I am onto my 3rd Mirena and it was more painful than birth - I have been experiencing a lot of blood for the past 5 months, that is the reason I changed my Mirena, hopfully this helps me and the problem goes away and I can get on with living a normal life - pain free
YES I HAVE MY PERIODES EVERY MONTH SAMETIMES 9TIMES IN ONE MONTH IS THAT RIGHT AND IT ALMOST ONE YEAR
I have had my a year now and my periods are getting heavier and lasting longer than 7 days I am not happy about this at all
I got Mirena April 1st. It was extremely painful. I started bleeding on April 8th- about 1.5 weeks early. I was always very regular, so this freaked me out. It is now April 17th and I am still consistently bleeding. It has not been light, but not been heavy at all either, rather consistently regular. I am getting MARRIED this weekend and I REALLY dont want to be bleeding!!!
Also- side note. I didn't want to have sex at all for about a week, because it felt "funny"- not like I could actually "feel" it, but, just knowing it was there freaked me out. Basically, I immediately regretted it. But, now that its in there, I decided to give it 6 months and see if I like it then. Plus, I'm scared about the pain of getting it removed!
HI I got my Mirena put in on May 6 and I did have spotting but it went away after a few days. Then I few weeks later I got a period which was a week early. I have been bleeding for 8 days it started off light and has been pretty regular not heavy at all. My boyfriend doesnt care about a little blood when we do have sex, but I sure do I should not have to worry about making a mess everywhere.
I have a call inot my doctor I just want it to stop. I have had no other symtoms of a period just the bleeding.
I am glad I am not the only one experiencing this.
So My Doctor is giving me an IUD next month I have been reading alot about it only to find that mostly all are women saying they still get their periods. till after they remove it. I thought It was suppose to stop periods
I have had my IUD for 2.5 years now and I still have my period every month. Im going and getting it removed, I dont think its help at all for the reason that I needed it for.
Good luck to you all
