Don't freak out people! I've had these since *before* I ever even had sex for the first time. Since then, I've had sex with 10+ women and not a SINGLE one has noticed or even said anything. Rarely do women get a chance to really take a good look at your balls. Maybe during a blowjob but even then typically they're looking at your belly button area. I'm sure some of the girls I've been with have noticed, but look at this thread -- there are 18 pages! How much you wanna bet that a large percentage of guys have these, and they're actually pretty normal? Naturally, guys don't want to speak up about them often because they look like STD's or something. I think girls think scrotums are pretty gnarly in the first place -- a few white spots isn't going to make them look any gnarlier in their eyes. My advice: Don't think or care about them! I've never had a problem getting laid because of them, and I'm not even that much of a looker, and I don't have a lot of game. Seriously, don't worry about 'em. It's not worth stabbing them all out and scarring your sack. My two cents..

I have had this problem for the last ten years or so, when it gets to bad i get them removed. Been 4 times, first time the uroligist charged me $700. Then when we found this process repeating every 18 months he felt bad there was no cure and he has been charging me $200 for the rest,of my visits. BE WARNED if you pop a big one yourself you run the risk of creating a cluster of them around the area of your home surgery. Not good. No cure, best bet is find a good doctor

I think the only way to stop them from coming back forever would be to have a skin graph of another part of the body. I read that they can grow your own skin in a lab from a small piece. I have done everything but they keep coming back and never seem to stop showing up. Before one even heals from removal a new one takes it place..  depression has become pretty bad.

I have had several scrotal cyst thru my lifetime, and one, after I cleaned it out, turned into a perfect spot for a new piercing, without a needle being used!  They are usually harmless and somewhat annoying; basically your body picks up lint and sweat into these 'gaps'.

As for cleaning them out, one can have fun while they are at it.  Try working on the cysts in a hot tub of water.

Hi Everyone

I have these cysts on my scrotum for last 15 years. I got them removed in Pakistan in 2001 but it came again. Now I m in the UK and I consulted a dermatologist and he said that there is nothing he can do about it as these are harmless and he can get it removed by surgery and I have to pay for it. The dermatologist asked for £1000 which were too much. I didn't try to remove them by myself coz I think its not advisable. Can someone in the UK tell me what can I do about it? Is there any place where they can remove these cysts and I pay reasonable price? Your help will be really appreciated.

I have had one removed and it is not a big deal. But you do have to go in for out pt surgery. Was no pain at all to have it done. I need to have another one remvoved as well and will do that in march. Going to see if it can be done in the office. If you want more detail email me.

I want to say I too suffer from these annoying sebaceous cysts. It started when I was around 13, getting one or two...now I have pry around 50 to 60 now. I have been to a doctor and had them removed when I got about 10 of them, but as the doctor hinted too, that they eventually would grow back. Thought about going to the doctor again to get some of the larger ones removed as I am now 25 and have a bunch more. I chose not to though cause its costly and pry wouldnt remove all of them. I tried all the remedies...tea tree oil, hot compress, castrol oil, ect...needless to say it was pointless. I recently stumbled upon this thread and decided to do the self surgery option, as I have popped a few before and wasnt too bad...just breaking the skin hurts. I have been taking care of about 10 at a time and have about 30 left. I am happy with the choice and the look once they healed. I would definitely recommend the self surgery option. The way I go about removing each cyst is a little different. I use nail clippers...I think they work much better, especially for the harder cysts. I take the cyst and squeeze it with my fingers, and as im doing that I break the top of the skin with the clippers. I then take the clippers and cut the white part of the cyst with the clippers and all the nasty stuff comes out. Make sure if you do it get it all out. All I know is this thread has been amazing for the support and help, better than any other site by far!

Use the replacement razors for like box cutters...there so sharp u can't feel them break through the skin and the slightest amount of pressure does the trick. Be sure to disinfect blades boiling them in alcohol water before use. Home depot have then for under $2 i use the husky brand

Hello everyone! It was great reading all your posts and knowing that im not alone. I had these since im 17, im 32 now. It started with a few. and with the years the numbers added up. I had a few surgeries and got the bigger ones removed, but eventually with time they grow back. The surgery is not painful, you just feel the sting of the needle for a few seconds and the rest is painless. Don't worry about them too much, as embarrassing as it might seem don't worry about them. I always tell girls that its in my genes and there is nothing for them to worry about. Don't let these ruin your life, its not a big of a deal. Don't be scared or embarrassed to go see a doctor, they see far worst sh*t than this everyday. Trust me, i faint at the sight of my own blood. If i can do this you guys could do this. I don't suggest it to do it yourself. Some of you have balls of steels to this on your own. Every now and then you'll have to go in and remove some. After you go through it once, you'll see you will lose that fear. Keep your head up!

Cheers.
