It is called "hysterical pregnancy" even men can get it! Your brain is the main frame of your body, so think of it like this - you punch in information over and over again (to your brain) that you ARE or feel that you are pregnant! So the brain starts believing it and starts adding little "signs"! Start taking prenatal vitamins - not just folic acid - they have been proven to increase your fertility! Stop smoking and drinking - also your partner - this also has been PROVEN to hinder both of your fertilities! Use a pillow under your buttocks and remain like that for at least an hour - to help the sperm! Try and take out the "business" of becoming pregnant - this has also been proven to hinder conception - from the increase in stress levels! So relax "have fun" take your vitamins and help the little girls and fellas out! I wish that you conceive in the near future!

Hey Bambi you are so intelligent in this area please help me! My last period was April 17th last time I had unprotected sex was around may 17th with pull out method, taken out exactly 5 minutes before ejaculation. HAVNT had my period yet no real definite preg signs only I get back pains occasionally not severe my nipples kinda look dark to me and my belly looks round but when I sit it flabs up like fat it jiggles and I can pull it, about 4 months since period and it's not hard .. I've taken 6 preg tests ALL negative last one was a week ago ... I'm so stressed just turned 17 I need help ... Anyone please ...

Hi everyone! I'm in the same boat as well!! My husband and I have been ttc for 6 months with absolutely no luck! A few days post ovulation, which I know is to soon to have symptoms, I started feeling the symptoms that I hadn't felt previously. Backaches, nausea, and headaches also got pretty dizzy from time to time. That lasted about two days now I am just feeling tender in my breasts. I took a test on sunday which was 6 days before AF is due but now I'm 4 days from AF and REALLY want to test again but am trying to convince myself for AF or the lack of AF (fingers crossed)!! But then again I get hopeful and then can't help but lose hope and feel that I am just going to see AF show her ugly face again come Monday... It's just like clock work EVERY TIME!

Hi all, Im not sure what is going on with my body this month but a few days after ovulation My breasts started to hurt and I had mild period like cramps for a day, im five days away from af but my breasts are so sore and big and yesterday i had pains on and off in my right groin and hip area. Today I have period like cramps and back pain all day and have felt the need to sleep most of the day. I took a test earlier and it was negative but maybe it was to soon and it was from the pound store haha! Anyone got any ideas??

i know this is a really old thread but i had my mirena for 3 years and i was like you no period. me and my husband had been trying for almost 2 years after i had it took out. went to the doctor to find out i was not ovulating because of my mirena. so now i am on medication. Baby dust to you though! =]

Hi,   I just got married the twenty second of December, 2012. I started my period half way through our honeymoon and we had and have had intercourse without any protection since then. About a week or two after I just had this feeling I was pregnant. We thought we wanted to wait to get pregnant but when I thought there could be a possibility I got excited. I am just wanting to know if my symptoms (Going to bathroom more often, back pain, cramps, sore breasts, extreme hunger lol, hotter than usual) are just in my head. My period is due in three days, took a test two days ago so too soon I guess and it was negative. Going to wait and see if I get my period. I hope I'm pregnant! I usually tell women that one of the first signs is sore breasts, hips and lower back (as your body starts getting ready IMMEDIATELY upon conception). with yourself - Guest - I would say just to wait to see if you miss your period. I need the dates of when your period started, and your cycle length, dates of unprotected sex etc. So I could kind of give you a round about idea if i think you are or not - Please note I'm usually 50% right? ;-) JK! I can help you further with this inforamtion. For the women whom are trying, may I suggest yourself and your partner start taking prenatal vitamins (yes BOTH of you) these have been shown to dramatically increase both of your fertility! Also if you smoke, do drugs, drink, you have to stop these - as these definitely hinder your fertility. Help mother nature along - with keeping your buttocks raised during and after ejaculation. Eat healthy and keep track of when your period is, any delays, how long your cycle is, dates of unprotected sex, dates of ovulation IF you know, The doctor will ask the same question and it just means an unneccessary test, if you say "I don't know" Good luck to you all!

My period isn't due until Saturday... I'm having what I believe is morning sickness... I feel like I am on a boat or just got off a spin ride I gag but nothing comes up. I feel dizzy sometimes get hot flashes boobs are tender I have had cramps for 3 days and when we have sex I get cramp. I've taken multiple tests but they are all negative is it still just early? Or should I try to forget about it? I'm getting frustrated with all the negative preg tests but I never had these symptoms in my life

i kno this is an old post but may help some1 else i tested neg 2days b4 my period was due n thn when i didnt get my period i took a test on day 2 of my period being late and it was positive.. i now hav a 2 and a half yr old son :-)

It sounds like you had a chemical pregnancy, which is a very early miscarriage.

 Guess what,your post was four years ago but i just need to reply. I wish you were pregnant then and so you'll experience the magic of motherhood. Even if you didnt get pregnant during this 'post' i hope you did in the next months that came by.I wish you all luck and Godbless you and your baby..:)

Your symptoms are very similar to mine. My boyfriend and I had sex the 15th, 16th, and 17th of March. I was ovulating at the time.. and around the the middle of that following week i started to notice my boobs were tender to the touch, my nipples were sore, i feel bloated all the time, i'm extremely emotional i'll start to cry or get really pissy out of random and my boyfriend has noticed the mood swings as well... so im not going crazy. My nipples look a little different. I noticed they look more "veiny" idk? Also, the area around the nipple seems to be a little darker. You see, I went to the dr to see if I could get a blood test this past friday.. she had told me it was too soon to take a test.. so she told me to contact her the day of my missed period. My period is expected to come on the 31st, but im too eager. I want to know now!! I took an at home pregnancy test about 8 minutes ago, and the result said "not pregnant" this test is the first response test.. and is supposed to test up to 6 days before a missed period.. my period is expected in six days and yet it came up negative????? i took another one on thursday and the test was also negative. This is just all to confusing. I really do believe im pregnant. Ive been dreaming more vividly as well! My entire body feels like I got curb stomped by some evil bitches! ugh help me?!

Hey what abt ur result now... u did first response test it came out with negativ but what happend after ur missed period?? I also feeling I am.pregnant but first response gave me negative result...oh btw I have irregular period.. and I had miscarrige 3 months back now I am scare... :(

I love seeing these posts and knowing I am not the only one out there that does these things, I am due to get my period in four days..I have taken about 3 pregnancy test, all negative...Im going to test in the morning but I already have my mind set for another negative sign.  Its a shame there are so many of us that want a baby so badly and have a hard time conceiving but then again there are others who get pregnant and dont want a child.  Reading these gives me hope, it seems many of you have gotten a negative and it turned out that you really were pregnant.
