Hello, i think most of the answers/comments I read here are older than a year. I will keep going on and read them all, as I still dont know if a doctor found out what it is. My first time I noticed a weird outcome of my nose was from today (23/11/2021) maybe a few weeks ago, not sure how many. That time i sneezed and had clear/transparent mucus but there was one dark, greyish thing what looks like wet grey paper fiber kind. I was a bit scared at that moment cause everything else was fine and clear. I thought maybe I inhaled something over night or the last days and this now came out filter from my little hair in the nose. Now the last days i was sick with a cold, chest pain some heavy cough with phlegm and running nose. I use to take Chlordioxine as medicine and use also chlorella alge to detox and help my body to stay healthy.
I am actually not thta sick anymore, since 2 or 3 days but still have some cough with typically yellowish phlegm and some mucus through my nose, but very little. Today I first sneezed and then I blew my nose and it came out from very deep somewhere in that upper respiratory system. All mucus was clear/transparent but there were some particles like 5 or 6 tiny pieces, think like a very tiny leaf, even green, light green and structured like a leaf from a tree about 2 mm by 3 mm big not that small and some darker almost black little things, leafy kind. I don't have any explanation what it is and where it comes from. I blee my nose several times today and it could not be from just the inside of the nose, like something what i accidentally inhale. No, it must come from somewhere else. Mine today was more light green, and some pieces dark almost black. I wonder if maybe the pollution can has to so with it. The chemtrails (full of mercury, aluminum and other heavy metals) they throw on us? I would love an explanation. By the way, I am 42 year woman, not using any eyeliner or other cosmetics. Living in Spain, Europe. Thanks for your help.

Has anyone figured out definitively what this is?
Blue fibers in snot. Looks like dryer lint.
I'm female, 35. And have consistently had this for years now. As well as a chronic cough.
But I have never used an inhaler and don't wear make-up often.

Dear All,
So glad to know i am not alone. However a few factors I'd like to share that might be beneficial. I have been diagnosed with Chronic bronchitis.. never had COVID and rarely wear mascara. I had a severe chest infection in 2020..to the point i thought it was COVID..but tested to rule it out..i was under severe stress at work and my health continued to suffer. Weak from the infection so i drank and drank strong coffee..namely espresso often. Once i stopped working my body begin to heal but i continued drinking strong coffee..i believe was also weakening my immune system..this is when I first noticed black stringy threads mixed with my saliva..at one point I thought the chest infection turned to pneumonia but was treated. Then I thought it was from a previous exposure to black mold..which could be the case however it wasn't until this infection coupled with stress that this black stuff appeared..so I started water fasting and juicing. no black stuff at least for a while like 6 months on. i returned to work ..more stress more coffee new infection but not as bad. this time i limited my coffee intake and restricted myself from certain coffee companies.. but one day the black thready mucous reappeared in a larger quantity but was slightly lighter in color. i started to restrict sugar from selected foods..stopped eating fast food and started eating more veggies and fruits less meat. then one day after drinking espresso the stringy mucous came again but blue in color. This was about one month ago...I almost completely stopped eating beef..I barely eat meat and when I do it's chicken or fish.. i probably eat meat twice a week if that.. i rarely use white sugar mostly honey and i drink lots of tea with fresh anise seeds or fenugreek seeds. the blue stringy threads are decreasing..but soon as I drink coffee it returns. I think the sugary additives in my espresso drinks weakens my immune system and decreases my oxygen supply. Thus causing oxygen deprived mucus filaments...and the more oxygen deprived the darker the thready mucous.
I hope this sheds light..adds to a new perspective or at least was a good read. smiles

I also have the same thing going on. Blue mucous daily. I’ve tried 3 antibiotics so far with no luck. Please post if anyone had found the answer of how to get rid of the blue mucous.

Hi,

I'm here to try to help so please don't troll. Addiction is hard enough, and replying in a post is a tad embarrassing enough but i just hope it helps someone if this is the issue...

I was a heroin addict for awhile, smoked it only, and have not touched it in over a year. I can't really explain how this happened, but it did. I'm Portland Oregon you can't even hardly find it anymore and it's because the cartel wanted people to switch over to the "blues", fentanyl pills. They're disguised as oxycodone 30mg pills (blue round pills with the letter "M" in a box on one side and a sh*t line with "30” imprint on the other either below or above the score line, I've seen them both ways). I started to smoke those lightly. Now I'm addicted to them and i hate it. But what I've noticed is it comes with a chunky nasty cough. Within the phlegm are blue fiber like hairs. It's creepy. Tons of them and your phlegm is tinted blue/grey. But the blue fibers are what's tripping me out big time! It's every single time I cough literally, and like I was saying, they're actually pretty long fibers, some would actually probably consider them like almost hair like. But they are definitely blue and they are fiber, but I'm wondering what in the world is it? The people who are making these in Mexico creating them with some kind of fiber material? So that they maintain their shape? So that the fentanyl sticks together or something I don't know? I really don't know how to ask that question really but all I know is I've never had this problem in my life until I started with these things, so, if you're experiencing blue fibers and you smoke that evil pill, that is most likely the cause. Get help and get off of them they're horrible and they're killing people left and right!

Do you do drugs? Those blue pills?

its p.aeruginosa, it comes from the gut most likely because you have recently used antibiotics as it is opportunistic pathogen

After years and of constantly getting sick, coughing up blue streaks in the morning shower, going through many lung tests and specialists, a functional Dr referred me to an immunologist. Really thought it would be a waste of time but figured I would try. Go figure she had the answer! She did skin tests and figured out that I had allergies to cats and dogs. Having a cat for 19 years I never experienced what I thought would be a normal allergic reaction like watery eyes or congestion, The dr said your body was constantly in hyper mode from the allergen so when I was exposed to a virus I would get immediately sick. She gave me steroid spray for my nose. After using the spray and my cat passed away I stopped coughing up the blue streaks. Wished I had gone to an immunologist years ago. It would have saved me years of getting sick. Not save me from all sickness but from many.
