my 2 cents
truthfully tho... all those things work....
i was 160lbs... i was overweight.... but i wasn't obese... but i know how it feels. i use to be 110lbs, 5'4", dress size 0-2. thennn i started being really busy and started gaining weight and i hated it, i hated myself i was so depressed. i tried to lose weight for events.. which i did lose some but then right after i gained it all back. i tried lots of weight lost plans, pills, meals and everything else out there.. and it was really sad cause it cost me lots of money and i usually gained it back once they stopped helping me cause i couldn't keep it up myself. and trust me... fasting and other crazy diets only make you look worst cause you get all bloated and saggy then you get stretch marks.. then you wish you never lost the weight so fast and you exercise so everything gets tight.
so i guess what im trying to say is... weight lost isn't easy... you have to really work at it, its like a full time job. at first you might see some result... then it might stop.. then usually this is when people give up. and you shouldn't get discouraged from it. no matter how much you think it doesn't work you should still keep working at it. because if you stop, you will only gain the weight back... but if you keep working at it then you will see results, in a healthy way that make you look super duper hot.
i know its hard, and its frustrating... but seriously you should try and stick to living a healthy lifestyle, and start off slow so you don't get discouraged... because when you do finally see the result and people start commenting you yu feel AWESOME. you feel so freaking good and gorgeous. and when you get fit into that pain of jeans, or look good in that shirt... its the best feeling ever. and keep a journal... not for your food but how you feel that day... it will help you are around skinny people alot or people say mean things about your weight ( well it helped me cause after i write it al down i forget about it and get my mind back on track of how i want to lose weight to look good so i can prove them all wrong)
if you start losing weight now then by the time a event comes up... you don't have to find a *fast weight lost plan*
1) Walk or bike everywhere you can. If it is within 3 miles, hoof it fatty. And hoof it back too.
2) Rock out! Put on some music and dance in your room.
3) Clean everything you can. You can also put on music to make this more fun but its a really good arm workout to dust and scrub. Bye bye chicken arms.
4) Rent or buy an old work out tape and do the full tape every day. Or you can do it twice a day if you have to trim up super fast.
The other part of all of this is the food part. Now I love me some food but I will eat myself into a coma of fatty goodness if Im not careful. So I stuff myself but what is quantity isn't always full of calories. Did you know that 2 heads of iceburg lettuce is only 100 calories? I stuff myself silly with lettuce. I eat a half to a full head of lettuce at each meal. The trick is to not put your dressing on the lettuce but just lightly dip your fork into it before each bite. It is great how little dressing you use. All in all I would recommend the following:
1) Eat RAW veggies and lots of them. This will fill you up and keep the fat and calories at bay.
2) Don't drink anything with sugar or corn syrup. Sugar is bad but corn syrup the devil! Corn Syrup is in everything and it makes you crave sweets.
3) If you need to eat something hot, score some oat meal. It will last forever in your tummy. Use natural honey to sweeten it.
4) Pretend you are a lady. I'm a piggy with my food and I know it. So I always pre-eat like ladies of the court used to do. I eat my huge head of lettuce or a bowl of oats before I eat any meal. Than I order the smallest thing I can (like a cup of soup and an iced tea) and I am very satisfied.
5) Always spit everything if you are going out. Take a friend and agree to split anything you get. If you are alone just tell the waiter to box half of it up for you when you order it or get a kids meal.
Well that is the best I got. Oh yeah one more thing. You have to get a positive additude (not an easy task when you feel like a cow). Positive energy burns more calories and gives you more energy to dance around and work off the flab. So listen to happy music, hang around happy people, and smile your butt off!
hey i'm only twelve and i weight 138 how do u think i feel all my friends are small skinny beautiful people but i stand out like the ugly fat person. wish i could loose weight but not really have an expensive diet i mean some of the weight loss programs have 19.95 deals that i can't afford. but i really need a soultion to getting slim by my next summer. 5'1 and 148lbs is pretty bad, most people won't say that openly but it's true and it's why you are here. However, don't get upset about it, just be objective it's the way things are but it's not a mystery why as it might sometimes feel.
I have never struggled with my weight. I have however gained considerable amounts and then decided, well I need to get rid of this!
It's not a secret, and don't believe gimmicks or pills (thought I'm sure some of them help to some degree).
Excluding the fact that you have some kind of medical condition (these conditions I know nothing about) that prevents you from loosing weight, I have heard of and do believe they exist, it's matter of calories burned and calories consumed. Sure the break down of sources from fats, carbohydrates and sugars does matter but you can't escape the fact that the bottom line matters most, on the scale and in your stomach.
So I'm going to offer three ways to loose weight that I am sure will work with results that you will be able to see.
Plan 1
This plan is very unhealthy and will provide quick weight loss but doing it for more than 2 weeks will probably cause problems in your body, I know it from experience only and I'm not a medical guy of any kind.
- Only drink water, and drink lots of it (4-6 litres per day, but not all at once to keep you saline levels up this will keep you hunger somewhat at bay. At first you'll gain weight and pee a lot, that's ok it's because your body has been storing water because of the drought you've likely been putting it through, after a week or so you'll loose all your water weight.
- Don't eat very much, eat small frequent meals of vegetables. Celery rather than patatoes or carrots. But I can't stress very little enough, a meal consisting of 20 baby carrots would be a maximum.
With this plan you'll loose lots of weight, more muscle than fat, your breasts will sag slightly but you can loose 10lbs a week on this, you'll feel week, dizzy and might get a bit depressed (because it takes your insulin a while to drop after the sugar (grain, refined sugar etc)
Another alternative but similar to this plan is an all juce diet, where you juice real vegetables for all your meals, I've never done this so I can't speak for it with certainty but I imagine it would be healthier than mine and have the same success.
Plan 2
This is one of the two healthy plans I will offer
Measure your food, (get a kitchen scale) there are many free calorie counters on the internet. Using this plan you won't loose more than 2lbs a week but it ads up (8lbs a month) is a lot. Eat no more than 1000 calories a day (many people will say this is too low, but of them how many are trim?)
Eat small meals, 5-6 of them a day. Eat at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 6pm. Try your best to keep the quantity of food in each of these meals equal.
Also you'll need to rebase your calories to a lower number after you loose weight, take 50 calories off your daily intake for every 10lbs you loose I assume you don't want to weigh much less than 110lbs at the end of all this. If you find your weight loss stops and you've taken off 50, take off 50 more.
Also instead of worrying of food content just stick by the natural as possible rule. Eat whole grain bread (not white) you'll find in the end that white bread will taste gross after 2 months of this. Never eat things like pizza pockets, cookies or anything like that. That kind of food has 10 times the calories of real food, and will leave you hungry. Canatlope is a great fruit, spinach is a great vegetable, avoid potatoes and carrots you'll get what you need from the cantalope. Eat meat but keep it to tuna, chicken, and the rare treat of lean ground beef. Drink milk, (skimmed) don't have cheese.
Plan 3
This is exactly the same as plan 2 except eat 1300 instead of 1000 and make sure to do 30 minutes of real exersize a day. Go for a brisk walk, use an exercise bike, go for a swim. It has to be 30 real minutes to deserve those extra calories. You won't loose lbs as fast (because of muscle gain) but you will loose fat as fast. With this plan use a mirror instead of a scale, you'll know what I mean after a month.
Eat more tuna and chicken in this plan as you'll need the protein.
To sum up
You said you would do anything, and anything is
- Count calories for your meals
- Get up and exercise, for real (it will be extremely hard at first, you'll get naucious, you may vomit when you hit the wall (that's when you know you've gone a bit too far which usually happens from running or heavy biking). If you find biking boring do weight lifting, it's great because the bigger your muscles are the more calories you burn just by sitting. Do heavy weights 10 reps, 8 reps, and 6 reps as heavy as you can do all of those one after another do not change the weight in between sets. When you can do 10/10/10 it's time to move up in weight. Move up 5lbs per arm (for arm exercises) and 10lbs per leg (for leg exercises). Use freeweights rather than machines.
- Do not sway, don't eat out, don't reward yourself for loosing 2lbs, don't eat package foods you cook in the microwave.
Good luck!
hi there where do i start ok 1st of all you are only very young you most probly havnt gone through your period stage yet and if im right this is where a young person looses alot of weight but you need to talk too your parents about your problem and eating alot or not enough is bad for you . its good that you are aware of the weight problem your having and thats a great start but nothing comes easy so put your head up and go forward not fast
***Honestly the hardest part to this "diet"*********
YOU HAVE TO EAT EVERY 2HRS!!!
At the time I started I had just had my second child, and now have three. And the hardest thing for me with this program was always eating. When you first get the program, you take a little test. The results of the tests determine what your body type is. With this information you learn which foods help you lose weight faster and which foods work against your body. It's pretty amazing!
And as far as working out, with the program they only want you to work out NO MORE than 2 times per week. And NO MORE than 20 minutes!!! They say if you work out too often you will end up overworking your muscles and possibbly hurting yourself. It was weird cause everytime I worked out, it didn't even feel like I was even doing anything, and it didn't hurt. Didn't even hurt the next day!
SO DOES IT WORK????????
The first 2weeks I followed my food plan to a T!!! And only worked out 3 times and I lost 10lbs!!!
So yes it works! Just the hard thing for me is the eating all the time! And that's kinda funny, to not be able to eat all the time, but eat even if you don't feel hungry!!! It does work! This program is also filled with alot of information to help you better understand your individual body. Because no one is the same body structure, or chemistry. So you might pay a higher price but you get a custom plan THAT WILL WORK!
I hope this helps some of you!I've struggled with my weight most my life and tried the pills and stuff, nothing else works. This is the first thing I tried that is actually the healthy way, that also gives you extremely quick results!
I too am struggling with my weight. I weight 150 and I am 5'2''. My son is 18 months old so I cant use the 'I just had a baby' excuse. Its all about life style...BUT...if you want to drop weight fast and start a healthy life style do "The Master Cleanse" aka "The Lemonade Diet". You drink a lemonade you make and thats it... no food. But you are drinking sufficient calories to function. Just read the book fully because you cant just 'jump off' the diet. You have to follow it or you could really hurt your body.
ANother thing I recommend if eat REALLY healthy. I lost 12 pounds in a month buy eating healthy...and you can eat A LOT and only eat 1000 calories a day! Plus, I worked out for 30min-2 hours each day.
These are the only ways I lost weight EVER. I hope these help!
Oh and type into the search bar "Free weight loss journal" and there should be a fitday site that offers you a FREE calorie counter! It helps A LOT!
