So do you think that there is possibility that they might be returning? If this is the case then they still might be in the early stage, in which you can go do doctor for painless treatment. There are many members here who had very bad experience with hemorrhoids.
I think bluedog may be onto something...I have had it for about three weeks....at regular intervals when sitting mostly....I have had bowel problems and it seemed to increase after I went from diarrhea to constipation and was pushing too hard....
I am now having the same problem... just started a few days back.... anyone have any clue as to what this is caused from? Are you all male or female?
Oddly I have been having the same problem and it started a day or two after I started riding a bicycle consistently. That's all I know but I thought it might be helpful.
I also started experiencing same problem since yesterday. No obvious associations, just may be some work-related stress. It started yesterday afternoon and it is still going on. Very strange feeling. The buzz goes for 2-3 sec with same intervals of 4-5 sec. It can stop for a couple of hours, then starts again. It is like I am sitting on my cell phone in silent (vibrating) mode. Not painful but rather embarrassing. Hope it is nothing serious.
I have had this same sensation. I went to the doctor and she thought I was crazy. I had the same sort of feeling in my feet and spider veins showed up shortly after. Could this be related to hemorrhoids?
This is so crazy...Mine started this weekend and it is exactly what everyone else is experiencing...but mine lasts for about 15-30 seconds-every couple of minutes while I sit or lay down. My husband just laughs-This is the first weekend that I haven't done anything but lay around the house and read books or watch tv. Maybe it's becuase we aren't doing anything?? or the hemmriod theory-but I don't think its a hemmi--hopefully someone can let us know whats up with our butt...haha-but really!
SOMEONE NEEDS TO COME UP WITH A SOLUTION FOR THIS!!!!!!
its been happening to me for the past month, and it is DRIVING ME INSANE... it is the most annoying feeling ever and i dont know what to do, someone needs to find a solution.

I have had the sensation of a vibration in my anus for almost a week. I have just found some relief. I used a Preparation H suppository and that has totally stopped it so far. It has been almost 24 hours now. I am hoping that I have happened upon a treatment. I would definitely like to discover the cause.
HI ALL, I WENT TO THE DOCTOR FOR THE SAME THING. OMG!!! IT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 5 DAYS NOW. WELL N E WAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. JUST WAIT IT OUT HE TOLD ME. IF ANYTHING ITS A PINCHED NERVE AND WILL RESOLVE ON ITS OWN. GREAT....WHEN WILL THAT BE????? HOPE THIS PUTS EVERYONE AT EASE. >;) %-)
I am a 42 year old female and have been experiencing this for the past 24 hours...exactly as described...like a cell phone is vibrating in my back pocket...or if there is a strong baseline from music or movie/TV. I thought it was my imagination at first, but I woke up with the sensation again first thing this morning.
Surprised there are so many that describe it! It is a pulsing, rythmatic sensation.
I have had IBS for years and had serious rectal bleeding last spring. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and was dx with proctitis--it is aggravated by stress. I use Canasa suppositories during flare ups that seem to help immensely. I recently had a flare up and have been using the suppositories at bed time for about week now. I also took a stool softener at bed time twice this week...a few days ago.
I have returned to an active work out regimen lately after summer off from the gym... so I am wondering if it is some kind of muscle spasm due to my weight lifting 3x a week. I so sometimes get a spasm in my leg muscles after lunges and squats. Just was looking things up to see if this was in my head or real! LOL.

Mine started today. The most annoying feeling ever. What is this?
Seems like we are all on the same boat, we don't know what this is. Well, if anyone finds out, please let us know.. I'm going to do some research on this, it must have a name.. >:(

I've just started getting the same thing today. All mining iv been checking my chair thinking there was something wrong with it. It feels like a loose spring slightly vibrating. Then eventually I realised it was my own bum! I'm not too worried, I agree it's probably just a muscle spasm.
Hi all
Isn't the Internet a wonderful thing! Although I did feel a bit weird typing those two words into google!
I've been experiencing the same for a week now and it is very annoying although not painful. I suffer from ulcerative colitis and piles so assumed it was to do with the onset of a case of piles - still believe it may be so going to visit a chemist at lunchtime to see if I can find anything to make it go away. Will repost if I find something.
Good luck people and thanks for making me not feel so weird!

Wow, same problem here, weird feeling like mobile phone on vibrate, every few minutes for about 10 sec, doesn't hurt though, thought it was something serious but after reading on here I'm not so worried. I'm a weight lifter i think this might have something to do with it, maby'e strained bum muscles, anyway I'm glad I found this forum.
