I just got this problem yesterday and I'm finding it VERY uncomfortable (Could be problem for pads?). Its like a pinching feeling not to mention on how it makes me look like I have a penis which makes me worried for the future a little, but on how am I suppose to wear a swimsuit? My parents aren't going to do anything not that they have before anyway and cutting it? Im worried that it will damage something and possible be just painful and mess, but I've sadly put it in consideration. Maybe good or bad is its only on ONE side. Thank you so much for your perspective. This made me feel so much more confident in myself and my larger labia. I am 15 years old and I am terrified when i think about people finding out or getting a boyfriend and getting serious because he will have to know eventually about my labia. I realize now that they make me special and make me who I am and everyone who has them shouldn't be ashamed of them because the right guy will love you no matter what. I had no idea that this was so common and I thought I was alone in this but reading all of these comments made me feel like I can look back at these to give myself a confidence boost and remind myself that I shouldn't be concerned about this and that I should be spending my time thinking about other important things. There is no reason to have a potentially dangerous surgery for something that is natural. Big labia is completely normal. Try not to play with your labia. They are meant to just hang out. Women end up trying to tuck them which ends in irritation. Keep down there dry. No one will notice it in a swimsuit - only you. If you find it is noticeable, try a new swimsuit, one that isn't too thin.

What do you mean grow into your body? Your labia are NORMAL. They are COMMON. Plenty of women have labia that hang. Men don't care. In fact, many educated men actually prefer them. Please don't start carving up your lady parts to look more like a pornstars. Natural labia are best.

I too had always thought my vagina was ugly, because of stretched long labia ever since I was a teenager. None of my boyfriend's ever seemed to have a problem with it nor did they seem to even think anything about it.
