i have the same condition, i've had only one small seed-like object embedded in my scrotum. although it was painful, i took an x-acto knife to mine and removed it quite easily.
i had one on the left side of my scrotum i kept on squeezing and messing with it and such and finally a bunch of white puss came out.. it still there but not as bad and its not discolored im now getting another one around the same area i guess i have to keep squeezing this one too
I have been reading this thread for quite some time and I finally went to the urologist to get them removed. He put me to sleep and 'removed' them fairly quick. He gave me and anti biotic ointment to apply on the stitches and ciprofloxacin to take twice a day. Now its been 6 days, the ciprofloxacin pills are ending tomorrow and the incisions have started to heal and the stitches are starting to come off so I'm able to see how its turning up and I'm a little disappointed. I had two really big ones, one looks to be healing nicely and the cyst is going away but the other, it looks like he just sliced the side of the cyst and the cyst is still there, I can see the white puss (i dont know if thats what it is) that is very hard where the incision is. I have a follow up appointment at the end of march and I'm kinda freaking out. I dont know if he botched the surgery or not. Going by what other people have said, it should have been completely gone and it doesnt look like thats whats going on in my case
Sorry for the double post. I was thinking about taking a needle and poking the hard white puss to see if I can remove it myself but I'm not sure, it does hurt a little when I put pressure on it with my finger. Honestly, this is worse than I expected and worse than before the procedure, and going 2 months with it like this would be horrible.
I just finished my own self-operation after reading through some of this thread. The worst part is breaking the top layer of skin. Once I got through that with a needle there was no pain at all. I don't think I opened a big enough hole in the skin to get mine out easily and wound up popping them and had to pull the leftover 'sac' out through the hole. If was quite weird to be tugging and turning as I slowly pulled it out of my sack but there still was no pain. There was a good bit of blood but nothing major to worry about if you keep some paper towels handy.
The first one you do is the worst because you won't know what to expect. After the first one it's all gravy. First one took about half an hour as I slowly worked my way down to the cyst. Second one was done in about 5 minutes.

I avoided typing anything to do with the little hard lumps on my balls for about 2 years, in fear that it was something else... more brutal. But that's a relief, knowing it's common. I guess I'll just live with it *sigh*
I had a few also, I've been to a dermatologist and he said that they were harmless, nevertheless they can interfere with your life.
I've removed them myself and they didn't grew back. The thing is, if you pierce it and squeeze the white stuff, it will grow back, but if you just rip the skin on top of it and wide the hole a bit it and pop it out, it does come out like a seed with a root like thing. After that it wont grow back (at least in that spot).
When you rip the skin on top of it it bleeds a bit, but almost nothing, and the bleeding stops almost instantaneously.
I've done it quite a few times now and they didn't grew back.
Hope this helps.

I actually have the same problem for the past year. Ive ignore it for quite a while but i seem to be getting some more. I seen a dermatologist while back and never went back to get them remove. Now that i have read this post it giving me n idea of doing the procerue myself. So my question to you is, as today how does your scrotum look? iam just worried that it wont heal good or will have open wounds or something. thanks
hey there. i know its been a while u post this up. but if you still get this message and still have a video. It would be verry helpful for me to perform this procedure. if so, ill appreciate it. thanks
I have them too, they started to appear at puberty, at 46, I still have them, tried many methods of getting rid of them including a Dermatologist removing two of the bigger ones, they came back.
I found out that certain things you eat can make them worst, so if you avoid these items in your diet you can stop the production of new cysts and the old ones stop being itchy. Folate and Panthothenate are the the ones to avoid, they are added to most cereals, milk, icecream, flour, bread and so on. It is the goverment food inspection place that OK's the addition of this man made poison into the foods that they think are helping us. I used to cereal all the time, that is why I got the damn epidermal cysts to begin with.
I just recently found that low heat from a dim flashlight light bulb does shrink them, I got one too hot and it boiled the grease in it, the cyst went away and so far hasn't come back, it's been two months and the scar tissue even disappeared. I'm about to cook another one, I hope to have the same luck. It does hurt, but if it gets rid of them, whats a little pain.
I hope some of this info has been helpful.

thanks for the advice ill try to c if it works on me. Does anyone have a video on this? i am pretty scared in doing this myself myb a video will help me out perform it well. thanks.
The needle method works. I did a couple that I didn't even get the hole big enough to get the entire sack out of so I just pulled the remainder out with tweezers. It was slightly painful but nothing too bad really. I did it 7 months ago and they haven't come back at all. I was just as afraid as some of you guys. just make sure you keep everything very clean and that after you are done make sure to apply some alcohol to the area to keep it clean. I put a bandaid on it and the wound was already healed the next day. Good luck guys.
I got em, no big deal, i got most of them removed, the bigger ones lol, gotta go get the rest out, the dr just cuts a lil slit and pops that sh*t right out, looks like an alien egg lol oval white and weird, just pinch it tight and cut a lil hole with a needle or safety pin ( sterilized of course) pull the sac out, put some alcohol on it and slap a lil circle bandaid on it, itll heal shortly but will leave a small bump with a tiny indention, no worries, thats just a scar. Happy hunting, good luck since your gettin rid of these pesky lil bastards
awesome will try it..thanks for the feed back guys. lets c how it goes
Guess What! I too have been suffering the same problem. As of 5 minutes ago, I firmly beleived I had contracted herpes from a promiscuous girl I had cheated on my girlfriend with. I guess I have folliculitis or whatever as well. I never knew it to be a condition but I have bad razor burn on my neck, guess its close to the same. Anyways Im too excited to type forever but. I am guessing shaving my balls for the ladys may have increased this condition twofold. It looks like ball acne. Anyways I had a big one half way up on the shaft when I was hard, although when soft I can move it to my balls. You know how it is. Anyways after reading you guys attempts at popping em I figured Id giver a shot. I mean, mine was getting mis shaped no longer round like a pimple but a cauliflower texture. Gross right! Eww! I thought it was herpes sooo bad. I thought I gave it to my gf and everything. So long story short I stab the big sucker 3 times with a tack and you really have to isolate and stab the seed looking thing you can see under the thin batwing scrotum skin haha. Anyways so I did that and was squeezing blood out for a good 5 minutes and it was getting smaller but was still there. It was too big to try and remove in in a seed shape I thought. Haha performing surgery on a toilet with a tack. Wtf is wrong with us right??? So Im not feeling it is adequate and I decide to squeeze it with all I've got, really isolating the seed like thing, mind you I had 3 tack holes in it, it was a biggun. And I can not tell you how much puss came out of it. I mean like one of the longgg strings you can squeeze out of your nose pores. It was almost a tan color and was very thick. I wish I took a picture it was so gross. Anyways I squeezed it away. Cant f*****g beleive after all the grief it caused me. I never reply to things like this but man, am I happy and feel great. Screw the small ones. This was a monster. I diagnose it as an ingrown hair. Just my guess
