I had tried various papules removal methods but they didn't really worked well, they just made my skin peel off, which was not a good experience.

I have the numbing cream and soldering iron and am ready to dothe prcedure. My only question concerns the healin process. How long til after the procedure should I let water touch my penis? A few days? And after the healing process should keep my foreskin pulled back or should i just keep on foreskin over the glans and let it heal that way? Many thanks all!
I removed my PPPs 10 months ago using Emla cream and a soldering iron. They are still gone. You should check out the 'matterofsize'-forum. You'll find a great thread about PPP.
I burned my ppp twice on lowish heat with the iron with no effect. I finally got po'ed and burnt the biggest one on higher heat for almost 4 seconds. Its been a week since I did that and it got crusty and a little black during the porcedure and began peeling the next few days. I was a little disapointed when it all finally peeled because I could still clearly see the papule...However, it is about 1/2 the size it was before. I'm planning to do it on all of the ppp now that I see how its actually supposed to work. (I only have about 5-6 larger ones on the underside) I am a little fearful that this method won't actually remove the ppp since I could still see mine after the full procedure but I guess I have to just it them again because they are quite large. I can say there is no side effects at all so far, no scarring, loss of feeling, or anything. I hope people still read this and that this actually works. Update in a week or so.
Well it's me again, just checking in on this thread. It's been almost a year since I burned my PPP off with the soldering iron and numbing cream method. No signs of them coming back and no discoloration. I did the procedure twice to fully remove them and used Polysporin during the healing process. Someone mentioned having a weird physical sensation in the papules, I had this same discomfort and it's gone since having burned off the PPP. Congrats to everyone else who's PPP free now!!!
i made a few posts before where i tried to remove the PPP 3 times with soldering iron, i thought the PPP were hiding waiting to come back but its been months & they haven't come back, i even burned my gland too much but it has now totally healed, also the over-sensitvity the PPP gave me has gone, i had PPP quite bad & very happy this has worked

how much did you pay?
thats what is suppose to happen, the peeling. i just got done removing my PPP with tea tree oil. it took about 2 1/2 months to fully remove them, about a month into starting the treatment is when i started noticing results. castor/tea tree oil work by drying your skin, then peeling off layer by layer, thin layers. this is why these procedures take so long, you are removing the papules layer by layer.
but yeh, you keep applying which in turn keeps drying the area until it all starts peeling off on its own, personally i forced the peeling by lightly rubbing the papules every morning if i saw dead skin ready to be removed.
to those who are dealing with PPP, try the tea tree oil or castor oil method before heatironing, that just sounds crazy to me. the key to the oil treatments is perseverance, you must have patience tho its really hard to when the results are so slow. but hang in there because it does work, my case was pretty bad and i literally have no papules left, just an outline of skin where they use to be. i cant promise they wont grow back, im hoping they wont. i read somewhere that PPP has a grow rate of 3-4 years after which they stop growing/expanding, im 32 and have had them since 15 so im well over its growth rate and hope they wont come back.
Cliffs :
- 100% pure Australian tea tree oil worked for me effectively to remove PPP, applied 3-4x a day
- the process took about 2 1/2 months, i saw no progress until about a month in from starting the treatment.
- you need patience, the oil removes layers of skin at a time. it can take up to 1-1 1/2 weeks for another layer to peel off.
Hi, your account was very informative and useful! Would it be possible to go a bit into detail regarding the actual method you followed? A couple of questions, sorry if they may seem somewhat embarassing lol: did you wash the area every time before applying the oil? Did you leave your foreskin peeled back afterwards? Did you apply the oil using cotton buds? The way I do it is soak one end into the oil and tapping it on the glans, then repeat the same procedure with the other end, does that sound alright? I just bought a big bottle of oil and this time around I'll try and be perseverant, it's worth a try.
no problem at all man.
yes, i would typically clean the area using plain toilet paper with anti-bacterial soap smeared on it, and would of course wipe the PPP down and let it sit for a few seconds before wiping off (just used a wet piece of toilet paper) and patting dry. this process is more so to wipe away any excess chemicals left on the affected area then to keep it clean, tea tree oil itself is anti bacterial.
as for the application process, i used a cotton swab, and the 100% pure Australian tea tree oil, i literally used a entire 2mL ($7.99 @ walmart) bottle for my entire treatment. you gotta of course peel the skin back, soak 1 side of the swab completely and just rub on the PPP area, i would start from 1 side of the tip and drag along all the way to the other side, then come back and so on for more then a few passes. i wouldnt recommend having to dip the swab into the oil more then twice for a one time treatment, applying too much does speed up the process but it also really dries your penis skin up. i overused a bit and dried up real badly to where a few times when i would peel the skin back to put the tea tree oil on i would actually crack skin because of the skin being overly dried. these areas could give a burning sensation when coming in contact with the tea tree oil, but if it happens dont freak out its just a few minutes of burning pain then its gone and dont forget tea tree oil itself is anti bacterial so there is no real fear of infection, especially with the rigorous cleansing of the area you'll be doing as well.
after application of tea tree oil onto the papules its good to hold the penis skin held back so the oil can soak into the papules and begin the process. most sites i read on how to apply suggested allowing 5 minutes to dry but i would wait about 8-10 minutes. at 5 minutes the papules are still wet from the oil, but when i waited 8-10 minutes the oil would be completely absorbed. yes it is pretty time consuming to do this 3-4x a day, especially before work in the mornings but definitely make time for it. towards the end i started using a house fan, sitting infront of it while holding my skin back, set on medium setting to help me dry up in about 5 minutes.
i applied 3 to 4x a day. i would highly suggest fitting it in 4x a day. i would normally apply once in the AM before i went to work, once as soon as i got home from work in the evening which would be around 630pm, once more at around 930pm, then again around 1230am right before i would sleep.
as you get a few weeks into the process, allowing the oil to really soak in and do its magic, you'll start noticing alot of skin peeling around the affected area. for me, the skin where the papules were at would go white, sort of a similar look tp when you get a burn and your skin dies with water gathering underneath. once the skin turns white like this it will eventually start peeling over a few more courses of treatment application, this is what i thought to be like shedding a layer of the papules, and for me it took like 5 of these layer shedding-like occurrences to finally have had removed every papule. it also took me about 3-4 weeks of reapplication daily in between each time i reached this mass "layer shedding" process occurrence.
this process proved successful for me, but it is a long process. it took me a good 4 weeks before i saw any kind of results and the results were pretty small. as i said you are peeling off the layer of skin literally layer by layer, and depending how big your papules are it may take more or less time then others. i had a pretty mild to severe case compared to some of the pictures i had seen online of different cases of PPP and it took me a full 2 1/2 months to complete my treatment. you will deal with a lot of discomfort, strong tea tree oil smell on you most of the time, occaisonal itching, but the worst part is not loosing hope and believing this will work no matter how slow its going, there was a few times where i lost hope that this wasn't working over the course of the 2 months. however these inconveniences go a long way when you consider you are treating yourself for under $10 compared to the $1200+ for surgery alternative. do not get me wrong, i think the Co2 laser surgery is probably the most effective way of removing PPP but if you are broke like i am and have nothing but time then i would suggest this method because it has 0 side affects, and lets be honest its not like most of us have a booming sex life thanks to PPP so you may as well try it, you have nothing but time.
i can't tell you how surreal it feels to be PPP free. today is literally my first day i stopped treatment, and its so nice not to see those ugly bumps anymore. as i said in my previous post up top, the papules are completely gone and all that remains is an outline of lighter skin of where the papules use to be, im still very dry in the area and will wait a week or 2 to fully heal up and reexamine the area and see if any papules were missed, as of now everything looks clear tho. its the greatest feeling ever to not see those ugly things anymore... i only hope and pray those of you affected by PPP can also share this feeling i am having now.
side note : for those of you who are religious, some praying sure helps, it did for me.
if there is any other questions i could answer feel free to ask, nothing frustrated me more then reading about this tea tree oil treatment online but not being able to find any real testimonials from people who found success with it, so i will do my very best to try and check up here daily and answer any questions to those who are curious.
I just tried the soldering iron method...I was so darn shaky that the soldering iron touched my penis head and burnt it a bit. I hope it doesn't leave a scar :(. Thanks to the guy that posted this method cuz I had this since I was about 9 o.O I'm 22 now and awaiting the results xD
My post got deleted or something?
