now he's purring in my ear!!! i dis like it when he does this. any ideas how to make him stop?
I have this problem too. The only thing I have found is to jump out of the shower as soon as I am finished and put on Aloe with lidocain. I stock up on it before summer is out and slather it on as soon as I get out, other wise, I will be in tears. I still have a lot of hairs under the skin and my legs are not pretty and smooth like others. I also stick with a good razor and gel. I still have pain in salt water even two days after a shave.
it could be because of the razor. i get them after i use my razor for too long or if i use one that doesn't have soft paddings
Hi, I have the same exact problem, I used to avoid shaving because of the extreme burning and itching, the pain of shaving used to push me to tears! and the only thing that relieves my pain is a mixture of organic extra virgin coconut oil (can be found at any grocery store) and hemp lotion! It's worth a try!
My legs are REALLY hairy and I want to start shaving them but I'm scared I'll cut myself. What do you recommend- that is least likely to hurt? :l
Use rubbing alcohol right after you've come out of the shower and it will take the itching away.
I think is what happened to me
30 years ago I used to apply powdered peroxide bleach to my legs so any dark hairs I previously had were lighter and couldnt be seen. This worked a treat but it was probably not a good idea! A few years later I remember changing to using throwaway blades and very rarely a clean looking one my husband had! The silly things we do with out bodies :) I lived in a very warm climate and had fair skin so took care to cover up when I needed to. My concern is only this: I have a condition that started after using a razor on my legs. At first there were tiny sore bumps. I used a cream and I know it was the wrong choice as the skin became very sore. A week or so later it all settled down but left me with a couple of marks like freckles. These grew and clustered together making a complete freckle with hardly a space in between. I have this condition at the front just above my ankles, and a few brown spots around my feet. I saw a skin specialist 5 yrs ago who gave it a name and wasnt very sympathetic. He annouced he had a few too and proceeded to show me his ankles. I must say I wasnt impressed! However he was a nice guy and probably thought he was being helpful. So for years I hardly show my legs. But I would appreciate it if anyone out there knows what it is and did dry shaving cause it? My only advice is to avoid using razors, especialy cheap ones, they just scratch and damage the skin. I hope my message has been of some help.
