Hi I have one question for you. My mom says powder is bad for our skin. Is that true? I just turned 16 and I'm starting to learn about make up. Since my mother is absent most of the time because of her work obligations, I guess internet is the only way of learning for me. I don't want my friends to teach me. I don't know much about make up but they sure don't know that also. You should see what they look like when they come to school.
Powder can be very bad for skin, especially if it has low percentage of oil in it, thus drying you skin and make it look a bit older. You surely don't want that, right? You have to read carefully what it says on its label, its structure, what type of skin it is made for, things like that. And don't be hard on your friends, they are just experimenting, maybe you should do the same.
Hi! i'm 16 and my mom is an esthetician, so she knows and has told me that powder is bad for your skin. my mom has always told me that just putting make up on my eyes (mascara, eye liner, etc) was enough and a litlle lip gloss if you want. personnaly, i think that right now, what is really nice (especially at our age) is being natural and in my opinion, just putting a little make up on the eyes is fine. its not necessary to cover up with powder. but we are all different and its by experiencing that you will find what you like best. ;-)
If you have sensitive skin, then it's not good for you. But if not then there's no wrong in using face powder or makeup with you. I think your mom when she was a teenager, she experienced rushes or other allergies when she tried to used powder with her. Consult your dermatologist if your skin is not sensitive or get an advice what could be the best power that you are going to use
Hi, can an adult use baby powder??? Does it have any bad or good effect on the skin?
