Hey guys, I'm 24 not preggers and have bad no Surgery etc. I although have a long history of anorexia, bulimia and 10 years of laxative abuse. I haven't slept a full night in 10 years due to chronic stomach pain, resulting in vommitting, sweating, shaking... Bleeding Anyway long story. I have been to countless doctors, had All the procedures possible, tried hipnotizing, acupuncture you name it I've done it. Only thing that has come up is that I have a inflammed small intestine. I am pretty sure that what we are Feeling is our poop in our intestines. I find if you massage the "snake" or "lump" it will move down your Tummy. I suggest everyone look up a pic of your intestines. Start gently massaging the right side of your tummy, slowly moving up, then you may feel some flipping, moving perhaps even a bit of pain and sound. Then it will go down your left hand side down your tummy. Keep gently massaging. This is where a lot of people's "baby" gets stuck and you can feel a pulse kind of thing. Eventually you will feel like you need to to go to the bathroom. It can take awhile. It's good to keep moving.. Although most of the time I was in so much pain I couldn't move and it was at night.. My verdic is, although I am no doctor... But I spent my sick days when I'm conscious.. Reading and learning about all these things... We have all had some history to do with our tummy. Or it might be the start of IBS.. Some of us may be able to see the lumps because you have had a baby and your ab wall has separated or you are thin etc But I think what we are going thru is our pop trying to reach the back door and it's struggling! It might be just that you aren't eating enough fibre (lucky) Or you are having a bad reaction from medications or a food. Doctors these days are sh*t and don't have time or care. Try writing a food diary and see when the lumps move or are at there worst. Write what time it is and if you have had any medications. I know calcium and magnesium can cause diarrhea if taken too much or if u r sensitive. Also iron tablets can cause constipation. I suggest if you have asked the doctors and had no help. Go ask a Osteopath or a good massage therapist for a tummy massage and tell them your prob. I hope this helps someone

Crazy that this post is going on for nearly seven years...so I just wanted to say that like you all, I too, have had children.  I have had those same pains and the baby kicking sensation...I've even watched my stomach MOVE and feel exactly like it did when my children moved inside my belly during pregnancy.  And I definitely was not pregnant.  Ladies, hang on to your hats... IT IS GAS!

Let me explain.  We do not treat our bodies like we should.  We do not eat the right foods on a regular basis, we are busy, stressed...all of that leads to intestinal dysfunction.  Sometimes, you'll feel a fluttering of gas, other times, it will be so painful, you might believe something just ruptured inside of you.  The nerves in and around your intestines are sensitive; this is why you'll feel the flutter.

Unfortunately, I don't have the answers to fix it.  I suffer from diverticulosis, and that, in itself, causes me other issues.  Maybe, if your pain is chronic, you should talk to your doctor about that being a possible condition.  Otherwise, all you can do what you are already trying to do....eat right, exercise, and try to relax.  i strongly recommend Yoga.

Hope this helps!

I am a 36 y.o. female and had the same symptoms. My physician diagnosed me with H. pylori, everyone has a some in there system but it can get out of control. I did a two rounds of strong antibiotics along with vitamins and it took care of the baby movement feeling and made my bowel movements regular again. My physician had also said the CDC had recently issued a warning that H. Pylori was on the rise and to test anyone with these symptoms. I am so happy to have found a doctor who listened, took me seriously and also kept up with current articles from CDC. I hope this help you.

I am completely confused. I am 19 years old and I just recently had my tonsils taken out and that is when I noticed my tummy starting to look bigger, bloated wise. There is no chance that I am pregnant for I am always on my pill and my boyfriend takes his safety precautions too before we have sex. I haven't had a period in 4 months but that's due to change of birth control and I am also very anemic. I have gone to the doctor and he gave me a list of possibilities, that it was just my pain killers, OxyContin and basically Tylenol mixed, that was causing the bloating. I told him I was having problems with my bowels and trying to go to the washroom an he gave me acid pills like a stronger Zantac to take. But nothing has been helping I have become my own doctor by googling and researching but scare myself more during the process. My gunk says I may have a cyst on an ovary but I can't get into an ultra sound until the 14th of this month. And the constant popping, bubble like movements causing a heart like feeling in my stomach is really worrying me and all I want is some answers, so if anyone could please help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

I had the same issue. I thought about my diet changes. The only thing different that I was taking was a water, flavor, add-in. It turns out it had aspartame. I never drink diet drinks, so I figured that was it. I quit using the add-in and now I'm back to normal.

I have had the same issue...it all started after my first child was born. I have been to the doctor many times for it with no answers. This last time I went, she said it may be a hernia...my hurts if I over-do it too much. Hoping to get this confirmed to whether that is what it is or not...
