Hi its nice to read your post as suffer from sweating in bed at night but its only my legs, I have been taking anti depressant tablets
and I did not sweat before I took them . I believe there may be some truth in this theory .
I'm a 47 years old female never was on any medication and this sweating first started when i was 44. It would happen a week prior to my period coming on so I figured that i was just experiencing perimenopausal night sweats . I started drinking red clover and red raspberry leaf tea the sweating stopped. last year october i found out that i had type 2 diabetes and i don't know if that has anything to do with the sweating but it has resumed. The sweating is so bad that i wake up and jump out the bed thinking that my period came on or either i urinated on myself. maybe this is hormonal or from the diabetes i don't know but it is a nightmare .
Hi I don't know if this helps but I take anti depressant pills and another person had the same symptoms as we have and they took anti depressant pills too ? Just a thought as nobody seems to know the answers. best wishes Vince
I am 66 yr,old female, My legs sweat at night.. soaking the sheets..I am looking of answers if there are any. Any information would be helpful
I am a 39 yr old male and have had leg sweats at night for the last couple of years. Not daily but frequently During a week, it would keep me awake for hours trying to regulate the sweating/chilling effect.
Recently I changed my diet , very clean eating, no dairy, no wheat, a lot less sugar, no processed food at all, very minimal chemicals. Not easy but I am doingreally good with her help.
the first thing I notice was my leg sweats are GONE. Almost on the first night. after 10 days of no leg sweats I had to research why and I found this thread. we need to talkabout our food possibly being the link.
Please consider it, it very well could be your diet. I changed mine and the fact I get a full night sleep with no leg sweats for 10 days is amazing.
this is just supposed to be a 14 day challenge by my wife, but feeling the benefits so quickly I may never go back.
Hopefully cleaner eating is the cure for me..... It could help anyone of you.
i wish you all the best in finding what works for you.
My kidney function has been 'borderline' for years. I don't have diabetes, I've never been overweight, and I've never had fillings. I'm a vegan and I'm not particularly stressed. I take a few medications, but I took Zofran (anti-nausea wafers) a week ago so I think this may be the cause.
I don't know what to do to stop the sweating other than waiting and seeing if it diminishes between doses. Maybe my body will adjust.
