I had my gall bladder removed on the 10/21/14, I immediately started feeling better stomach wise. Yes I was in pain, but remember they just removed an organ from me! I made sure that right away when I would get up I made sure to stand as straight as I could. I carried my little pillow with me but I made sure to stand straight.
I returned to work after a week. However I do have a desk job. I have made sure to not lift more than the 15lbs my doc limited me to. I still can't fit into my normal pants, but i'm sure that will come.
My only problem is I have a lump just about my belly button to the right, which is painful. I had a cat scan that shows no sign of a hernia. But this does cause me pain when I get up. This lump came after my moms 20lb dog jumped on my stomach the day after my surgery.
I would go through the gall bladder removal 1000 times over again to feel this good. I've been having stomach issues for over a year and they finally found my gall stones. 6 large stones that previously didnt' show in tests. I can finally eat without getting sick!

I just had my surgery a week ago and my children feel like I ought to be back up and around as usual.
I feel sick and weak. I can only eat a few bites at most. My skin itches intently. I feel like I have a uti coming on.
Thank you for your post. I don't feel abnormal. Now.
My daughter even suggested I was depressed.
Months. I know what you feel.
Firstly I realise this post was over 12 months ago however I am posting in the hope that that either the OP or another person can enlighten me with any information regarding sore wrists after having their Gallbladder removed.
Background: had Gallbladder removed ten days ago, was just sore/tender from the surgery but was very happy - complete improvement and feeling great.
Over the past 24 hours my wrists are progressively becoming very painful, right now I can not bend my wrists at all, the pain is excruciating and actually brings tears to my eyes.
Can anyone shed any light, ie: common and passes, uncommon and here to stay etc.... anything that helps ease this sympton?
I have never had any pain in my wrists before....
Thanks in advance
