A chiropractor can take care of the tmj issue.
Just so you know, there is a percentage of the population that does not respond to allergy shots. If you take them for three years and do not see any results, STOP. You are wasting your time and money. Our allergist stopped them on all three of my family members. I have had good results with Chiropractic care; and have had friends who have had good results with Acupuncture. The best therapy is to identify the allergens and stay away from them. I realize that this is not always possible. Also be aware that the best way to truly identify allergens is an elimination diet/environment combo. This is difficult, but start with fruits, vegetables and spring water (organic if you can afford it). Do this for 1-2 weeks and watch your bowl movements. Re-introduce items one at a time and continue to watch your bm's. If they become liquid or hard, you know that you've discovered a potential allergy. We learned this from our team of doctors.
I had this exact problem aswell and want to post the solution as I dont see it anywhere else.
The problem wasn't with the throat turns out with the ear. Either wax buildup or water went into my ear when was showering and that was causing the throat pain when yawning,burping,coughing feeling. If you have this problem but have not found solutions this could help. get a qtip and clean around dont go to far in just enough to clean a good amount. wiggle the outside of your ear a bit and see if you can hear any water buildup in there. hope this helps

Speaking of diet soda that can induce all sorts of symptoms cuz of the aspartame.

Saw this on another post, look into acid reflux.... Seems strange but that can cause all sorts of symptoms including the burning sensation you described...
Smoking can also have an effect on these things though too....
hello everyone. I'm in the same boat as everyone on this forum. my left side of my throat started and is still hurting every time I swallow. pain comes and goes but remains consistent (daily). I have been to my doctors office 3 freaking times, seen an ENT DOCTOR just to be told that they don't see anything, but my throat still hurts. I'm read and to do research everytime i feel even an inckly sick. I think of the worst case scenario, though it doesn't help my situation that I suffer from anxiety ( a little partyingredients away gift from the military). Its been going on for about several months and I'm starting to get alittle worried. I dont know if it's allergy related, considering I take allergy meds because where I work. Symptoms still there. gonna go to doctors again (blood suckers). I had the strep culture, done, checked for Mano, checked my nose and throat with a camera and nothing. any one have any new information?
