I have the same thing. Yesterday I had gotten a cold and this morning I noticed the right side of my scrotum flaking. I left for a bit and just a few minutes I was in the bathroom and I didn't really notice the flaking, but on the left side my scrotum was shiny and when I stretched it it stayed in place. I've never kissed a girl, to be honest, and I've never had sexual contact, so an STI is out of the question. My best guess is that it's just from either masturbation or just the air, maybe it's the perfect dampness or something.

I had this problem 5 years ago. I was 28 at the time. I wasn't shaving my balls (you guys that do are a little weird), and I didn't put any weird lotions on my junk for masturbatory purposes. I was working out and running daily, and I was having a lot of sex with different girls. I don't think the sex had anything to do with it, but maybe it could have been a friction/sweat issue from working out. Truth is, I have no idea what caused it. One day the scrotum skin just tightened up and dried out. Shiney and flakey, just like you guys said about looking like dried glue on your hands when you were a kid. Very uncomfortable. After a day or two I put some strong moisturizing cream on it to soften the flakes and I peeled them all off. I felt better immediately and the problem never came back. Hope this helps!

Your "lube" is drying out your skin.  Shampoo/soap, because it is a polar molecule, it is typically attracted to oils and water.  Which in theory, should remove the dirt and grime from you're skin right?  Well it does, and it doesn't.  In the process, the soap also removes your natural oils, the only layer that protects your testes from drying out.  Usually, for me, it peels off after a few days of scratching and picking.  The new skin is pink and soft, while the dead c**p is dry, brown, and crinkly.  DO NOT WORRY.  If you masturbate regularly, it should peel about every one-two months.

NOTE: IF YOUR SKIN PEELS FAR MORE THAN DESCRIBED, OR EVEN A LITTLE MORE, AND/OR THESE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT RELATE TO YOU, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR/DERMATOLOGIST.

It is eczema and you should put hydrocortizone on it. You can buy it over the counter but a derm doc and give you stronger % with an RX. I had all my scrotum skin flake of like a sun burn and some kinda painful cracks on my ppenism saw a dermotologist and he gave me hydrocortizone cream, healed two days

Hello,
I woke up this morning, and noticed that I had exactly the same symptoms you were describing. The "glue on your hand and if you let it dry" is the perfect analogy! Mine is flaky, shiny, and has lost elasticity just like yours. I don't have any of the peeling effects however. I have mild fungus on my hands, and masturbate about once a week, and for last couple of months my penis was ok. But referencing Dane Cook and having one of those ferocious werewolf masturbation sessions i'm sure the fungus spread. So, I'm positive its fungus. Anyone find effective treatment? I"m going to use same thing ive been using for my athletes foot--Apple CIder Vinegar, Tea Tree Oil, Econazole etc.

It is called Jock Itch.

The symptoms of jock itch may come and go, and many cases of jock itch resolve spontaneously without any treatment. Jock itch is primarily seen in the groin, although it may spread to the inner thighs, genitals (including penis, scrotum, labia, and vaginal opening), and anus.

While jock itch is frequently noted in otherwise healthy patients, patients withdiabetes and/or obesity are more susceptible. Possible causes of this common groin itch include irritation from tight or abrasive underwear, excess moisture, sweating, skin rubbing or friction, allergic problems, fungal infection, Candida (yeast) infection, and bacterial overgrowth or skin infection.

Treatment of fungal-related jock itch may include one or a combination of antifungal creams and, rarely, antifungal pills. Treatment of jock itch that is not caused by fungus involves proper groin hygiene, keeping the area clean and dry, and washing frequently with gentle soap and water (especially after sweating or exercise).

Jock itch causes a symmetrical red or pink rash on the sides of the groin folds. There may be a dry, scaly rash or a collection of small, pinpoint red or pink bumps at each hair follicle.

If you use hand soap to masturbate, this will happen, so i recommend to not use it unless you like peeling skin off your penis. I also have the flakey balls problem because of shaving dry without any water or anything

I have the same problem, I'm 16. I masturbated in the shower with shampoo and during the process my penis started burning in various places and some small cuts appeared. The largest of the cuts now looks a little infected and just this morning I noticed this scrotum problem... Sure hope I don't have to ask my mom to take me to the doctor.. Awkward.
