I reciently started having problems with my penis feeling numb when I masturbate, I haven't had an orgasm in weeks.
I have gone to the doctor, says its all in my head and nothing is physically wrong. Got a psa test and my prostrate is fine.
Like you said, its like touching a hose, I have feeling when i urinate, but when masturbating I feel my hand but no sexual stimulation at all. Doctors don't listen, they say I am fine. Going thru alot of frustration with this condition. I have only found a couple other posts on another site about men suffering thru same situation. It seems to be such a rare condition. I do fairly good with getting an erection but need help with viagra, but even then still no sexual pleasure.
I just hope this isn't for the rest of my life and someone can post a "cure" for this situation, its so frustrating and has affected the quality of my life. Sex isn't everything I know that but it sure is a wonderful part of life.
Masterbate daily, take hot baths, get a shower water pick and massage your penis... And if you pinch the head and your anus doesn't wink you have a nerve problem if it does clench then no nerve problem. I mean the mastrrbate daily you have to clear out your prostate give it 3 months you'll be fine.
No, I got that checked. It's actually high.
Warning Sign of Diabetes: Sexual Dysfunction
Sexual problems can occur as a result of type 2 diabetes. Since diabetes can damage the blood vessels and nerves in the sex organs, decreased sensation can develop, potentially leading to difficulties with orgasm. Vaginal dryness in women and impotence in men are other complications of diabetes. Estimates suggest that between 35% and 70% of men with diabetes will eventually suffer from impotence
I have similar issues. Mine began with PE (penis exercises) which involved penis stretches. At first the numbness was isolated to very specific areas of my penis and glans, but now (10 months later) includes my scrotum and whole perineal area. I'm afraid it may be getting worse, as well. :-/
I've been to three urologist--none of which seemed the slightest concerned with the numbness/lack of sensation in my penis and weak erections (at the time of my doctor visits the numbness of my perineal area was not apparent to me).
I've read many, MANY online forums, articles, medical information/anatomy/etc, and keep thinking I'm onto something, but then never feel like it's 100% accurate, so get discouraged and start down a new path of research.
However, I feel as though I MAY be onto something: 1) pelvic floor dysfunction (as a result of a primary cause [that may or may not have resolved itself] [e.g. PE exercises, PC exercises, etc]) 2) pudendal neuralgia (PN) 3) pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE). I've come across these many times and they always catch my attention because the symptoms seem pretty spot on--especially with their long list of possible symptoms.
Basically, numbness that may be present now may be the result of constricted/tense pelvic floor muscles which are compressing nerves in diverse and unlikely places--which is why so many of us got these symptoms SO many different ways originally, why we all have different symptoms and combination of symptoms, and why none of us can find a specialist who can figure out what's wrong. I could be totally wrong (at least for some people), but I feel like any avenue that's seems like a possibility is worth going down.
I think I'm going to attempt pelvic floor physical therapy to see if that can lengthen and loosen my pelvic floor muscles, which may (hopefully) be compressing and constricting nerves in and around these numb/loss of sensation areas.
Best of luck to everybody! Let us know if anybody has a lead or has success with anything.
Cheers

If you have a desensitized penis you do not masterbate at all that destroys the sensitivity!
hormone replacement therapy may be required .diabetics hormonal levels drop. estrogen levels increase causing anxiety depression numbness in the penis shrunken or enlarged scrotum. breasts seem to be enlarged and mood swings. i havent had sex for 3yrs but my partner has been the one to find out about diabetes and hormone levels in men .Apparently it is very common .but G.P.'S. over look this and they think that all the symptoms are in your head. I went to the Dr's with my partner and she told him about the hormonal problem with diabetics,He sent me for a blood test and it came back that I was on the lower end of normal .not good. but he did not do anything about it .so armed with more info which she has got off the computer we are off to the Dr's again Apparently I'm supposed to be on hormone replacement therapy. (type into your computer . numbness in penis ) lots of guys going through the same stuff with great info good luck to you all.
Ok, what are your thoughts? This is the first thread I've seen that accurately describes my problem. I was checked out by the doctor, and my blood tests and prostate came back normal.
Try using a penis health creme every day. Man1 Man Oil is a good one containing acetyl L carnitine, which is an all natural supplement proven to enhance sensitivity down there. And don't worry, all the ingredients in this creme are natural, so there is zero risk of strange side effects. Check it out.
I bet you took and then discontinued propecia.
