail. It progressively got worse to the point where it spread all the way down my limbs with swaths of slow-healing, red blisters concentrated on my shoulders and shins. The good news is that besides minor burns on my cheeks, my face has cleared up.
I visited a doctor today. He said he couldn't be absolutely certain what my affliction was because I had arrived fairly late with my condition. (At that point, it had been two months since the skin problems started.) He said that the dried sores were reminiscent of psoariasis. However, he also shared that the honey-colored crusts and constant weeping were symptoms of a viral infection. We speculate that I could have caught it during the three days I spent with my mom in a hospital earlier this year. I received a steroid shot, and now I'm taking Bactrim (an antibiotic), Acyclovir (an antiviral), Prednisone (an oral steroid), and a topical steroid cream. I notice a quick difference from the steroid shot, as my wounds are no longer leaking.
I hope to see noticeable change in the coming days. I'll update again in a few days or weeks with the results. Wish me luck!

I'm pretty sure I had a moderate staph infection. I thought it had been bad shaving advice or an allergic reaction.
Another update:
Here are some pictures documenting my recovery progress for those who might find it helpful. Graphic imagery and oozing scars in the links.
For reference, I had a steroid shot, and now I'm taking Prednisone (x2 a day), Bactrim (x2 a day), Acyclovir (x5 a day), and Triamcinolone 0.1% cream (x2 a day).
One hour after visit, first dosages. The steroid shot stopped the weeping quickly.

This is five days after visit, regularly taking medications.

My skin is no longer covered in open sores, and I'm well on the way to healing. I'll definitely have some scarring, but I'm glad to say the worst is over. Always check with a doctor if wounds don't heal after a few days! The damage would have been lessened significantly if I had gotten it checked earlier.

I believe what is being described is a yeast infection on the face. Search it on Google and see if the pictures don't look similar. I have this problem and am trying ketaconazole. One person said they had tried this and it cleared up, but then came back. As with any fungal infection, you have to treat it even after the rash is no longer visible because the fungus still lives beneath the skin's surface. The medication would have to be strong enough to kill it, but followed according to the directions. If overused, the skin can start to break down and become resistant. Try ketaconazole twice a day, not caked on, just a thin, even layer. This is only available thru prescription but a regular md or fnp should be fine with writing one. You shouldn't have to see a dermatologist in my opinion. This would explain why it doesn't heal and spreads. Also sugar in your diet feeds yeast and other fungi, which would explain why one person's "caffeine" being cut out of their diet helped clear the rash. I'm guessing it was the lack of sugary drink being consumed. Really hope this helps someone.
