i have the same prob, but mines all over my stomach, but more so on the left side. i have no idea what could have made it like this, but i know that i sleep on my stomch a lot and one morning when i woke up, it felt this way, but wore off. now it stays all day and night. any one have ony idea what it could be caused by? %-)
Has this thread been abandoned? My left side just below my last rib has been hurting for the past week, and a small area left of my belly button feels numb. Just wondering if anyone has found anything out about this...

Hi everyone I've had the same problem for about 4 days..no pain just a numb feeling that comes and goes...me and my partner are trying for another baby and been told this could be a sign but I've been pregnant twice before and never experienced this...any ideas? Thanks :)
i have it too . but it could be that your thyroid is low you would just have to take a certain medicine for the rest of your life.. i have never heard of numbness in the back all the way around to the front of my body until last night i could not move and i have had some cold burning feeling around it too.. but i can honestly say that just be careful on what kind of activities you do like carrying heavy items using back muscle too much and be careful on what kind of things you do in the bedroom im not saying not to make love but be careful how you do it.

Crazy such a common issue. Mine started 2 months ago. No gallbladder so that is ruled out. I have a small ovarian cyst and told the numbness could be transferred to different areas but that would exclude the males with the same issue, right? I purposely didn't eat much this weekend and it acted up as soon as I had 2 good size mugs of warm tea, again after eating a little. It's like my side is swelling up and getting numb...no pain. I drink a lot of coffee and a dark beer when I drink. The closest thing on the internet I have seen is kidney issues...stones or disease?
I have never had any of these symptoms.
Please let us know what your Doctor finds...If anything. I also have some ache that goes away with Ibuprofen on the back (the same area that feels numb on the front)
I've been feeling the same thing for about two weeks now. Have had x-rays & CT scan, but showed nothing. Yet my stomach is constantly numb, tight & puts great pressure on my lower back. Has anyone fouund anything out?
I doubt thats it because i cant have kids it might be because of an ulcer maybe
