Ya u smoke weed once a day you get munchies but smoking a 8th a day your body isn't functioning properly. The thc is stored in your blood cells makes you burn calories easier. I've been smoking pot for 11 years daily, I've had buddy's who have quit and gained huge weight from being healthier

Yeah you’re totally right. I started smoking when I was 19 and I was 88kilos I’m 24 now and 61 kilos and have been smoking every day since then. Pretty happy with my weight tho I need to quit for surgery

I tend to agree that quiting leads to weight gain. It's happened to me since quiting about 3 months ago. Has anyone tried replacing smoking with taking CBD oil or tablets instead? Apparently the CBD is linked to the weight side of things, I'm going to start taking that to see if it has any effect on the weight gain. I'm eating healthier now than I was when I smoked but I'm gaining weight on a daily basis. I sleep more now than before I quit. It will be interesting to see what happens when I try the CBD tablets, but I wonder if anyone else has tried them instead and whether it has helped?

Seriously? All these comments are stupid. Everyone’s different. It’s lifestyle changes. If you don’t want to be fat work out and don’t stuff your face with sugar and carbohydrates . If your worried cut the carbs and go for a run.

Lol if you smoke weed nearly allday evryday munchies ain't the same, maybey for someone who dont smoke much will get munchies but if your blunt after blunt bong after bong, weed will actually suppress your appetite speaking from experience smoked it for 15 year just stopped and my appetite is through the rough constantly hungry now, luckily I don't put on weight to easy

I smoked for over 15 years on an off over them years I stopped for two or three years an started up again as I gained to much weight. people are all different same as if u didn't smoke at all. I myself gained 30+ kgs in only a few months I'm not a lazy person I do 1 hr walks a day I have gym equipment I use regularly an I eat healthy but still gain weight I sometimes want to go back to pot to help me get rid of the weight again but it's not worth it if someone don't like me cause I've gained a lil weight they not worth knowing it's not what's on the outside. Good luck with giving it up it will do lot better for ur wallet let alone ur body

Gain weight? Weed makes most people hungry, including me. I always overeat on weed and especially sweets. Guaranteed to gain weight and be chubby on weed. Only reason I’m quitting. All it takes is to give in to the munchies once a day, and the weight gain compounds. How anyone loses weight on weed is a complete mystery or anomaly to me.

Yes but if you smoke weed that much, it gets very expensive and you build up a tolerance where it’s not easy to get high either. No thanks.
