Here's the deal. You weight 148lbs. If you lost 20 lbs you'd be 128, and that IS healthy. That's only twenty pounds. You can do it.

Hi April, I understand your pain! There are tons of ways to lose weight, I am trying everything aswell! But it doesn't matter what you lose or gain. It is all about how you look at yourself!! You can't judge your happiness by the way others look! There are ways to be healthy and lose weight, like drinking lots of water, avoid junkfood and any form of processed sugars and flours! Fruits and vegetables! But to help your self esteem.. you need to do this! I want you to look at yourself in the mirror with no clothes or clothes. Tell yourself you are beautiful and sexy, that you have an amazing body and you are wonderful! It will be extremely hard to do at first, because you will see your flaws and jugde yourself! But do it over and over again until you believe it! The thing about thinking your body looks great is that when you start to see yourself a certain way, you will naturally start to look at how your mind thinks you are! Don't believe me, I was sixteen too! I didn't like my body either! I had a huge booty and small breast and was thin but with muscular legs and arms and a huge torso! I thought I was ugly compared to my friends! Then I grew up and told myself I was beautiful and sexy! I have an hourglass figure that most woman would pay out the nose to get! I still struggle with my weight from time to time! But I never give up on telling myself how sexy and beautiful I am! And the amazing thing is I am surrounded by people who love me and don't judge my body type! I am not extremely fat and I am very healthy. And I learned to love my butt, boobs, thighs and hips! And if it helps I am 5'6 and 180 bls, I workout everyday and avoid soda and junkfood! I am nowhere ever going to being your weight in my life or I would look extremely sick! Your family loves you and even if they make judgements don't pay no mind. My family use to tease me for not having breast when I was younger, Now as an adult I am a 36DD naturally! I told myself everyday that I was beautiful even with everyone making nasty comments! It was hard but I prevailed! At 27 now I love who I am, it was a hard road I had to travel too! The great thing is that you will find happiness and love and be surrounded by it, but you HAVE to love yourself first! I know you can do it, take it from a woman who was once a girl in your same boat. I got out of the boat and swam away! And now my boat it made of gold! try the 2 4 6 8 diet. google it. it confuses your metabolism and tricks your body into burning a lot more calories. i lost 6 pounds in a week, but i was 125 pounds to start with. since you weigh a little more it should be a lot more success for you. itll be the best decision you can ever make.

I am 5'0 and I was waiting 145,, a friend of mine recommended the hcg drops. What can I tell u? I'm down at 123 in 2 weeks. It's not hard , just have to watch what ur eating. I'm doing the hcg diet, 1500 cal a day. I wish u gd luck.

Fastest way to lose weight and look great is to do just these few things
1. exercise
2. eat as much raw fresh food as possible e.g fruit
3. drink plenty of water

I hope you dont still feel this way. This type of thought can be damaging inside and out. It can make any chance of weight loss even more difficult. I speak from experience. I have lost 35 lbs and i still have psychological issues about it. quit while your ahead. Your young. enjoy your life, be healthy, as a lifestyle, sleep regularly, excersize- but have fun doing it and do it for yourself. not for anyone else.

this is not healthy at all so basicly i was 250 lbs i hated it i couldent stand it one day i said f it and exorcising didnt no nothing ut took sooo long time so this is the way again its unhealthy basicly i put my finger back in my mouth then puked i did that 4 times a day but i ate again right after so it wouldent be dangerous i lost 90 lbs in 4 months yup its true it hurts but it helps if ur desperate im now 160 lbs  and healthy at once i reached this weight i started exorcising all the time hope this helps remember dont abuse it it could kill u

This probably isn't true. I got my period 3 years ago, when I was 12. Though It very well could be because this is when I lost about half of my baby fat. Also when weight began to matter to me.

See, by 7th grade I had become thouroughly depressed and lost all desire to do anything. I wasn't eating or sleeping much and I didn't want to live. I went from being 5'2 and 140 lbs to being 115.

That's where the yo-yoing came in. Now I'm up to 160 and struggling to lose weight again. I refuse to suscumb to anorexia again. I know there's a pretty girl in here, but I can't seem to uncover her. Anyone have any tips, possibly? I'll keep reading on to see if I uncover anything useful though. Thanks~

I understand u fully. I'm 5'5 and 175 lbs. I've always been skinny and the past year I've gained incredible weight. I can't control my hunger and I have asthsma so excersize is hard for me.
Laxatives are easy. Mix mineral oil in chocolate milk once a day.
I understanding wanting to be thin NOW I don't care how unhealthy it is.

No, you don't feel hungry; as a matter of fact I lost some of my appetite when I was on Atkins. I have tried Atkins twice already and both times I got fantastic results only to gain the weight back a year or so later. You must, must, must continue to eat as the Atkins book states in the maintenance phase for the rest of your life. Obviously, it was too restrictive for me and here I am looking to loose weight again. What I am trying to say is, lose weight by eating healthy and exercising and lots of water. Fad diets work for a shor period of time and when the pounds come back on, they come back on two-fold and then you find yourself in my shoes, overweight again and needing to lose more weight now than I had to initially before I started Atkins both times. And for heavens sake, don't become bullemic or anorexic, I would rather be chunky than sick or even worse....DEAD!!!
