NO Zoloft treats anxiety..it does not create it. Maybe go ask a doctor not the internet...
I have been taking Zoloft and Xanax for the las 7 months, recently I started smoking and drinking frequently and have not experienced any negative side effects. Before a was was taking Xanax and Zoloft I smoked once and felt I was going to die and in a non-ending trip. I also drank a lot one night when I had just started my treatment and woke up with the worst anxiety! ...after those two events I did not drink or smoke for a long time until about a month ago. It is not a good idea to mix any of these drugs, it is unquestionable that you are not helping your body (specially your liver), but it wount kill you, it might just send you back into a depressive or anxious state. Mi suggestion to anyone considering smoking or drinking is not to worry about the fact that you are taking Zoloft but why you are taking it. Most likely, like me, it is because because you suffer from anxiety, depression, or both. You will be able to handle those drugs if you have made progress in your state of mind, not if your body ir more resilient. Before smoking and drinking recreationally I had a huge progress and until then I decided to experiment with marijuana and alcohol. I mainly did it because I did not want to live a shunned life just because of a severe phase of anxiety and depression. Learn to relax and be introspective without drugs ...when you are in a good state of mind and stress free, then give it a try if that is what you want. Also, I have never used Xanax to reduce anxiety while high or drunk. In fact I cant remember when was the last time I was anxious and I actually take half the Xanax dose I am supposed to.
i like to sniff farty buttholes that have been on stinky public bus seats all day long
I had the single worst trip of my life while on Zoloft and cannabis.
I literally hallucinated and sh*t - it was horrible. In the end I had to just sleep it off, but I went kinda crazy for a while (felt like I was being electricuted whenever someone touched me). I would not advise smoking while on Zoloft, but then again, I had only smoked twice before this particular incident. Most people don't feel adversly affected by zoloft and marijuana, but if you're ususally a non-smoker, I would advise maybe taking it slowly, or just not smoking at all.
Most important thing is who you smoke with and how nervous you are also. If you're on zoloft you're most likely suffering from major depressive disorder or an anxiety disorder, and paranoia and aggitation will occur if you're not completely comfortable. Weed is great, but take it in your stride when you're only beginning.
You guys are crazy to smoke weed and take meds! You say " there's no side effects"...haha! You should talk to everyone around you, you might hear a different story...just saying! Counter productive completley.
I just started taking Zoloft, and this was very helpful. I also like that you pointed out that substances don't change your personality. People often try to blame medications, etc. for making them act a certain way.
actually cannabis has been proven to bring out great vibes and kind feelings for others. some people i would say become better people after smoking pot. its not for everyone clearly not you but your a dumb ass for saying that because cannabis have helped many people have normal lives that otherwise would include suffering without cannabis.
I have smoked pot, Medical marijuana for four years now. I had a head injury and my studies in college have peoven true! NOTHING WRONG and No side effects. It is all in the head. Think about it, if you go into to a high all pissed one tends to have a bad high pero, bueno y bueno!!!! I woud love to hear from you all. Smell the Hole that Feeds You! Today is the first day of the rest of my life!!!
homie prob just greened out lol
Weed helps me sleep and don't seem to have any interactions with Zoloft....Zopiclone for sleep with Zoloft caused all kinds of reactions. For me it's a better choice than perscription sleep pills
